For the most part, the car seat and stroller are ready to go right from the box. The placement of the car seat harness was already in newborn position which was very helpful. Installing the car seat in my car using LATCH went very smoothly and there were great directions in the product manual. The app for the safety chest clip was straightforward and took only 2 minutes to set up. Absolutely LOVE that this clip can tell you when your car is too hot/cold, if the clip becomes undone, and will also signal to family members if my baby is left alone in the car. The car seat turning into the stroller is next level awesome. Extreme convenience for this busy Momma on the go. It feels very light when it comes to pushing baby around in and makes it very easy to get around to many different places with two options. If we are taking a trip to the park we use the stroller feature and when it comes time to going over the in-laws home its soo easy that with one simple move we can detach the wheel base from the carseat and not go in with a bulky carseat/stroller. I love the little details like being able to easily attach and remove a storage space on the bottom and the cup holder is also a life saver. I only have two things I could really say I disliked is that when it comes to getting the straps out of the way to sit baby in carseat they do not stay put, i believe it is a magnet inside the cushioning instead of a traditional hole. With the sensor safe clip have a love/hate relationship, its amazing the technology of having something to remind parents that need it telling you that baby is still in the car and also the temperature of the carseat itself, what I dislike is that you CANNOT step away from baby for one second when hes with my husband in the stroller because it loudly lets me know baby is in car when we are out and about. Another thing is that even when unclipped it does tend to sometimes still remind me every few seconds baby is in car when we are actually at home and car seat is unoccupied. The concept is very convenient especially quick trips in and out of the car like when I went clothes shopping with my infant and 6 year old - she was actually able to push the stroller herself! No waking up baby to transition into stroller, carrier, etc. just get her out of the car and push 3 buttons! The more I used this the more I wanted to love it, but couldn&rsquo;t&hellip; 1. Read the manual because this is not an intuitive product and I&rsquo;ve used a lot of different car seats and strollers. 2. Extremely bulky yet feels clumsy and plastic. 3. The wheels and brakes are cheap - have to push 2 separate pedals to break, yet you can still push the stroller forward when locked with minimal effort. 4. Collapsing from stroller to carrier in order to get in the car seat base is DIFFICULT! I practiced 5 times before actually using with my baby &amp; I still had to hold the button while I kicked in the wheels to get it to collapse down. 5. Again, it&rsquo;s bulky - it would not fit easily in a small vehicle and did not fit in the third row of my Honda odyssey with the seat up in front of it. I wanted to love it and maybe a niche group of parents would, but as a mom of 3 (6 yrs, 4 yrs, and 1 month) it&rsquo;s not for me. The Evenflo Gold Shyft DualRide meets or is better than federal safety standards. It is tested at federal crash test standard, side-impact tested, rollover tested and temperature tested. It also has an anti rebound base to take help with any impact. The car seat strap has a sensor for temperature, unbuckling alert, and if your child has been in the car seat too long. The only thing I will say is it is a little heavy with the baby in the stroller when you are dropping the wheels and putting the stroller back into the base. I anticipated it being more difficult to take I&rsquo;m and out of the car, but taking it out of the car and opening it into a stroller was super easy to do. I had a c-section and it was great not having to lug the car seat around! It&rsquo;s a great stroller to take going out to eat, you don&rsquo;t need the high chair to set the car seat on. Let me start by saying that the comfort level of this car seat is INCREDIBLE! Premium feel and comfort. It can safely secure babies from 3 pounds to 35 pounds. It includes a soft and thick removable liner/cushion for the tiniest babies. My two-month old son is quite a big baby and he seemed much more comfortable in it than the other car seat that we have. I am not a fan of black fabrics as it can absorb and trap heat (especially on warmest days), but I will admit that the space and the fabric is soft and breathable for my baby. The extended canopy is UV protected and the fabric, again, is very breathable! I love that it is a lightweight fabric which protects my baby from the UV, but doesn't trap much heat in there. When zipping up to open the extension part of the canopy, the extra fabric is sheer which brings in some light/glow. Overall, the comfort and the quality of the fabric is quite amazing. I'm happy my baby is comfortable. The base has an anti-rebound safety feature. I found this base to be safe, efficient, and very easy to install! It secures very well with almost no movement/sliding. Two things that stood out about this car seat are: SensorSafe buckle and Seat to Stroller mode. SensorSafe is a bluetooth buckle that connects to an app on your smartphone to monitor the temperature surrounding the baby and it lets you know whether or not your baby is securely buckled in. It is such a nice feature that gives an additional peace of mind instead of