When I first received this in the mail, I was extremely excited to give it a try. A couple of my favorite features are the smart safety clip that alerts me if my child’s chest clip has come undone, or if the temperatures become too hot in the backseat. I love all new technology features that are coming out such as being able to download an app and have alerts sent to my phone is pretty awesome. My second most favorite feature on this car seat is the ease of installation. For a five time mom and pregnant with my six. This means everything to me we all know car seat installation can be very very stressful, especially if other people are using the car seat, or if you are switching the car seat from car to car quite often. This is probably the easiest car seat that I’ve ever had to install. I wish I could give that part 10 stars. I also like the fact that you can’t have it with the wheels or without the wheels. You are able to unclip the seat from the base of the wheels and leave it in the car or you are able to take out the wheels with the seat and use it as a stroller. I will say that with the wheels it is extremely heavy. Postpartum I would not be able to get those in and out of the car. It’s definitely not a one hand job. That’s probably my biggest complaint is just how heavy it is which I do feel like that is to be expected due to it’s a car seat stroller so that makes sense. we will continue to use it as I love some of the other features that I have already mentioned, but for that reason alone, it’s just not my absolute favorite. Although I do appreciate the convenience of just having an all in one car seat, stroller and not having to get in the trunk get my stroller out set it up put the seat in the stroller and then go. I think that if you were traveling with this via bus or train, it would be very bulky and sometimes hard to maneuver. I love the style of the seat and the colors I think are very modern and up-to-date. I also give that five stars. Overall, I do give a five star review. Just be mindful that it is very heavy without baby in it. If that’s not a factor for you and you are just looking for an on the go car seat stroller. I think that you would absolutely love this product. The quality is absolutely stellar!</span>

The versatility is next to none, both in options for installation (with or without the base, with or without the stroller, LATCH or seatbelt) and in flexibility of usage. I used to carry my baby’s car seat in and out of daycare since different cars did drop off and pickup and my stroller was too bulky and took too much time to get in and out. I’ve saved my back tremendously using this instead, and it’s way faster and easier. The height of the handle is perfect for me at 5’4” and my husband at 6’. The cup holder is a nice addition although I don’t really use it and you have to take it off when in car seat mode. I was a bit worried about the sound of popping out the wheels as my baby is sensitive to noise, but it’s been completely fine. And while it’s a bit bulky as a car seat, it’s so compact as a stroller that it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. We use it for walks in the neighborhood as well as out and about and the ride is surprisingly smooth. There’s a bit of a learning curve for transferring between car seat and stroller modes, but no more than any other stroller I’ve used, and once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty intuitive. Oh, and almost forgot the SensorSafe buckle! What a cool safety feature! All in all, I think the Shyft DualRide is spectacular and I could not recommend it enough.</span>

It is definitely heavier than your average car seat, because it weighs as much as a typical non-umbrella stroller. That makes it a little cumbersome getting it in and out of the car, but it's worth that challenge to not have to carry around and set up a light stroller.
The quality seems very good - construction is solid, wheels are a good size and sturdy, connections and levers/releases seem well-made. The cushion material is comfy but not very soft or luxurious.
The size fits a solid range - my (albeit short) nearly 2-year-old fits in it, and so does my 2-month-old. The canopy is FABULOUS - adjusts really easily and looks nice.
The only issues I have are as follows:
For me, the release mechanisms don't seem intuitive. For some reason I always want to pull the releases for the wrong purposes (top for pulling stroller legs up, etc.). Not sure how that could be improved, maybe with colors or little pictures.
The seat belt for the harness has a seam that gets stuck EVERY time I try to loosen the harness. This means it takes a long time to get my kid out of the car seat.

I became a widowed last year while pregnant with my baby girl and though times have been tough, I have been searching for baby products that would help ease being a first time solo parent. Thankfully, the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo is one of those products that has eased motherhood for me as a first time widowed mommy. It is so easy to use. Looks wise it is not that pretty to me as I think it looks like a Transformers toys for babies, but I believe the product carries itself well enough that it is the true combo of a car seat and stroller all in one. I love that it could fit babies for up to 35 pounds. Though the Shyft DualRide is a bit heavy, I do think it is great that I am able to take my baby out on a stroll while also having the option to put her in a car at any given time.
I also really like how the straps are easily adjustable without giving you a hassle by taking out the straps only to adjust height. All I have to do is squeeze behind the head support and pull or push to the desired height of the straps my baby needs. This is a true innovation and I would love for more parents to be aware that items like these do exist and can make parenthood a tad easier for all of us.</span>

