This item is great for one infant or toddler, or for one infant and one toddler. I loved the look of the stroller, although I wished the wheels had some more weight to them to make them feel sturdier. The stroller and infant car seat were very lightweight and easy to push/carry around. The easy snap in and snap out modular system made it easy to use on-the-go and to switch between configurations at any point needed. The infant car seat was simple to install and easy enough to switch between my car and the babies grandparents car as needed too! Its lightweight l quality made it ideal for grandpa and grandma to carry the infant car seat around unlike other ones we have tried in the past. I had a few favorite features of this item including the &ldquo;included&rdquo; cup holder and the user friendly (for ANY shoe) flip flop brake. It was simple to push down or up and ideal for use with any type of shoe! I also loved the large sun shade cover for the infant car seat and included toddler seat. It provided lots of shade for the kiddos and kept them sheltered from the sun and wind. Overall, I would recommend this stroller as a budget friendly, safe, double stroller. The packaging was very efficient. The box included the entire stroller system, toddler seat, car seat, and accessories packed in a very tight manner not to waste any space. I was able to put together the entire stroller system in under 15 minutes. It was very intuitive as I tried to put it together and play with it first before reading about all the possible configurations. This ease of setup and use is great if a grandmom or second caregiver is borrowing it without a manual and directions. Accessories such as a bottom basket/bin and a drink holder were included as well. The car seat carrier came with a base, allowing an easy clip in and out when you reach your destination. The car seat could either be installed via a seatbelt or the anchorage system. I utilized the anchorage system and it was an easy install. There is a color recline indicator to assess for safety of install which I appreciated. I love the softness of the infant insert material in the car seat, but the majority of the material in the car seat seems a bit rough and am worried it may cause a little friction or sweating from my infant when used in the summer. I also did not love the chest clip, as it was difficult to open and close. The perk of the clip is it would be safe for infant Houdini's that often get themselves unstrapped: however I struggled to quickly open and close the buckle. Otherwise, the car seat was functional, safe, well padded, and easy to install and check for safety. The anti- rebound bar is another pertinent safety feature. The travel system easily converts from a single to a double stroller with a simple click of a button. My favorite part of the system is that no adapters or additional parts are needed - which is great if you&rsquo;re switching the system between caregiver cars. Parents have enough to remember when leaving the house so it is a perk that the stroller has this &ldquo;built in&rdquo; feature. The Pivot Xpand is an easy open and close for getting in and out of the car and both the car seat and toddler seat clip in easily and quickly. There are so many configurations for the seating with this system, it would be great for newborn twins through growing siblings. The seats can face the caregiver or out to the surroundings, based on child preference. The toddler seats convert to carriages with 3 easy snaps, which is amazing if going somewhere for a lengthy period and the infant needs a safe sleep surface. The seat converts to a flat bassinet or carriage with a canopy without needing an additional piece of equipment. The canopies are adjustable so as the child grows it can be adjusted to provide for additional height. There is a mesh window for checking on the child, and the footrest is adjustable for multiple positions to baby comfort. The handlebar is also adjustable to caregiver height. The system came with a bumper bar which is nice to utilize for infant toys as well. It&rsquo;s easy to take on and off, but it&rsquo;s not built in, so this in an additional piece of equipment you would have to remember to bring with you. The cup holder was an included accessory which is great, however it does seem to be a little unstable. The location is a little lower than I would ideally like it or than is typically seen on a parent console; however it appears to be more out of reach for the child as well which could be a bonus. The system&rsquo;s canopies appear a bit flimsy. It is great that they are height adjustable, but they seemed a little less durable than I would have liked when adjusting them. They appear to provide good shade and protection, but I would be hesitant to adjust them often. Overall the ride is smooth on both street, grass, and dirt, however when used as a double stroller with a toddler in the bottom seat, it is a little difficult to get up uneven terrain or small edges of a curb. The system folds easily and quickly and is light to lift into the trunk of a vehicle. My children were comfortable in multiple configurations of this travel system and I loved all of the options provided. My favorite part of the system, as mentioned previously, was that no additional adapters were needed, and that the