worrying whether or not your baby might be feeling too hot or cold. And sometimes kids pull off Houdini moves and unbuckle themselves (or their siblings), it's nice to be notified quickly especially while driving. Since this is a new feature, I am sure this company would eventually improve some minor flaws that seemed to show up on our end. It tends to read temperature higher than it actually is. Also, if both parents are using the app simultaneously, it will be notified to both of them whether or not one of them is nearby. My husband was out of town one time and he was notified that the baby was left unattended in the seat, but my baby wasn't in the car seat. We found out that my oldest daughter was playing with the car seat buckle and that triggered the notifications. Seat to Stroller mode is super duper CONVENIENT!! No more having to load and unload the detachable car seat strollers! No more filling up the cargo space. No more forgetting the strollers. With its lock in system, you can only separate the car seat and stroller wheels when it's attached to the car seat base. Otherwise, it's not possible to separate them outside of the car or wherever the base is. That way you won't ever forget the stroller. With one button/lever, you can have it folded down anytime anywhere. The handle has a nice leather cover with a button on top to extend the handle when using the Stroller mode. When not in extension, you can press two rotation buttons on each side of the handle to adjust the angles. There are three angles: front, middle/top, and back of the car seat. The only downside to this is that it requires both hands to press the rotation buttons. As a mother of two, I usually have something in my hand or arm while pushing the stroller. Putting down things including my other child when needing to rotate the handle can be a hassle. Another nice feature about this car seat are wheel guards that protects your upholstery from dirt and debris. I find it unintentionally helpful when trying to place the car seat to the base. It acts as a guide for alignment. They also have nice accessories such as cup holder and detachable carry-around storage bag. I have not been able to use the cup holder as it seems to be missing a part that connects it to the handle. A few things to consider: 1. the wheels doesn't roll over uneven surfaces well 2. the car seat is heavy when in Car Seat mode, therefore making it hard to lift and fit into the base if you have an SUV or bigger vehicles. I am 5'6&quot; and it requires some strength and a little bit of standing on toes. Not only that, because of the wheels, it becomes a bit more difficult to get it through car doors when parked quite close to another car. I find it much more ideal for this to be in minivans because of sliding doors and bigger entry. 3. Don't expect folding down from stroller mode to car seat mode to be smooth sailing. It requires some practice and repetition to handle the transition with ease. It will involve back bending. TIP: lean the car seat backwards and down when folding. Overall, it is a nice product. Main reason for having this car seat would be freeing up the cargo space and a peace of mind. A few things could be improved for the ease of use, especially for shorter people with bigger vehicles, though. But on other occasions those wheels are a total game changer! I get it out of the car and within seconds we&rsquo;re cruising! Transitioning from car seat to stroller and back again are both fast and seamless. It makes quick trips into the library or doctors office, etc. so much easier. Installation was also easy and straightforward. I installed the base in my own car but if we need to take a trip in my husband&rsquo;s car we love that we can just install the car seat using the seatbelt and no base, and that we can do that with or without the wheels. So many options! This product also comes with great features and accessories. The attachable storage bag is really nice to be able to toss in a few diapers, wipes, and any other necessities. Another nice feature is the SensorSafe chest clip which offers great peace of mind. I had my baby in his seat ready to take to the car but had to go grab something and in the meantime my toddler had undone the buckle so an alert was sent to my phone telling me to check it. I also love that this carseat has a no re-thread harness, as babies grow quickly so this makes it more convenient to always make sure I&rsquo;ve adjusted the straps to an optimal fit. My baby seems nice and comfortable in this car seat. The attachable cup holder is ok but I will say my only complaint about the entire product is that the cup holder can spin, so if your drink gets bumped it could tip over. This happened to me once but thankfully with just a closed water bottle. Definitely wouldn&rsquo;t want to trust it with a hot coffee or something else with an open top. This is definitely not something I would&rsquo;ve thought myself because it seems a bit gimmicky. But when I say it is so useful, I cannot stress that enough. My husband and I have one kid who is nine months old and we did not go out with him a lot when he was younger because of health issues. He still sees the doctor a lot and we are able to get out a lot more now with him. I say all of that, because we didn&rsquo;t really have much practice with the best way to handle him with a car seat, a stroller and all his gear before we got this. But this came into our life at exactly the right time! The car seat base was very easy to install, and the instructions made me feel confident that it was installed