It&rsquo;s rated from a minimum of to 3 lbs so I had no doubt that it would fit her! There are several ways to change the fit to accommodate a smaller newborn, such as shortening the straps at the splitter plate and moving the hip straps to a more narrow position. This combination is very unique to this seat in my experience. The base of the car seat is incredibly easy to install. This is huge! You can&rsquo;t have a safe seat if it isn&rsquo;t installed correctly. What makes this product different from similar products is that you can remove the actual infant seat from the attached stroller! this is fantastic for if you want to move the seat to a different Evenflo stroller for different outings, or if you just want to remove the seat itself for inside the house, and leave the stroller portion attached to the base for outings. The carry all bag and cup holder is a great touch. Everyone needs storage on the go! The seat itself is very light. Even with the stroller it isn&rsquo;t overly heavy, and at that point you will be pushing it. I love that the fabric is machine washable and machine dry as well. My daughter loved this car seat and I felt extremely certain that she was safe in it! Overall, I do love this stroller/car seat combo. It contains a lot of technology, combines style and function and is a great concept. Like anything, there are always some limitations. Instillation: When installing in the car, the system is easy to connect and has a tensioning feature that allows for tightness of the straps and ease. This is a great advancement. The base is longer than typical so would work best with more clearance such as an SUV, it may be a tight fit in a smaller vehicle. Weight: The car seat is heavier than other basic car seats and when the wheel base is on it, it is much heavier. This needs to be taken into consideration for any c section moms. It is too heavy to carry initially with any weight restrictions. Car seat: The car seat portion is very nice. The canopy uses a great, stretchy fabric and even has venting capability with a zippered section. The seat is soft and plush and looks very high end. As this was a test product, I did not get to choose the color. If purchasing this on my own, I would opt for a black car seat base instead of the white which I received (see photos). I just think that would look better. The car seat handle is brown, leather which makes it look classy. I did not utilize the SensorSafe chest clip as it sends alerts after the baby has been in the seat for over 2 hours and we often travel longer than that. The alerts were bothersome so I deleted the app. I can see how this would be a great functionality, however, for a first time parent especially. It also will alert when the temp gets too high, if the child unbuckles the clip etc. Ancillary items: The Carryall storage potion is very slick. It attaches to the base and has a magnetic closure. It stays in well and holds a lot of stuff. The downside is it does ride low and often gets kicked when walking. The drink holder is a good size, however it does pivot on the handle and my water bottle fell out on numerous occasions. Stroller: The wheels on the stroller base are small so this product has low clearance and makes for a bumpy ride along sidewalks and any other non-smooth surfaces. This did great at the grocery store, mall and any other smooth surfaced facility. It was average on asphalt. Basically, this item may not be the best for evening family walks, but fantastic when running into the store/shopping. The handle is able to be quite low which was fun for my younger kids, as they were able to push the stroller with ease. The handle does also raise to a comfortable, adult height so that flexibility was an added bonus. One last thing to note is the user manual was quite lacking in information and difficult to understand. It was best to look up videos online on how to utilize the stroller functions, transition from car seat to stroller and instillation protocols. As a whole, it is very compact and easy to use. I have a chunky 6 month old who typically uses an infant car seat and separate stroller. I received this infant car seat/stroller combo from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out. I was so excited to get this product because I had definitely looked into car seat/stroller combos when I was pregnant. I ultimately decided against it because I wasn&rsquo;t sure how much I would use it, but it is very handy to have for quick trips to the doctor, grocery store, restaurants, etc. With that being said, I think it would be A LOT easier with a newborn than with a 6 month old. My baby is already pretty heavy, so loading him in this car seat/stroller combo into the car is very difficult. I have to have my husband with me to load him in because it&rsquo;s so heavy with him in there. I have heard that from friends who have other combo seats as well, so I think that is just part of it for the convenience of a combo seat. If I am by myself, I prefer to use a regular infant car seat because they are so much lighter compared to this combo seat. I do plan to keep this seat for our next baby and use it straightaway. I think it would be great to take to the hospital for easy carry out and to have for all of those newborn doctors visits. The seat itself seemed pretty cozy. My baby was able to fall asleep in it in the car as he usually does with his other seat. As far as the stroller, I wouldn&rsquo;t recommend this being your only stroller for all purpose use, as it is not as smooth of a ride but it&rsquo;s great for quick trips. Setting up the base and seat altogether was simple and quick. I didn&rsquo;t have to adjust the straps too much for my baby&rsquo;s current size, but I like all of the options for various size babies. Lifting up to make this seat a stroller is