The combination baby car seat and stroller makes it a breeze to go anywhere without having to worry/pack a stroller just in case. The fact that I can use the car seat with or without the stroller was icing on the cake as well as it fitting into the car seat base. Being able to set up the stroller was a bit of a learning curve and was made easier by rereading the instructions and a few trial runs before using with my baby. After about 2 or 3 set up/take downs, it became easy to use. This car seat has everything, the materials used for the inside of the seat are soft and looks very comfortable for my baby. The chest clip was something I had never seen or heard of before; the Bluetooth capability and the app provided peace of mind as it reminded me of little one has spent too long in the car seat or if he was potentially overheating as it monitors the temperature (which is essential as it can easy get over what is deemed safe in Texas).
Overall, this is a great investment and worth it! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this seat to test and review!</span>

My top favs - The design is sleek, functional, and has made my life way easier. It was incredibly easy to install, and the anti-rebound base is exceptional because it didn’t budge once it was installed. The base also includes wheel covers for the stroller - which is amazing because who wants dirty stroller wheels exposed in the backseat?! The canopy extends farther than most strollers, keeping my 20 lb., 7 month old nicely shaded during naps. Another top fav, is the design of the padding behind baby’s head. It flexes a bit for comfort, and has been amazing for preventing flat spots on the back of his head. In addition, the app was super easy to set up, and easy to use. I love being able to to see how long my LO has been in his car seat and what the temperature is in the backseat. Some of the other app settings that were based on location were much too sensitive, but after some fine tuning, are now working much better. The only other downside, was struggling a bit with unlatching the carseat from the base a couple of times, but it improved as we used it more.

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shyft dual ride carseat and stroller combo is an awesome product. We love the ease of use of having a stroller built into the carseat; it makes running errands with baby so effortless. Instead of lugging around a large stroller in your trunk and setting it up and attaching the carseat - you just unclick the carseat from the base and hit one button to open up the stroller wheels. The stroller likely won't replace your need for a full-sized stroller. It does not have a basket and is pretty low to the ground, so not great for long walks. It does the job though for shopping trips, doctor visits, etc.
The other feature I like is that the product is really three pieces - a base, stroller wheels, and the carseat. If you are taking baby out of the car to go into the house, you can remove just the carseat piece without the wheels. This keeps the carseat weight light when carrying. The car seat is really nice quality and baby finds it comfortable. It also comes with a SensorSafe chest clip which has some really nice features for safety (monitors that you don't forget baby in car, the temperature in the car, etc.). It does require some time to get it set up on your phone and other caregiver's phone, but seems like the extra safety is worth it.
I will definitely be recommending this product to new moms.

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Evenflo Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo is amazing and I cannot believe I did not have this sooner! It is so functional and has completely improved daycare pickup for my older son every single day. I had been lugging the baby's car seat into day care or taking the time to get the stroller out of the trunk and set it up - either way was a pain and difficult. Now with the Shyft DualRide I can just pop the wheels out on the car seat and go. Seriously this car seat stroller combo is a life changer for me. As for installation and ease of use, the car seat base installation was very easy. I have used a lot of bases and car seats and this is among the easiest to feel comfortable installing correctly. The car seat is a bit difficult to get into the base with the wheels attached, especially if the baby is inside. It is very heavy and takes a bit of learning and pushing to get it in. It is still worth it from my perspective. The safety features are like nothing that I have had in a car seat before. It connects to my phone via bluetooth and lets me know if the chest chip is undone or the child is too hot. It is pretty cool especially for a little baby that can't communicate himself when something is wrong. I also really like the black color scheme. It matches everything and hides dirt well. The fabric on this looks like it pops off easily for washing. I also love the no rethread harness and these straps are easy to use and some of the better ones that I have had on an infant car seat. I do wish this one had the tan leather handle like some of the other Shyfts, but that is a pretty small complaint. For those wondering, I do not think this replaces a separate stroller for your infant if you are a family that likes to go on long walks or outings with uneven surfaces. I think the Dualride stroller is awesome for short and easy/flat hard surface outings, but we go for our strollers with better suspension and maneuverability for bigger outings. That said, I am glad I was able to try this out as the concept is very cool however I don’t see myself using this car seat as a main stroller, car seat combo. I think this would be better suited for a family that travels a lot and needs this functionality versus just having it as a nice to have. The stroller itself is very cool but the car seat is very heavy so if you do need to carry it for a little bit it’s not comfortable.
It takes a bit of messing with it to figure out how to transition into a stroller and back to the car seat again. Once you figure it out, it is pretty easy overall. Overall, my recommendation is to look into this if you are constantly on the go and it will be a second option however if you just need one stroller without “bells and whistles” I probably wouldn’t select this one.</span>