safely and securely. I will say the car seat with the wheels is a bit heavy and cumbersome, but all you&rsquo;re doing is taking it out of the car, pressing the lever and the wheels automatically come down and you&rsquo;re ready to go. My favorite thing about the stroller feature is how narrow it is. It handles super well and so you&rsquo;re able to go into busy restaurants, tight doctors offices, and busy sidewalks. Pretty much anywhere you would need to go in a city. I also love that the handle rotates almost 180&deg;. So you can push the stroller easily and then when you&rsquo;re ready to sit down, you can park it next to your table and put the handles all the way back so the baby can sit up and see what&rsquo;s going on without any obstruction. My only complaint is that for my nine month old, the shoulder straps seem rather low. I think I adjusted it to go as high as it can, but I haven&rsquo;t looked back in the instructions to see if I can make it go any higher so I should probably do that. But otherwise, he seems very comfortable in it. I also like the sensor on the chest strap. I have never forgotten him in the car or felt like he was going to overheat in the car but it&rsquo;s just I hadn&rsquo;t added sense of peace of mind, knowing that I would be alerted if he was in danger in the car. BIG FAN. My main concerns with a car seat comes down to safety and function. This stroller has both and more. I also had a c-section so having a heavy infant carrier or stroller was a major concern for my overall healing. This car seat checked all the boxes and allowed me to stroll around with little to no effort. Since having my second child, I was amazed at the stroller and car seat combo convince when using daily. It was great being able to get my infant out of the car swiftly and stroll to the other side of my van to get my toddler without breaking a sweat. The stroller came with easy to read instructions and provided QR codes on the seat itself for easy access to videos explaining set up. This allowed me to feel secure and know that I installed the seat correctly. The only set back was it took me a moment to figure out how to lower the stroller into the car seat position, but after a few tries, I could break it down and place into my van with one quick movement. One of my favorite features was that the seat can detach from the stroller part entirely. My spouse and I were both surprised at how light the infant carrier was when detached from the wheels! The safety features were also comforting. I had never experienced the safety strap until now and I don't think I could ever go without it. By connecting to my phone, I was able to be notified if the chest strap was unbuckled or it the temperature wasn't ideal. It will even tell you if the child was in the seat too long on road trips. I&rsquo;m surprised at how intuitive it is and you just need to know the difference from pulling the upper handle to extract the car seat and the lower handle to extract the car seat attached to the stroller. The transition for having this car seat into a stroller is one of the most amazing things that I love about this stroller. It is so easy to set the car seat down pull the lever and lift up and you have a stroller ready to go. Transitioning from the stroller to the car seat was just as easy and pulling the lever and just leaning the wheels back and down it goes into a car seat. Having this now with out second child I wish we had this for our first one because of how much easier it is to pull out a car seat and have the stroller attached to it and ready to go to wherever we&rsquo;re going without having to Get a stroller from the back of the car to unload and the. Reload again. There was very little assembly required and it was intuitive as a standard car seat would be, which is surprising because this also holds the wheels for the car seat base. One slight challenge I had was the plastic supports for the wheel base did not click into car seat base correctly for one side, but I realized it was because I did not insert it into the right slots. I was able to pull it out and then put it into the correct spot, and it clicked in with no problem . No big deal on my side and was probably user error. Just wanted to let you know in case others had the same challenge. I like that there&rsquo;s an option there for the Sensor Safe chest clip and it&rsquo;s definitely a benefit to have that capability, especially connected on your phone too know how your child is and if there&rsquo;s any issues. Generally speaking, it would not be the reason I&rsquo;d buy the car seat/stroller and is not something I would seek out as required. This car seat simplifies your life in a season that is very busy in raising a kid. In the past, I had a heavy stroller like the Bob stroller and I would have to pull it out of the trunk get it set up and then get the car seat out with my child to put into the stroller and do the same thing again when loading back up. The first time I changed the car seat into a stroller I audibly gasped. It was so easy to do! Traveling with this car seat and running every day errands is a breeze. I have a toddler at home as well as a baby. Carrying an infant seat is really hard for me to do while holding my toddler&rsquo;s hand when I&rsquo;m out and about. Being able to push a button and have my car seat transition into a stroller has been a helpful solution. I am very careful about reading instruction manuals front to back to ensure proper installation on any car seat. Out of all the car seats I&rsquo;ve owned I have to say this