The car seat is so comfortable and plush, I love the fabrics and the material the shade is made out of. It is super convenient that you can leave the wheels attached to the base and just carry the bucket into stores/home. This makes it much lighter to carry around too, which is super helpful when recovering. The storage bag is also incredibly useful and I love that it has a cup holder. My only complaint is the size, which I understand why its footprint is larger than a traditional bucket seat, I just now plan where I&rsquo;m going to park so that I can be sure my car door can be opened fully to get the stroller in and out. Personally, comparing to the Doona, which I used for my 2 older kids, the evenflo has some benefits, mainly that the wheels can be detached from the base to make carrying it lighter, in situations where that is more practical. I also like that the lower buckles are covered in plastic so the can't get boiling hot, which can be an issue with the Doona, and it seems that the angle of incline for the baby is better than in the Doona. I was disappointed that the feature of having magnets to keep the straps in place on the sides so they don't get lost under the baby when putting them in, while great in theory, doesn't actually work. Also, the design requires using 2 different release levers when removing from the car to go into stroller mode, which is not as convenient as the doona, but can be acclimated to with time. While the overall appearance of our first carseat is more my aesthetic, our newborn much prefers this seat for the comfort. The seat is plush but still sturdy, and I was surprised at the quality -- not just in the seat, but in the stroller as well. I would definitely recommend practicing releasing and compacting the stroller wheels without the baby in the seat. It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it it's quick and easy. It's extremely nice to have my toddler still in his carseat while I quickly grab my baby out and wheel her over to his side of our van. The quality of the stroller surprised me, because the wheels don't appear that sturdy. I've taken this for walks in our neighborhood and it's a smooth ride on our sidewalks. Baby happily sits in the seat, and the canopy adjusts enough that she can be completely covered or have a view to everything around her. An added plus is how dark the black canopy can make the seat. Another thing I was worried about was the height of the handle, which adjusts up and down to become the handle on the carseat or the stroller. For reference, I am 5'6&quot; and my husband is 5'10&quot; and neither of us has a hard time pushing. We weren't all too impressed with the safety clip. You can download an app and have that peace of mind, which is nice ... but it didn't become a feature we found ourselves really using. I would imagine this would have been something I'd have used more as a first-time mom, though. Either way, it's a great option to have. Complaints I have to mention would be that the handle on the carseat has to be fully upright while she's in the car. If you tilt it back, it hits the passenger seat headrest. And the other inconvenience is that you have to remove the storage bag when using this as a carseat. If you have stuff inside, you have to unload it all before fastening the carseat in the car. All in all, if you're running into a store for a quick errand or eating at a restaurant, this seat is SO HANDY. I've gotten so many compliments on it, and I think this concept is really taking off. The ability to take the wheels with you or leave them in the car is really convenient - I can use the wheels when running into the store or doing daycare drop off, but leave them behind when I have to walk upstairs into my apartment. There is a little bit of a learning curve mastering the different levers to expand/collapse the stroller and release the car seat from the base, but I think over time this will get easier with practice. Installation was super easy in the car, I am a big fan of the anti rebound base and the SensorSafe chest clip - these are great safety features. I love that fact that the Shyft DualRide GOLD took everything you could possibly need for a trip and condensed it down to this all-in-one compact travel system. They really did think of everything down to the last detail. I am a neat freak and was hesitant about having wheels touch the seat of my car or the baby. Shyft DualRide GOLD designed the wheels to fold down neatly so that it protects your car's seat and baby. The fact that you have a car seat, compact stroller, base, and compartment storage all in one unit is and everything folds down so seamlessly is absolutely priceless. They really did listen to what parents need when it comes to commuting with a baby and delivered this amazing travel system. I am blown away but all the detailed features they included. We took it on vacation and It made going on vacation with a baby way less complicated. We were able to easily go from plane to rental car and to the hotel with less pieces to worry about it. The material of the car seat and canopy is very plush, smooth, soft and breathable. It has a very high end feel that provided my little one with a lot of comfort as we traveled. The preemie/newborn insert is a wonderful addition as it helps props your little one nice and snugly so they fit perfectly inside. The generous canopy length was one of my favorite features as it provided my little one with privacy from random strangers trying to get a glimpse or touch my little one. Honestly who does that? but people do and this canopy help keep those random people away from trying to wake my sleeping baby. The handlebar is wrapped in plush high quality leather which and looks and feels like the other extremely expensive strollers out there on the market. The storage compartment has a neat feature that you can remove it from under the stroller and it becomes a storage on the go bag. How awesome is that! The drink holder, although fits only 1 drink works great. Breaking system: The break system is individual for left and right wheels, meaning you have to step down on a pedal on each side to lock the stroller from moving. I didn't find any issues using it and it was easy and simple to lock and unlock the wheels. Stroller handle height: The stroller glides and turns effortlessly. I'm 5'4 and my husband is 6'2 and we both were easily able to push the stroller without any back or elbow pain from the 2 height settings. Cons: The only thing I would take into consideration is that the infant carrier gets quite heavy when you have the stroller wheels attached to it. So if you have to go up lots of flights of stairs daily, I don't think I would recommend wanting to carry this up and down. Final thoughts: Above and beyond impressed with how well thought out the Shyft DualRide GOLD is. You can tell they took a lot of thought in making this truly an all-in-one travel system to truly meet your needs and they hands down delivered at an amazing price point that. i would highly recommend this product. I personally liked the ease of use it has right out of the box. This stroller is easy to use and has very little things to set up. The Evenflo shyft dualride has a lot of really cool features. My top favorite feature is the sensor safe chest clip. The sensor safe clip is great because it alerts you when the car is too hot for baby, or baby has been in car seat for to long. Another great thing the clip does is alert you and other family members if baby has been left in the car alone in the seat. Which would be great in preventing babies forgotten in car. Honestly I wish all car seats had this feature. The other features I like are the basket and cup holder that similar strollers on the market do not have. I experienced zero trouble and took 5 minutes because I installed the wheel wells on the base. Transitioning from car seat to stroller is a pretty seamless transition. He seemed even more comfortable in this seat than in the previous two we tried out. I'm excited to use it with our new baby, due next year. Now, on to the important stuff. The installation process was quick and easy. It hangs over the seat more than I expected, but that's not an issue since we have a 12-passenger van. We also tested it in our full-size 4-door truck and minivan, and it fit nicely. However, depending on the make and model of your car, it could be a tight fit. I can't stress enough how convenient this seat is. As a mom of several little ones, being able to quickly pop in and out of places without having to take everyone out of the car and get the stroller situated is amazing. I'm thrilled that Evenflo included a more extended canopy than previous infant seats. It's been a lifesaver at sports games the past few weeks. The sensor-safe chest clip is an added bonus that gives me peace of mind knowing my baby is secure and buckled in. And let's not forget the no re-thread harness - a must-have for babies who seem to grow overnight. I was worried about not having an actual basket under the stroller, but the carryall bag surprised me and was quite functional for our needs. It does hang a bit low and can get kicked sometimes, but it's not a big deal.