Installation was quick and easy. Took my husband only a few minutes. The car seat is well-made and sturdy. The anti-rebound base and SensorSafe chest clip provided a sense of safety. My daughter also seemed very comfortable in it!
The car seat is actually very simple to use. I quickly figured out how to transition the car seat to a stroller and back again. I was surprised I got the hang of it right away! With just a click of a button the car seat transitions to a stroller and back again.
It is also convenient to use, especially for day to day life with a little one or multiples. I have a toddler and a baby so the car seat made school drop offs and running errands easier.
One of my favorite features of the car seat is the convenience of it. I don’t have to worry about other parts of a stroller. I can get my daughter out of the car quick. Also, if I come across a set of stairs when I’m out with my daughter and the elevator is nowhere in sight or even non-existent, I can transition the car seat back and just carry it. I also love that the car seat frees up my trunk space. I have a mid-side SUV and truck space is already limited with two kids so any amount of space saved is a plus for me.
The one complaint I have is that the car seat lacks the storage of a traditional stroller. When going out with a baby, there’s always so much to carry and it would be nice to have a basket to put things in. Overall, functionality of the car seat is great! It will make my life easier with two little ones. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant carrier car seat!</span>

I think this all-in-one style carseat and stroller is very convenient especially for families that are constantly on the go. This combo was pretty simple to use after reading the manual. I was able to transposition it from carseat to stroller only needing to remember which handle to squeeze. It doesn’t transition quietly though; so if baby was sleeping it’s be best to just carry the seat instead of transitioning it back to stroller. Installing this carseat combo was fairly simple and I like that there are many ways to choose from. The SensorSafe chest clip is a cool feature that provides peace of mind. Even though the preferred installation is without the base, it makes me feel more secure using the base’s anti-rebound bar. My favorite feature of this combo is the convenience to always have my stroller with me.</span>

I have been curious about this sort of concept since the birth of my first child 7 years ago and now that we're on our fifth, I finally had the opportunity to try it! To start, we've rotated through many, MANY car seats over the years and this one is truly one of the best. The straps are snug but easy to manuever, the base is a breeze to install, and the stability of the seat in base plus the integrity of the construction materials makes it trustworthy and safe. I love the sleek, simple look of the seat in and of itself, and the wheels and legs just make it look even more sophisticated and posh. The idea of the integrated stroller combo is truly ingenius and there are very few (only this brand and another) that I'm aware of that offer this option. The ability to seamlessly move a child from car to sidewalk with the thrust of some integrated legs is amazing. The space saving in an already packed car is second to none and the stroller is pretty sturdy for what it is. I wish it were a bit more stable on uneven ground (my wild children tend to be a little crazed when pushing and we've had some near topple incidents) but it definitely beats an umbrella stroller. I love the long shade that pulls taut over the chair and offers protection from the sun. Even moreso, I appreciate the wheel protectors that slide over the wheels when on your seat so it doesn't soil your seats. It's just such a smart and efficient concept that I can't believe more companies don't offer this. I want for a little more storage space (and a slightly larger cupholder) but overall, I am very pleased with this nifty little contraption!</span>

Upon opening it it was easy to set up and came with visual directions that helped me to understand how to use it. The capability of turning it from a car seat to stroller has been super useful as I have a newborn and toddler and I am not having to carry around the large car seat when we run in to a store or to an appointment. The seat is not too heavy to get out of the car and the wheels pop down easily. Getting the wheels back up takes some practice but has gotten easier each time I’ve used it. The seat itself is soft and has nice padding, the strap covers and are really nice and don’t slide or fall off. The straps tighten easily and get nice and snug on my baby. The stroller maneuvers well and is easy to turn around to get threw and open doors and it takes bumps pretty well as well for being so compact. The only thing that is hard is the fact that the buttons to move the handle are on the side and when the seat is the in the car it can be hard to move them without disturbing a sleeping baby. I’m hoping to be able to find the base for the seat sold separately so I can use it in multiple vehicles. Overall I love the concept and functionality is great!</span>

As with most infant products I was nervous about the time and energy it would take to get it set up. Fortunately they have kept simplicity in mind for this product and make it extremely easy and efficient to set it up. There is a very helpful Quick Guide to provide basic a basic understanding of the multiple features of the car seat/stroller and how to use them. In addition I found multiple video tutorials online that also helped to understand these features.
With a newborn you realize how important convenience is and having products that are versatile. This stroller is no exception as it is extremely versatile to be able to go from car seat to stroller on the fly. That makes it extremely convenient when you are running errands and need to get in and out as efficiently as possible. Another thoughtful feature of this stroller is the lightweight nature of the overall car seat. It was very easy to convert and put our son in the car even in tighter parking spaces. Additionally there are multiple inserts and ways to adjust the straps based on the size of your baby. Our son is quite large for a 2.5 month old, so it was nice to make the necessary adjustments to ensure he was safe and comfortable. We didn't have many spills, but the material quality seemed to be very durable and appeared to be very easy to clean.
A couple of things that we unfortunately did not like about this car seat/stroller combo was the wheels and how it felt as a stroller. They didn't seem very secure when you were in the stroller position and did not operate as smoothly as you would like. More specifically we notice the wheels contributed to a lot of bounce and bumps that we hadn't observed in our other strollers. Despite the various seat positions and inserts available for the car seat, the actual position of how the car seat fit in our vehicle made our son sit very upright. Unfortunately, the car seat base didn't have enough adjustment to allow us to ensure he was seated at the correct angle forcing him to be more upright than we would like. I had seen additional tips online to correct this by using blanket or additional layer to increase the angle, but ultimately did not feel comfortable enough to do that. I am sure part of the issue is our rear seats and how the base fits which likely varies by each vehicle.
Overall though I would recommend this car seat/stroller combo for anyone looking for one that is lightweight and that has multiple features. The convenience alone of not having to bring a separate stroller base makes it well worth it. It is very evident they had a lot of emphasis on safety including the SensorSafe chest clip and various seat inserts. Only recommendation would be (if possible) is to test fit the car seat base and make sure it will fit appropriately in your vehicle.</span>