was by far the easiest install I&rsquo;ve ever done. There are at least 3 QR scanning codes conveniently located (one on the back of the car seat and 2 on the base). It is so simple to scan the code on your phone to view step by step video instructions for proper install. I can tell Evenflo put a lot of effort into making the videos as straightforward as possible, a feature I didn&rsquo;t expect that was a huge bonus. The manual also has well detailed instructions and pictures. I felt very confident installing the seat correctly. Pros: -The wheels swivel well, it is very easy to steer. -Having a stroller bag attachment for storage. Something I wasn&rsquo;t expecting but glad I have, especially for travel. -The lower latch release. This is the BEST lower latch release I&rsquo;ve ever used in a car seat. Usually the release is a button on the latch. To access the button l you have to dig into the seat to push it down while pulling the latch up. However, the release on this car seat is a simple red strap you can easily pull to release the connection. Much simpler. Cons: The stroller handlebar height is on the shorter side. There are two height levels which is nice. The lowest level is perfect for my 10 year old. The highest level is great for me at 5&rsquo; 1&rdquo;. My husband is over 6 ft so even the highest level is a little low for him. However the connivence of the car seat being able to convert into a stroller outweighs this con in my opinion. It fits even the smallest of babies because everything can be adjusted (3 positions for the waste buckle, multi position crotch strap and multiple harness heights). My son is in the 98th percentile for height and weight and at 9 months is nowhere near outgrowing this. The no rethread harness is a dream as you can just click and pull up on the handle to adjust the harness height. There are high end finishes on this stroller too. The handle bar is a brown leatherette and the attachable bag has the same trip color. It includes a cup holder and the travel bag instead of making you purchase then yourself. The bag is easy to access and holds a good amount of things. It&rsquo;s over 12&rdquo; wide and about 9&rdquo; deep. You can access it by either a zipper on one side or a magnet on the other. Super convenient to have and although you can&rsquo;t fold the stroller with it on, it is super easy to just strap on. I love that you can just remove the car seat itself and leave the wheels in the car. This is how I bring my son inside the house as I don&rsquo;t use the stroller part inside. He&rsquo;s heavy now so anything to make the car seat lighter is appreciated. We do a lot of on and out of the car and this is where the car seat really stands out. Just lift the seat out, lift the lever on back and it&rsquo;s now a stroller. After just a few errands you will be praising this seat. The wheel covers on the base is also a game changer as it doesn&rsquo;t allow the wheels to drip on your car seat in the rain. I found it easy to install in both my Kia Forte as well as my Kia Sedona. I&rsquo;d love to be able to buy an additional base in the future. I did find that mine stuck trying to close it from stroller to car seat. That was annoying when my son was in it and I couldn&rsquo;t easily close it. It didn&rsquo;t feel super secure, and it required acrobatics to keep the strap from getting caught in the stroller at multiple points in the setup process. The way the Dualride carseat transforms into a stroller without any additional pieces automatically makes it easier to use and more convenient (and saves a lot of trunk space). It took me a couple tries to get used to going back and forth between functions, but I quickly got the hang of it. My first opinion upon unboxing was that the stroller mode wasn&rsquo;t as solid as I was expecting. This makes sense, though, given that the additional pieces needed to be lightweight to make it manageable. Once baby is inside, it feels a lot more sturdy&mdash;though the handles are wobbly&mdash;and the wheels/ride is very smooth. The magnet on the front of the bag attachment didn&rsquo;t want to stay closed, opening the top of the bag randomly, even with nothing inside. This attachment doesn&rsquo;t offer as much storage as other, more traditional strollers do; but&mdash;considering the ease of the car seat to stroller transition&mdash;I think this can be forgiven and adjustments made to accommodate most people&rsquo;s daily necessities (don&rsquo;t expect to put something larger like a boppy pillow in it, though). The cup holder says not to put anything weighing more than a pound inside, so a 40 oz Stanley-type cup is out (it doesn&rsquo;t fit well, anyway); but our 24 oz Starbucks cup fit nicely, and my 4 yr old liked that he could tip the holder to take a sip without removing the cup. The smaller size of this car seat&rsquo;s stroller function makes it super easy to take out shopping and even into restaurants (less bulk is a BIG PLUS). When it comes to the app, that was quick and easy to set up. One day when it was 96* F and felt like 100*, I set the carseat outside to test the temperature function. After 15 minutes in the shade, the car seat still registered 78*. After 30 minutes, the app finally alerted me to the &ldquo;critically high&rdquo; temperature, with the app reading 94*. Five or so minutes later, the app wouldn&rsquo;t even tell me an exact reading, just &ldquo;TOO HOT&rdquo;, so I&rsquo;m assuming it hit 95 or 100*. It is a bit concerning to me that the sensor took half an hour to realize the temperature was so high, but there