stroller can be used in both toddler or carriage mode. It is compact and fits easily through a standard doorway with 2 children. It is not the sturdiest travel system I have encountered, but it appears comfortable, safe, adjustable, and easy to put together and use. It has a large height and weight range allowing it to be used for a growing family for several years. It comes with everything you would need for your LO (and potentially even a second LO down the road) right out of the box: infant car seat, easy install base, stroller and toddler seat. I have two kids (an infant and a toddler) and it&rsquo;s great that this system comes with everything I would need for both of them for about a year. One of my favorite features of the Pivot Xpand is that it has so many different configurations. I can face my LO toward me or let her look out at the world around her. I can leave her in the infant seat and attach it right to the stroller if she&rsquo;s sleeping or put her in the toddler seat to give her practice sitting since it reclines. I love the fact that the toddler seat also transforms into a bassinet. My LO loves napping in it and switching is as easy as 3 side release buckles. I find this is normally an add on for other brands. The fabric is a little stiff, but that could be because it&rsquo;s new. My toddler said it was a comfy seat, so that was a plus. The next thing I love is how easy and accessible the storage basket is. It is quite large and I find there is never an issue grabbing my diaper bag out or putting it back in. The cup holder is also nice, but I would really love it if the toddler seat had a tray instead of a belly bar. I like that the seat also has a very large canopy and it provides enough cover for almost any situation. The stroller fold is a little tough, the buttons kind of stick a little, but the fact that it stands on its own is a lifesaver. The stroller is also very lightweight but still feels sturdy. I wish the fold was more compact since the stroller and the seats take up most of my trunk, it leaves very little room for anything else. I also wish the stroller was easier to push. I found it difficult to navigate using one hand and that you really had to steer with both hands and a lot of effort. My husband didn&rsquo;t have this issue though, so it probably depends on the person. The infant car seat is super lightweight which makes carrying it around a breeze. However, I don&rsquo;t like that you have to rethread the harness whenever you need to adjust it. One of the things that I am most afraid of is not putting my LO in properly and having to thread the harness isn&rsquo;t particularly easy, which makes me think I&rsquo;m going to make a mistake. I also wish the car seat came with covers for the harness to provide my LO with a little more comfort. I felt like she just sat weird in the seat and looked uncomfortable. The easy install base was pretty simple to install in my car and made for getting the infant seat in and out quick and simple. Overall, I think this travel system is a great buy. It has a lot of options and features that come at a premium price for other similar systems. I like the versatility of the Pivot Xpand and that it grows with my family. My absolute favorite feature of this stroller is how easy the seat transforms from a toddler seat to a pram-bassinet without any additional tools or pieces. Within seconds you can change the seat to a flat lying bassinet without having to worry about storing extra pieces anywhere. The same is true in transforming the stroller from a double to single. It just so easy to move between all the different configurations. My other favorite features are the telescoping handlebar and the flip-flop friendly footbrake. My partner and I are both tall so these are must haves! We also love how light weight the frame was making it very easy to fold up and throw in the back of the car. I would say the look of the travel system is on par with other top selling systems. Overall, I am thrilled with this travel system. The stroller was easy to set up and went together quickly and easily without having to read the instructions first. The car seat is light weight and the base installs quickly and easily. Also, the padding included in the car seat helps smaller infants sit more snuggly. The anti-rebound bar helps limit the motion in the car seat base, which I appreciate. The travel system looks nice and sleek, but not top of the line. That said, the value and features included in this travel system are impressive. I love that it can quickly convert to a double stroller, if desired, without needing extra attachments. My favorite feature is the ability of the stroller seat to transition quickly to a bassinet. Again, no additional parts are required and yet it doesn't compromise the seat in any way. Once out of the box, it was easy to assemble, and I was happy that it came with a cupholder and seat bar. It is lightweight yet sturdy, and super simple to switch between the various combinations (forward facing and parent facing) for each the car seat, stroller seat, and second seat. I love the features like the built-in brackets for the seats and car seat that just pop up from the frame, no need for extra accessories that could get lost. My favorite feature is how the seat converts into a bassinet simply