simple, but sitting it back down for just a seat isn&rsquo;t quite as seamless (for me at least) as the videos make it look. It takes a couple tries for me to be able to sit it back down into a seat once it&rsquo;s in the stroller position. This seat does stick out a little further in my car than a regular infant seat (maybe due to the wheels?), so I&rsquo;d keep that in mind if you drive a smaller car. My husband had to sit with his seat a little more forward than he usually would due to the space (we have a 2021 Nissan Rogue). One feature that I was sad this seat didn&rsquo;t have is the ability to place the buckles into the side of the seat so you&rsquo;re able to sit your baby into the seat without laying him on buckles. It wasn&rsquo;t a huge deal, but it is a feature I&rsquo;d suggest for any upgrades to this seat in the future. The sensorsafe buckle is a nice feature that I would find especially beneficial for having a newborn or a little bit of an older baby who may have the ability to unbuckle the clip. Overall, this is a great product for what it does. I was very excited to try this product. Straight out of the box, it looks very nice and trendy. It is very convenient to be able to turn the car seat into a stroller without having to pack additional equipment (as one would when using a travel system jogger/car seat). Although they are popular these days, I&rsquo;ve never used a car seat/stroller with retractable wheels, so I can&rsquo;t comment on how this one compares to others. Upon first attempts, I found that it was kind of difficult to maneuver, and the ability to extend the wheels after removing from the car seat base especially felt kind of &ldquo;sticky.&rdquo; I&rsquo;m sure it will become easier with time, but I find myself getting frustrated with it, even after some practice. I do like that you can leave the wheels behind in the car seat base, so you don&rsquo;t have to always have them attached to the seat in case they&rsquo;re dirty or just to make the seat lighter. Installing the base was fairly straightforward. I have had several other car seats in the past, and have definitely found many to be difficult to install. This one was much more intuitive than most and was pretty easy overall. I really like the seat itself, the cushioning is very nice and the canopy is soft and blocks a lot of light and is easy to pull out. It also is not likely to pinch little fingers, which has been a worry for me in the past with bulkier canopies. I love that it comes with safety features connected to bluetooth. I did test out the buckle sensor, and it seemed to work well. It does bring some peace of mind to know that the car seat has alerts built in to prevent certain car seat safety concerns. Overall, I think this is a good choice. It appears very high quality and safe. I don't even know where to begin with this car seat. I absolutely love that it has a no rethread harness (such a perk), the car seat has a great hand feel and it plush in all the right places. My son HATES riding in his previous car seat and was really comfortable in this seat! The hood on the car seat is also top of the class. It comes down really far and there is even a zippered section you can unzip to have a mesh panel and increase the coverage of the canopy. The technology in the chest clip is what makes this car seat stand out above the rest. The chest clip comes with an app, it tells you literally everything you need to know about your babe in the car seat like how long they have been in the seat. Trust me on this, it's an incredible feature that I wish I had with my first borns car seat. I also really like that the car seat does not have to always be attached to the stroller base. It can come off and look like a normal car seat OR it can have the stroller base. It's really easy to transition between the two scenarios. The car seat comes with wheel protectors for the car base so if you have dirty tires it does not dirty your car seat. It also comes with a bag that attaches to the front of the car seat. It's a bit cumbersome to use...but it's a nice feature if you want it. The handle bar extends up for the stroller use. I am 5'8' and it was slightly low for me, but not bad. My husband is 6'4&quot; and kicked the car seat when walking, the handle is too low for him to comfortably use while strolling. Overall, this car seat is LOADED with features. The item quickly pairs with a downloadable app, and once paired tells you if the baby's carseat buckle has come opened, if the temperature in the car is too hot or cold for baby's safety, and even if the baby has been in their seat for too long and needs a break. This is such an awesome idea that I have never seen before - imagine how great it will be for summer road trips to ensure baby is safe and comfortable! It did take me a few times to really get it because there are two handles on the back end and I kept forgetting which was to open the stroller wheels and which was to close as they are not the same. The base was very easy to install into the car. I think the sensorsafe chest clip will be extremely useful for me since it&rsquo;s easy to lose track of time when out with an active toddler. The sensorsafe clip has great features such as alerting you if the car is too hot, the clip becomes unlatched and if the baby has been in the car seat too long! The storage bag comes in handy when you&rsquo;re out shopping, it&rsquo;s a good size that can fit a large diaper bag. This comes with an awesome safety feature that sends alerts via Bluetooth warning of unbuckled seat belt or temperature. The installation was easy and instructions were clear. I do want to mention that the wheels can only be detached when on the base. Folding and extending the stroller is very easy with a push of a button. The only thing is it can be a bit on the