The handle has a nice grip on it and can also be used for a stand while your child sits in the car seat. It is made very well, sturdy and durable. The cloth material on the seat and shade is also stitched nicely. I have not had any problems with the seat, just adjusting the straps to begin with was kind of challenging at first. The padding also is removable for washing when needed. Another thing I had noticed was the base release button is kind of low so I had to struggle with that a little bit to get it out of the base. It is a very durable car seat and works great once everything is properly placed how it should be. They truly mean it when they say ultra lightweight. I installed this in grandma's car since it is so lightweight for her to carry in and out. I love the full coverage canopy that can be pulled over to shade baby's eyes which is especially loved because my little one has blue eyes. The fabric is wipable and water proof which makes it easy to clean but may be hot in the summer months. It can be used with or without a base which is convenient for grandma. The disadvantages of the carseat are that when in the car you have to bring the handle to the forward position which is one more step to remember when putting baby in the car. That definitely decreases the convenience factor. It was also hard to find where to clip the canopy in since the manual doesn't indicate this at all. Also the rethreading for moving up the car seat to the next level is very difficult. One of my favorite features is the extended canopy. We currently have an Evenflo Pivot single-to-double travel system whose canopy is always a bit shy of sheltering her eyes from the sun, so it was nice how far the canopy on this seat extends. Another plus is how sturdy the seatbelts are. These are adjustable with three different configurations for as your baby grows. Also, the car seat clicks into the base easily enough. The materials are easy to wipe down if there are spills. The seat is pretty spacious, making it much easier to get our daughter in and out. Now let's move onto the cons. My husband and I were really surprised at the weight limit of this seat given the size of it. It would be nice if the seat was compatible with our Evenflo Pivot stroller. The final (and biggest) con for me are the grooves in the handle, which do not make for a comfortable feel as you're carrying your child. I would have much preferred one smooth handle. My baby just reached 20 pounds. Therefore, having a light car seat to help carry him was nice. The colors of this car seat were very attractive and crisp. The length of the seat was also nice because my son is taller (27.5 inches at 5 months) so I felt as though he had a lot of room. Furthermore, the canopy goes very far down which I love! The canopy length keeps the sun out of my son&rsquo;s face no matter the direction. However, there were aspects I think there could be some improvements made. For instance, the weight capacity only goes up to 22 pounds. I wish that this could be improved to be able to keep the seat longer for the child. Also, the seat belt lock is a little awkward since you have to hold both sides of the clasp and make sure they are aligned before inserting it. It is pretty sturdy. It could definitely use a different base system as the car seat was tricky to put in the base after the base was in the car. The cushions are comfortable. The straps are easy to move and adjust. The latch safety harness seemed to work well. With no issues securing and releasing the harness. My biggest issue with this was the base. The latch system is beyond stressful. The Evenflo Nuture Max is a great carseat for a good price. The carseat is very light in weight which is extremely helpful for caring. It is very light, not bulky at all, which makes it much easier to carry. The pattern is the best part! I love how bold the coloring is. The fabric is modern, colorful, and still manages to be comfortable for the baby. The only small problem I have is putting in the base. It has the clip system which clips into the metal loops in the seats of your car. I prefer that system over using the seatbelt but the clips can be hard to use. I leave the base in so I only have to take it out every once in a while if my husband needs the base. Not a huge deal but I do wish there was an easier way to unclip the base from the car. Overall, I&rsquo;m extremely pleased with this car seat! Fun, bright pattern and easy to carry. Well for us, one definite thing we were looking for is a spare infant carrier for traveling/rental cars and grandparents to use and the Nuture Max did not disappoint! Once we are able to travel again, we plan to bring this car seat on the plane to have a comfortable and secure place for our second to sit on his own as well. It takes a ton of patience and extra effort to adjust shoulder straps. Unfortunately, it does not have a reclining seat or base. Also, the maximum weight and height is 22 pounds and 29 inches, so you may have to find a new rear-facing car seat by the time your child is a year old. You can install the seat without a base if you need, and it is FAA approved for air travel. I have always loved chevron print and that's the print on this seat. I like the handle as it isn't really uncomfortable to carry like a lot of car seats. Also it is pretty light weight considering how heavy some can be. Install is super easy whether you install with or without the base. Just make sure you're installing it correctly. This is also a rear facing seat only. I just like to point that out. The only down side is it only goes up to 22 pounds so if you have bigger babies you may not get a lot of life out of this seat. With these types of car seats I don't look to use it for a very long time because once my kiddos grow out of this bucket style seat I move them straight to a convertible seat (still rear facing of course.) My favorite feature about it is between how lightweight it is and how far the visor comes down. My child is extremely chubby so she has enough room for her chubby thighs but not too much room to make it unsafe. We spend a lot of time outside so the visor comes down so far. I have never had a visor come down like this one. The base buckled in really easy and easy to click in and out and it being lightweight helped with that also. Other good things I really like is the easy clean material and the designs ! The only things I dont like is how difficult it is to change the straps up when shes growing taller. Luckily dont have to do it too often it's just a pain in the butt. But overall actually extremely satisfied with it. It would be perfect for air travel since it is so lightweight. The handle moves with ease and my favorite feature is that the canopy comes down very low creating lots of coverage for baby. The car seat also snaps into the base without a hassle. The colors are also very cute and the insert comes out to wash if necessary. If you absolutely can&rsquo;t afford something better, it&rsquo;ll work just fine. However, it is missing some key convenience features that would make it much easier to use. To readjust the harness, you have to completely rethread the straps, and it is not an easy job to get the metal pieces beck through the hole after adjusting it. Also, the button/handle to release the seat from the base is down low, and it is very difficult to get it in and out if you don&rsquo;t have much room between your car seat and the front seat. I definitely prefer my SafeMax car seat over this one because it has better features that makes it easier to use. This seat is light weight, so that is one thing it has going for it, and it is very nice looking.