is the possibility it would have reacted more quickly in direct sun. However, I was immediately notified when the SensorSafe clip was undone and again when I walked away from the car seat (it notified me when I&rsquo;d walked the length of my apartment from the seat). This does exactly what it needs to do to still be lightweight but be able to make it through stores, farmers market, around the block, into the rec center, etc. without needing to bring along a folding stroller. Needless to say, my husband and I have our fair share of experiences with our sea of strollers and car seats (14 total) because each brand offered a feature the other lacked. Thankfully, we were fortunate enough to receive the Shyft Dualride to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The initial setup of the car seat base was simple and straightforward. It only required one access point to tighten the base to the car's chair rather than from multiple areas. The Shyft Dualride is indeed convenient and functional because of its all-in-one feature. There was no longer a need to have to go to the trunk to pull out the stroller nor did it take up more space than necessary. It literally took up the space of one seat--that's it. This meant that our trunk could be used for other things like big shopping trips rather than for housing a bulky stroller. Not only is it convenient, but it is extremely functional. With a maximum capacity of 35 pounds, the Shyft Dualride is most useful for newborns and infants (sadly, for the price, it doesn't grow with baby and most likely will have to find an alternative after a year). When we brought our newborn home from the hospital, this product made it easy for us to transport her from the hospital room to the car. It was nice to not have to carry her all the way to the car because most car seats are bulky and can be quite heavy. Instead, we simply used the stroller feature to push her out of the room. This made the trek home much more efficient and less laborious. The minimalistic space it occupies in addition to the ability to convert from car seat to stroller in one go are my two favorite features. Speaking of easy, switching from stroller form to car seat form is a breeze. Behind the car seat is a lever that releases the wheels so that it can be used as a stroller. To undo this and turn it back into a car seat, you use the lever on the wheel base and guide the wheels against your feet to fold them back in. If there was anything difficult about this, it would be remembering which lever did what. Moreover, I was initially afraid that the wheels would dirty the car seat but Evenflo has made it so that the wheels are lifted off the base so that they don't touch the seat of the car at all. Moreover, the push on this thing is amazing. I could make sharp turns and snake through cones if I wanted to with one hand and a gentle push. It glides amazingly on concrete--my second favorite feature. The handle is extends and contracts with the push of one button; however you have to make sure to push the handle all the way down and hear a click in order to move it back and forth--something I think consumers might forget. Additionally, Evenflo added a SensorSafe chest clip which is pretty high-tech. It helps warn you if the child is left in the car, if the temperature is too hot, and when the chest clip is buckled/unbuckled. We thought it would be a problem to have this continually warn us of the temperature if the car seat remained in the car, but it turns out this wasn't an issue. As long as the clip is unbuckled when not in use, you won't get any annoying notifications. It's also nice to know that if you do happen to accidentally leave your child in the car, it will alert you and give you two minutes to fix this problem before contacting someone else in your family. However, I did find that it sometimes told me that our child was left in the car when it wasn't true at all. In addition, when we went on a drive, it kept telling us that the temperature was too hot and wouldn't let me dismiss the notification on the app, so it kept popping up every two seconds. Other than that, I think it's a nice feature to have if you really wanted all the bells and whistles, but it really didn't do much for us. In fact, the notification of the extreme temperature probably heightened my anxiety seeing how we were driving and couldn't do anything about it. Despite all these advantages, I did find some things that need improving. First, the cushion that goes in between the legs kept coming off whenever I would take the baby out of the car seat. This became irritating because I would have to go searching for it, so I just stopped using it altogether. Second, because the Shyft DualRide is meant to be as compact as possible, this means that the wheels aren't big. Thus, it's not an all-terrain stroller with good suspension, so you and baby can feel every crack and bump you roll over. This would sometimes startle her. Lastly, we set this up in the second row of our van which has captain seats. Because my husband is a bit bigger, he had to take this out in order to access the third row where our oldest sits. This seemed like a bit of a nuisance especially since it's the summer season. My daughter is 6 months old, 18 pounds and she fits really well in the car seat. We decided to try it out during our vacation (5 hours in the car) to get the best idea of how well it works. She seemed to like it and there wasn&rsquo;t anything negative that I noticed as far as how she liked it during the trip (she was able to sleep well in it for most