by unclipping two buckles! Amazing! With my baby, it was important to have a bassinet, but storing another item takes up a lot of space. Also, when we're on the go, it is convenient to switch between bassinet and seat, whether for baby once awake or for my older toddler. My only concerns are the weight distribution with children that have a larger age gap. When a larger child sits in the front, it is more difficult to push and steer. It's easier to have the weight on the back wheels, but then the larger child is on top, which isn't ideal. For most families with two children that have an age gap, the older child will walk more often, so it's likely not much of an issue. I am interested in seeing how the wheels will hold up over time. Overall, I am so excited to use this sleek, modular stroller. The car seat is also easy to install in the car, and simple to switch between the car and stroller with the built-in clips on the stroller, and the base for the car. It was really easy to install the base into my car. I was able to buckle into our captain seat. The car seat is able to attach to the base very easily, but I do wish that it would make a clicking noise so I know it's fully locked in. The release button is easy and not difficult to maneuver. The car seat attaches to the stroller system very easily, and I can quickly change between stroller and lifting car seat out to attach the base. The infant car seat itself did seem kind of compact two car seats I have used in the past. The carry bar is pretty difficult to adjust. It feels stiff. I do like the infant padded insert, but to adjust the straps for looseness when putting the baby into the car seat is very difficult. It doesn't seem to loosen fully for ease of getting baby in and out. However, to change straps as a baby grows it was very easy to do. I am hoping once I no longer use the padded infant insert, It will be easier to put my baby in and out of the straps. The chest buckle is a little difficult to unsnap. Positives of this is if you were to get into an accident the baby is definitely not going anywhere. The stroller is great and easy to use. We pushed it in the snow, and had no difficulties on our outdoor walk. the ease of moving it from a single to a double stroller is awesome and will definitely be convenient for our family. However, the cup holder is a total fail on our walk it kept swaying and my drink fell out several times. Despite my cons and difficulties, I will continue to use this travel system. It is so thoughtfully designed, easy to use, and has some amazing innovations. Right out of the box, the stroller is mostly assembled. All I had to do was attach a few parts, and we were ready to go. It took me less than 20 minutes to put together, even with two toddlers running around. One of the biggest innovations of this stroller is that there are no attachments needed. I can switch this stroller from single to double or move between different configurations in seconds. Another feature that is really special is the ability to convert the toddler seat to a carriage. Not having to purchase a separate carriage saves money and means I have one less baby item taking up space when it's not in use. It&rsquo;s absolutely genius and I love it. I appreciate the inline configuration which keeps this stroller easy to maneuver, and the extra large storage basket that feels like a bottomless pit compared to some of the small ones I&rsquo;ve had in the past. I also really like the reflective trim on the canopies as an extra little bit of safety when we are out walking in the evening. It is nicely done and does not interfere with the sleek design of the stroller in any way. From start to finish this is one of the easiest, most versatile, and most innovative stroller systems I have ever used. I am loving the stroller; however, I don&rsquo;t like the car seat quite as much for a few reasons. Pros of the stroller: the black is so classy and stylish! It glides along the floor very smoothly so it&rsquo;s easy and fun to push around. Once I read the instructions and practiced a few times it&rsquo;s really simple to operate&mdash;switching between single and double, folding it up and down, and adjusting the handle bar. It also has a large basket underneath which is a must-have as a mom of three! There are multiple ways to set up the seats and the canopy on the toddler seat is adjustable so even my 3- and 5-year-olds can ride if needed. Cons of the stroller: while it is meant to hold up to 55 lbs, the toddler seat is small and my 3.5 year old who is small for his age, weighing around 32 lbs, can&rsquo;t sit very comfortably in it because the seat is so small. The foot rest on the toddler seat is adjustable but I haven&rsquo;t been able to find a setting that fits his legs comfortably. Pros of the car seat: I love the sleek design and my baby seems to be comfortable in it. The base was fairly easy to install in the car. Cons of the car seat: the handle wiggles slightly even when it is in the carrying position. I immediately noticed the button on front buckle is a little hard to push and feels like a &ldquo;cheap plastic&rdquo; to me. Whenever I push the button to release it from the car seat base and stroller it gets stuck slightly and I have to push it back and forth before it comes loose; this can be a hassle in