heavier side with wheels attached. It is so easy to transition from the car to stroller mode without have to wake your little one. I just practiced a couple of times without baby to make sure I had it down. The car seat itself is very comfortable for my son that used to scream in his other, very expensive car seat. It is very plush and keeps him at an ideal angle. I also love the sensor safe chest clip living in a hot area it will alert me if he is getting too warm in the seat, among other great features. The fact that you can detach just the car seat and don&rsquo;t have to bring the dirty wheels inside is also a great plus and lightens the load for you to carry inside. Installing the anti-rebound base into the car was super easy and I was able to get it very tightly secured. The quick start guide and Evenflo videos are extremely helpful and throughly explain how to use the seat. The included bag and cup holder are a nice touch since most other similar systems make you buy those as extras. The only cons I had were that its handle is a little bit short for me, but I&rsquo;m almost 6&rsquo; so that is understandable. It also is heavy, but that is also to be expected since it also contains the stroller and you don&rsquo;t have to tote it around for a long time anyway. The seat itself gave off an odor upon taking it out of the box. You definitely need to let the seat air out a day or two before use. Overall, this is a great option for on-the-go parents that don&rsquo;t want to lug a seat and stroller from car to car. It makes having an infant with older kids so much easier. I would recommend this to all parents in similar situations. I wish this was around when my older two were little. We&rsquo;ve never had a baby item like this and it&rsquo;s pretty amazing. It easily shifts between car seat and stroller mode and will be even easier for me once I&rsquo;m not 9 months pregnant/healing postpartum. With the wheels attached, it is a bit heavy to lift into the car to clip into the base but not having to have a big heavy stroller in the trunk to attach the infant car seat to will make things a lot easier. I love the adjustable handle so my 6&rsquo; tall husband can easily push the stroller too. Because the handle is adjustable, it is not quite as study as some other strollers we&rsquo;ve had/used, but it will work just fine. I really like the attachable bag because we always have things we want to bring with us on walks. The canopy is such a nice fabric and I love the zipper feature so I can see in if I want to. There aren&rsquo;t a lot of flaws to this stroller other than having to put the cup holder and storage bag on each time if you want to use them. If you don&rsquo;t get the handle completely clicked in then it won&rsquo;t let you move it either but that&rsquo;s an easy correction. Those were the only downfalls to this versatile stroller. The car seat has a safety sensor that pairs with an app as well. Some people love all of those techy things, it is very cool if you&rsquo;re worried about that. Let me tell you, this car seat stroller combo is a game changer. It is so classy looking, I love the vegan leather trim and neutral colors. The padding is soft yet sturdy, my baby is so cozy! There is also more room in this seat than others, I can see myself using it for much longer as I know baby won&rsquo;t be squished for a while. The car seat install was amazing, so easy with the bubble level on the base! We don&rsquo;t need another base to switch back and forth between cars because it&rsquo;s just that easy to install. As far as safety goes I have no worries, and I am a car seat safety freak. The shell super protective and all of the various adjustments to keep it safe as baby grows are all very easy to understand and adjust even while baby is in the seat! There is no guesswork! The SensorSafe buckle is really handy, my smart watch buzzes when his seat clips or clips so I know he&rsquo;s safe. If my toddlers happen to unclip him while I&rsquo;m loading up the car and get a notification and can fix it right away. It also says the temperature which I think is really cool. The best part of this car seat stroller combo is that you can pop the wheels right out for the easiest transition EVER out of the car! Before, I would pray my baby would stay asleep once the car stopped and I&rsquo;d have to transfer the seat from the car and into the travel system&hellip; it never worked. But this makes getting out and about a breeze! There are only two levers on the back so it&rsquo;s very easy to use and you get the hang of it really quickly. The only tricky part is it was a bit &ldquo;sticky&rdquo; at first, probably just from it being the first use, so we use our leg to kinda sweep the wheels down as it folds. The only consideration I would give before telling a friend to buy this is it is quite heavy with the car seat and stroller, so it does take a bit of strength to hoist it into the base when the car seat is on the stroller. We are in and out of the car a lot, going into stores, to the park, etc., and being able to quickly release the wheels so that the car seat converts to a stroller makes trips much easier and frees my hands quite a bit. The con with converting the stroller back to a car seat is that collapsing the wheels is much harder and the wheels have to be turned a specific way before you can collapse it, it can be a struggle. It is a bit heavy with the wheels connected, but another great feature is being able to disconnect the car seat from the wheels when needed. While convenience is important to me, safety is even more important. I like the ability for the chest strap to connect to my phone to alert me if it isn&rsquo;t connected properly. I also find tightening the straps to be incredibly easy and smooth on this car seat, with other car seats I&rsquo;ve