of our trip). Things I love about it: first and probably the main reason you are considering this car seat-the way it transforms into a stroller. With 3 kids, anything that helps save space and time is worth it to me. The fact that the car seat base/stroller piece all fits together is a huge space saver. I also love that the car seat detaches from the stroller part if needed/for when I don&rsquo;t want to use it as a stroller. My husband installed it in our Chrysler Pacifica and he loved how easy the base fit into our captain chair (specifically, he liked the belt lock and leveling foot. He felt it was really well designed and simple to use). Taking the car seat in and out of the car as a pumpkin seat and with the stroller base was pretty easy for my husband. It was a little more challenging for me (I am 5&rsquo;3&rdquo; 110lbs and not in shape, so it was a bit heavy and awkward to get the whole stroller part out on my own). It is a little heavy, so keep that in mind if you&rsquo;re trying to move it from one place to another with a sleeping baby. It took me a little bit to figure out how to make it go from a car seat to a stroller, but once I did, it was very easy to use (just don&rsquo;t try to figure this out for the first time with a sleeping baby in it, your baby will most likely wake up if you&rsquo;re like me). As far as safety goes, it feels very safe. The sensor safe chest clip is nice so that you don&rsquo;t leave your baby in the car without realizing it. I didn&rsquo;t have any trouble with it, but others have stated that it alarms really easily. It comes with a bag that attaches to the base, which is great for storing diapers, wipes, and extra clothes. My husband wasn&rsquo;t impressed with how it attached at first, but after using it, we found that it worked better than expected. I appreciate that they included this feature as I always have stuff with me. It also is really cute and I love the material of the bag. The cup holder is great and I used it on most of our walks. I also love the adjustable handle. My older kids were able to easily push it and then I could extend it to my height. It was a little small for my husband though (he is 6&rsquo;2&rdquo;). The other thing I loved was that I can push it with 1 hand. This is huge for me as I often am carrying my 3 old in one arm (or a bike or whatever my kids don&rsquo;t feel like carrying) while pushing the stroller. Things that could use some improvement: I wish that the straps were easier to use. The idea of a car seat and stroller being the same item seemed very convenient for me, I just didn't realize how much effort it would really save me. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and am blown away by this product! First off, the look. The white, black, and then brown leather is so classy looking. The padding looked great for my baby and he seemed very comfortable it. I had two of the accessories, the cup holder and the carryall bag. I think these both add so much value with very little effort needed. The cup holder seemed sturdy but like it would be best for a to-go cup or like a Starbucks plastic drink. I would not recommend using a metal flask or heavy duty cup as I do not think it would fit very well, it also has a 1 lb weight limit advised. The carryall bag is great for the little toys, blankets, or even to carry your wallet in. It was a little annoying to have to take the bag on and off when I needed to fold the stroller, but really only a minor inconvenience if i kept the bag in the back seat by the car seat. Second, the convenience. Having the wheels pop down is now a non-negotiable for me. To get out of the car and be able to go straight back to my baby and not have to get a stroller out of the trunk and set it up was amazing. It also somehow felt a little safer to me because I could go straight to them and not have them waiting in the car while I went around and got a stroller. My baby was also able to stay asleep because the he was not jostled from a car seat into another item. Also, to be able to have the choice to just grab the car seat out of the base and leave the wheels was great! It was nice for times like church or when I was just going over to someone's house and made it even lighter to carry. Third, the safety chest clip. I have never heard of anything like this but am amazed at how far technology has come. The clip was connected to my phone and would alert me if it got unclipped, I was too far away from my baby, or if it got to hot in the car. One very hot day, the clip gave me a temperature alert while I was in the car with the ac going. I feel my baby was safe but probably more uncomfortable than me with the heat and I turned all of the vents up and back so that more cool air could reach my baby. It was just a helpful reminder to help cool it off back there and to keep an eye on it and pull over if needed. I love that you can set it up to talk for the alert. When i am driving or distracted, I do not always look at my phone when it buzzes, assuming it is just a text, but with this app you can have it set up so it speaks the words no matter what. Overall, this product is amazing and worth whatever amount is asked for it. My only two tiny complaints are that it was hard to get use to having two different buttons/levers for bringing the wheels up and bringing the wheels down. In the moment it can be frustrating but once you get use to it, it is very simple. Making the wheels retract takes a little more strength than you think and a little angling to do the trick. You just have to figure out a rhythm for you.
