<span itemprop="description">This seat is beautiful but quite the learning curve. I have had it for about a week now and purchased it hoping it would make things a tad easier on me. My biggest issue is getting it in and out of my volvo. With the wheel base on it is heavy and the door is not big enough to slide it in the way it attaches to the base. I have to put it in then turn it to attach, which is NOT easy with a 16lb. baby. I love that I don't have to take a stroller out anymore but also- this struggle with the seat in and out of the door is making me rethink my purchase.</span>

I was a little surprised how much heavier it is than my normal infant car seat but obviously there is extra weight with the wheels. So new c section moms would have a hard time lifting it on their own for the first few weeks/months. It is very sleek and easy to use. I’m not sold on the secure safe buckle thingy because there is a button battery inside the seatbelt chest strap. I don’t plan to utilize the app so I may just remove the battery. It just feels wrong to have that right in front of my baby especially when they’re older and able to open things. I’m sure it’s secure in there but still. Overall I’m stoked about this new inventive car seat which makes my life easier! Thanks evenflo!</span>

<span itemprop="description">There are definite pros and cons to these types of seats but for quickly running an errand with two older kids and an infant, it’s a necessity. The seat itself is easy to install and I love that the seat can be taken out without the wheels as well since it can feel pretty heavy otherwise. The convenience of a stroller built in to the seat makes up for most of the cons, but this also leads to some of the cons as well. The seat takes up a lot of room for install, so if you have 3 kids, 3 across can be more difficult to achieve. I also think it’s awkward to fold with the baby in it but I assume I’ll get the hang of it at some point. I don’t love the handle for carrying the seat and wish it was more comfortable for when you’re carrying it on your arm but the way it’s designed probably also has to do with its ability to be pushed and act as a rebound bar as well. The seat also sits low to the ground, though the handle bar adjusts higher for taller adults, but it does look a little awkward. The lower height does allow for siblings to help out and they personally love to push sister and it’s a size even my small two year old can handle! Overall, I do think it’s worth it, especially at a sale price, and I imagine I will be very happy with it for the first few months!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I recently purchased the Shyft dualride combo for my daughter to have for my granddaughter. My granddaughter is medically fragile having T18 and typically has multiple specialists visits almost every week. Having a separate set was doable, but difficult as well as choosing to just carry her or carry her in the car seat. This combo has made a huge difference in the extra that comes with frequent trips to the hospital. On top of the convenience, baby girl seems to be much more comfortable, she no longer cries while in her seat!!! I absolutely love it and so does my daughter! And I’m pretty sure baby Evergreen is pleased with it as well!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were so excited to come across this car seat. We LOVE the fact that the carrier can come off of the wheels when we do not want to use it as a stroller.
It is an over all heavier option when it comes to infant car seats but the ability to leave the wheels in the base is helpful.
I would recommend practicing opening the stroller mode several
times before baby comes as we had some problems getting it to open smoothly.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was kind of skeptical at first considering the price, and I actually had went with a cheaper option. However, I instantly regretted not purchasing the dual ride. So I went ahead and caved and it was So worth it! This is the most convenient car seat ever and it’s also pretty lightweight. It’s extremely light when the wheels are detached as well! If you have been pondering it then you should just buy it! I promise you won’t regret it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I like the stroller, it’s just a little hard to get the wheels to close, maybe because it’s new? Hopefully it loosens up a bit, otherwise I’m happy with my purchase. I also would like an extra base sooner than later, but the option to use it without the base is cool, but the clips used to hold the seat belt seem flimsy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">As I am expecting my 4th child and starting from scratch all over, I've been on a search for a travel system and a high quality design that would make my life easier. Having my oldest in elementary school with all the pickups and soccer games, I was trying to find something that would work well without waking the baby up constantly and easy transport on the go. For years, I've heard about Doona and was really intrigued by this Evenflo Shyft DualRide design, which is why I ordered it. One of my biggest concerns it being too short for me, me being 5'10" surprisingly it was perfect as far as height. However, looking at the tires, I do wish they were better quality design for all sorts of roads. Also, getting the baby in and out of the car does make a lot of noise, and this would only work if the baby is awake, which defeats the purpose for me personally. My other concern is the height for the baby, we tend to have tall babies that grow super quick. I am not sure this would work out for us unless it's a preemie or newborn baby and that's it; Which value wise doesn't make sense for us. It does take much force to get the wheels in and out into the car. As someone who will be a postpartum mama that wasn't a very attractive item on my list or someone who would have a c section this would be a mess for us. Overall, a lot of great accessories and features but quality and value wise we have decided to try another travel system.</span>

The ShyftTM DualRideTM weighs a total of 28 lb (12.7 kg) with all the components combined, including the infant carrier, stroller frame, and base. In stroller mode, or in carrier mode with the stroller frame attached, the product weighs approximately 19 lb (8.6 kg). When used as an infant carrier without the stroller frame, the product weighs approximately 8 lb (3.6 kg).