had I have to pull quite a bit to get the straps to tighten. Being able to extend the handle when in stroller mode is also easy. The only other complaint I have is that the sun shade is too tall to pull it completely down when the handle is in the lowest position, you have to push it under and I worry that doing that often over time will ruin it. The ease and convenience of it are necessary for a mom with multiple children - and I wish I had something like this with my first! Everything arrives nicely in one box and easy to pull out and unpack. I love the look of it with the brown leather handle and the canopy is so nice and sleek looking. The canopy has a zipper to extend as well which is really nice to provide extra shade for baby. It looks very high end. It took a little bit of playing with the handles to fold down/put up but once we got the hang of it, it was easy to do. Once folded down, it clicks in easily to the base and from there you can take the whole thing out or unsnap just the car seat part, leaving the wheels in the car. I love this feature for times that you cannot bring a stroller in or need to just carry a lighter seat. There may be times I don&rsquo;t want the wheels attached. I also love the handlebar heights and knowing it goes high enough for my 6&rsquo;3&rdquo; husband to feel comfortable pushing it, and my 3 and 6 year old can put it down and push it easily as well. I liked it way more than i had even anticipated. Taking it out of the box, if feels like there should be more to it than there is and installing the base was a breeze. Typically it's hard to get traditional bases in tight enough and with the the gold shift dual ride it was pretty simple. The spots where the straps go through to click in gives you the proper leverage to pull it to get it tight enough and not worry. Then you have the blue latch that holds down the strap that tightens it a hair more. On top of the base there also a bubble that helps shows you if the base needs to be adjusted wether it needs to be higher or lower etc. Putting the car seat and stroller combo in the base is easy as well, it clips in quickly and is super easy to put in and take out. Being able to quickly choose between the stroller or just the infant carrier is pretty amazing. Personally, i don't ever take out just the infant carrier unless we're home, otherwise i always take out the stroller. The stroller portion itself is quick to set up. One pull of a handle and the wheels pop out quickly. Two buttons later and the handle is in position and extended. The only difficulty I've ever had is putting the wheels up. I just can't seem to do it smooth enough without jarring the car seat in some way or fashion. The extras that come with the car seat are great to have but I'm not sure how often I'll be using the bag portion of it as it's pretty deep and low to the ground where as typically I'm carrying my diaper bag anyways. The cupholder however is used frequently. The Bluetooth function on the chest clip is definitely a neat idea but it constantly makes my phone go off. Typically my husband and i go everywhere together and a lot of times one of us will stay in the car with the kids, but when i walk away from the car my phone goes off, then it goes off again a few minutes later, then it sends alerts to whoever is in the family group. You just pull the car seat out of the car and flip one little switch and the wheels pop out. It's lightweight enough as a stroller to carry it up the stairs and in/out of the car. It's small and portable enough to wheel around ur living room or out to your backyard and deck when your child refuses to nap while sitting still. It saves you space in the trunk as you do not have any stroller base to store there. My husband who is decently tall felt the handlebar was a comfortable height. There's also many small details that make it feel like a luxury item such as the leather details on the handle bar, the extending sunshade which can zipper open for greater coverage and the overall sleek appearance. The base was easy to install and the car seat snaps simply and easily into it. My husband brought it into the hospital to pick up me and our new born baby, and all the nurses were impressed by it as well. We were able to simply and easily roll the baby out while carrying our hospital bag. My baby spent an hour outside today on a walk in this stroller and was perfectly comfortable and not at all sweaty when we removed him. This is my favorite feature as it makes doctor appts, dining out, shipping trips etc a breeze. I never have to disturb my sleeping baby. The car seat comes with additional safety features such as the sensor safe on the chest strap. This connects to an app on your phone which will give you notifications that your baby is still in their seat or if they have been in the seat too long. I think this feature would help prevent a baby from being left in a car as it will send notifications to all family members attached to the account as well. The car seat is well made and good quality that comes with the Evenflo name. I did have a few cons I have found while using this seat. One is that there is not currently any additional bases for sale right now. Which means transferring the base between cars which is a pain. The car seat base is wider than most and the seat itself is heavier with the wheels. However you can take just the seat off the wheels while it&rsquo;s in its base and carry it like a normal infant seat which is nice for coming into the house. The last con I have found is that the seat can be a bit finicky at times when trying to get it on and off the base. Especially when trying to take it off the wheels. The buttons don&rsquo;t always release the seat and it takes a few tries sometimes. This isn&rsquo;t a huge issue, but can be annoying at times.