my vehicle as it&rsquo;s an SUV so the seats are higher and it takes more strength to remove the car seat from the base. The buttons used to put the handle up and down also feel &ldquo;cheap&rdquo; and their placement is awkward for me as I try to quickly adjust it. Every time I try to attach the car seat to the stroller it takes me a minute or two because it&rsquo;s not clear exactly where the pieces should fit so it clicks securely in place. I did find it to be heavy and somewhat large when folded up, but when comparing it to other similar models from other brands, it was similar, and just part of the trade-off that you get when buying a double-ish stroller like this. The cup holder isn't my favorite, even though it works pretty well-- I just like something a little more sturdy and something that can fit large bottles like Yetis. Pros: -The overall look and many of the features of the stroller and car seat were modern and functional. -Some features of the stroller that I appreciated included: &bull; Extremely easy to assemble the stroller right out of the box with clear instructions. Only needs one person to assemble it and can be done in less than 10 minutes. &bull; Being a mother to an infant, in addition to nannying another infant and toddler, having access to a double stroller, especially one that is easy to convert, is a game changer for outings. Having experience with other double strollers, I would have to say that this one is by far the easiest to convert to and from single to double stroller. There are no additional adapters or pieces (besides purchasing an additional toddler stroller seat if needed) in order to convert the stroller from a single to double stroller. All of the pieces are built in to the stroller and easy to add either the provided toddler seat or car seat. &bull; It seems that any seat configuration (toddler seat(s), car seat, or both) is possible with this stroller, which is SO nice! &bull; The toddler seat of the stroller was spacious with comfort padding on the shoulder straps. &bull; The storage basket on the bottom of the stroller had plenty of space for a diaper bag, in addition to a few other smaller items. &bull; The stroller canopy extends pretty far down, blocking the sun out of your child&rsquo;s face. &bull; The stroller handle extends up and down for the comfort of the person pushing the stroller. &bull; When folded up as a single stroller with the toddler seat attached, it fits in the backseat of my Kia Sportage. Although not extremely compact, it takes up about 2/3 of the trunk space in my midsize SUV. -Some features of the car seat that I liked included: &bull; How lightweight it is. &bull; The sleek, clean design, which is comparable in looks to some of the upscale infant car seats. &bull; The infant insert for added comfort for newborns. &bull; Fairly easy to install the car seat base with instructions. &bull; The anti-rebound bar on the base adds extra safety to the car seat in the event of an accident. Cons: -Some features on the stroller: &bull; The provided cup holder was quite wobbly. The 30oz and 40oz water bottles I use continuously kept falling over in the cup holder. If you were to use smaller, leakproof or sealed water bottles or children&rsquo;s water bottles, it may not be as big of an issue. &bull; The paint on the bottom metal part of the footrest on the toddler seat easily gets scrapped up when folded and stored on hard surfaces (like concrete garage). &bull; When the stroller is folded up, there is no easy place to hold it to lift it or carry it around one handed. If you are mainly folding it up to store somewhere or put in and out of your car, it&rsquo;s not a big deal, but if you would need to carry it around for any other reason, it would be a bit more difficult. &bull; It doesn&rsquo;t ride as smoothly compared to some other brands, but I would say it rates in the middle for ride comfort as far as strollers go. -I don&rsquo;t have any cons for the car seat/base. Overall, I believe this travel system is great for the value. My favorite feature, by far, is the ease of converting the stroller from single to double (and back to single again). The first thing that struck me about this stroller is the variety of different ways in which you can set it up. Many other tandem double strollers have only a few ways you can assemble the car seat and an additional seat for a young child. As a mom of four young children, it is very important to me to be able to set up my stroller in a variety of different ways, depending on the plan for the day. This stroller allows you to put the car seat on the top and the bottom, and face the seats both towards the parent and outward. The number of combinations is almost endless - 22 in all! And it&rsquo;s so easy to go from one configuration to the next. Another great feature that I liked with this stroller is the fact that you don&rsquo;t need any additional adapters for the stroller when using the car seat or the toddler seat. The last thing you want to look for when you were late running out the door is the correct adapter. Another thing that is very important to me when it comes to car seats and strollers is the ability to wash the fabrics. As anyone with young kids no car seat and strollers can get super dirty super fast. These fabrics are super easy to both