His torso is too long so his shoulders rest right up against the head rest (which cannot be adjusted or removed). It was especially disappointing because I ordered it to our hotel we were traveling to in order to have a booster seat on arrival. We've had to make other arrangements for him. The other seat we bought fits our daughter who is 43&quot; tall and about 42 lbs. If your child is over this height, is suggest getting a booster without a back, or a different high back booster. It looks sleek, the fabric feels high-quality and there is enough cushioning in the back and bottom for a comfortable ride, always. Two things I do NOT love are 1) that the cup holders need to be screwed in in order not to fall out (what parent has time to remove and replace screws every time they want to take out the cup holders to wash them??) and 2) just how complicated taking off the seat cover is. I want to be able to wash it more frequently but the seat belt loops under the seat itself so you need to remove the seat belt from under the fabric and remove buckles from the strap in order to do so, ON TOP of having to remove the belt from the back material. Other car seats I own and have owned are a lot more practical in this respect. If this was an infant seat that I had to wash more often, I would probably save myself the headache and get a different seat. It is nice, lightweight and super easy to install. I like its convertible five-point booster that offers options for growing kids to use the same seat for many years. This can also be used as a traditional booster seat. It comes with the two cup holders which fit almost all kinds of sippy cups. The shoulder belt automatically adjusts to the kid's height and doesn't need to be manually done. The latch can be used for the child up to 110 pounds. Another good feature is the central, front access to harness adjuster which really is an easy way to adjust the child's harness for the right snug fit. The fabric used in this is of high quality and the seat cover can be easily taken off for washing. I Iike its sporty look and the three-color combination stands out when I compare this car seat with others in the market. I am very happy with this purchase and hope this will last many more years. I like the gray color because it doesn't get dirty easily. However, when it comes time to use it as a seatbelt positioning booster it does not work. The clip that is supposed to hold the seatbelt in position is much too small, and the seatbelt slides out of it extremely easily and is then in front of the child&rsquo;s face. This was actually a replacement car seat for one that had the same exact problem. However, I've assembled the Maestro and adjusted the straps according the manual. My daughter says it's comfortable enough with the padding, but she does complain that the straps hurt her. I'm not sure if it's because it's brand new so the straps just need to be &quot;broken in&quot; or if they'll always be this rigid, but they are definitely very hard and I can see how they would be uncomfortable for her. I'll probably mess around with them to see if they become more flexible over time since there are no harness covers that work with this specific car seat. I like that the car seat comes with 2 cup holders, and they seem deeper than the cup holders she has in her old car seat so her drinks are less likely to tip over and fall out of the cup holder.