remove and wash. They also have a high-quality feel to them and are aesthetically pleasing. While the travel system does not come with a bassinet, the seat that comes with it fully recline, so it can be used for an infant in the place of the bassinet. Another must have when it comes to looking for a stroller for a family with young children is a large basket and this one delivers. You can use the stroller when going grocery shopping and fill up the bottom without even needing a cart. Once you have used a stroller with a basket like this, you will not want to go back to using the tiny baskets that you see with other strollers. I also really like how easily you can fold and store the stroller,l and the fact that it can stand on its own without needing to rest it against the wall. This is not a small, lightweight stroller - it is a workhorse that can help you when you need to do errands, are towing multiple children, and have to bring all the gear that requires. One thing to note is that while stroller does have big all terrain wheels designed to make it a smooth ride wherever you might take it but the push wasn&rsquo;t as smooth as I was expecting or would have liked. Car seat safety is another important matter for me with young children. One of the things that I like the most about this car seat is the anti-rebound bar. Although these are not &ldquo;required&rdquo; to meet safety standards in the United States, the way they are in Europe, anti-rebound bars are extremely important and make car seats infinitely safer. I appreciate how thoughtfully designed the stroller is, particularly how the bassinet and toddler seat are all-in-one (vs having two separate components requiring them to be swapped in/out and stored in the house when not in use). I also SUPER love that you do not need to buy or attach any separate adapters (e.g. lower adapters, upper adapters) in order to convert the stroller into a double stroller. Instead, the lower clips just rotate up from the basket. When the lower clips are not in use, you can fold them back into the basket which makes for a very streamlined look - such a brilliant design! Further, the basket is quite large and seems really durable (I even grocery shop with my stroller as the cart!) The brake is nice and large and thus really easy to use; it can even be used with a flip flop or a less supportive shoe (or even a chunky winter boot!) Overall, opening/closing/locking the stroller feels really solid and everything provides a sturdy or reassuring &quot;click&quot; when you click the parts into place or are folding/unfolding. It was generally pretty easy to assemble. The stroller is a bit heavy to lift in/out of the car, but it's not a major issue and it is expected (I could always detach the seat and lift it in two steps if needed). Though it took me a while to get used to and I referred to the manual often in the beginning, moving between different configurations is fairly simple. The infant car seat is easy to install. I like the design of it for my baby. The base is a lot longer than ones I've used in the past, which can be tricky if your car is low on space. Cons: The instructions were pretty vague when trying to assemble the travel system. The baby carrier is really awkward to snap into the stroller. It sometimes takes a few tries to click into place, which is awkward being out and about in a parking lot trying to snap the baby carrier in correctly. One of the biggest flaws that I encountered was that the stroller cannot be folded when the toddler seat is attached. Having 4 very young kids, I use strollers when I run errands. It&rsquo;s so much easier to run in and out of stores when I can just wheel some of the kids around, but with this travel system, I had to completely take the toddler seat off the front to be folded down each time I loaded it back into my trunk. It&rsquo;s awkward and just another step that makes running around a bit more difficult. However, if you plan to use the stroller primarily at home and &ldquo;park&rdquo; it in a garage or house, not being folded, it is absolutely fantastic. My favorite thing overall about the travel system is how extremely light and easy to carry this infant car seat is without skimping on quality or safety features. I have peace of mind that my little one can travel and ride safely, but I also can also easily maneuver him in and out easily and can carry the car seat alongside the diaper bag without hunching over or hurting my back. It is extremely light to carry and easy to install, but still has all of the sturdiness you would hope for! Other notable features are the roomy bin on the stroller than can hold everything we need for longer outings and the velvety feel and easy adjustability of the handle bar. The wheels were great over muddy terrain the other day and seem like they could handle getting a bit off the paved trails. I am still getting the hang of moving between configurations, but the manual is helpful and it has been easy to get the hang of so far. The only thing I would change about this travel system (and it is a minor issue) is which side the zipper that helps you secure the under storage bin to the stroller is on. It was hard to reach over and still have the visibility to easily secure the zipper and I spent some time on the ground trying to get it zipped.