I love how it transforms into a stroller so easily and makes transporting a baby so much more efficient when you have other little’s to account for and hands to hold! I can not picture lugging around an infant seat while trying to juggle my other kids at the same time! Installing was super easy and the instructions made sense. I did it myself and felt very sure it was done properly and safely. The breakdown to put it back into the car is effortless and I love the fact this design allows for the wheels to be kept on when you are using it in the car as a carseat. This is the first car seat that I have known to have efficient sensor safe technology and it really does give me a piece of mind while traveling with my little one. If a child were to come unclipped this feature is amazing and alerts you of any unsafe conditions that you otherwise may not be aware of while driving down the road. I love that it has spf 50 because little ones are supposed to be 6+ months old to use sunscreen so this really helps when trying to keep them out of the sun and cool! I also love how nicely it drives through different surfaces such as mulch at a local park, I was able to push it right along without any issues! I also love that the stroller handle is tall so i don’t have to bend over and hold onto it at an awkward angle and especially for my husband who is much taller than me! It's nice to have your baby closer to you while traveling as well! I was given this infant carrier car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am forever grateful because it is my favorite baby item I have ever used to date! I am recommending this to all of my moms of multiples and even first time moms as it is just such a nice convenience to have and I can really trust this brand and know it's a safe option for my children!</span>

The Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo is perfect for moms who often run quick errands or have multiple school pick up/drop offs to make happen with a little one in tow.
My favorite feature is the sensor safe chest strap, which we tested out and definitely provides peace of mind-- this is a feature I now wish my 4 year olds carseat came with! You receive alerts on your phone quickly-- in fact, there is such little delay that I often found it going off before I had finished loading all of my children in the car. There is also no need to worry about if your phone is being silenced. Your phone will still sound a notice stating that there is a child in the car and, if you are busy and the alert isn't necessary, you are able to "snooze" the alert.
Other advantages to the seat are how easy it is to install. It took me less than a minute to get everything set up and installed correctly. I LOVE that the base has an anti-rebound bar built in and that the handles can be used in any position while in the car. It's also great for those with very small infants-- this seat can safely protect babies as small as 3 pounds and as large as 35 pounds so there is definitely longevity to it.
This seat has worked well for running quick errands, however, I have found it heavy and cumbersome to get in and out of my SUV. The fact that the seat needs an inch and a half of clearance between the seat in front of it and on all sides is also a disadvantage since it limits it's use severely and I am not able to install it in my husband's car. I worry that families might purchase the carseat and not know this and end up unknowingly using it incorrectly. It's also awkwardly low to the ground for adults (though the handle bars pivot to an acceptable height for my tall husband), but my 4 year old found this to be an extreme advantage because he LOVED that he was finally able to push his sister and kiss her while she was in her seat! I also thought my infant would be annoyed staying in the seat while we ran errands but she had enough clearance on the side of the seat that she was able to look around, observe, and stay content.
With the wheels on, it is very heavy to carry from the outside in, however, the fact that the seat can detach from the wheels and leave them behind is a major advantage. I also love that it can be used with the Evenflo Shyft stroller system since there were times I wanted to use the stroller while running an errand but I had nowhere to put items (such as running in to the grocery store for a few things). Another design flaw is that, as your child grows, the sunshade runs into the handlebars when trying to move the handlebars to a position in the back of the seat for easier removal of the infant from the carseat. I also liked that there is a no rethread harness but wished the buckle and straps were of a nicer quality because they often get stuck/twisted/uneven and become hard to ensure a tight fit without a "reset."
Overall, I think this seat is worth purchasing with your first child to get long term use out of it because it definitely becomes more advantageous when having multiples. The sensorsafe chest clip and anti rebound bar are enough safety features to sway me towards this product and the wheel removal option and ability to use the seat with a traditional travel system are also definite advantages!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Syft Dualride as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but we are so glad we did! Very similar to the Doona, this stroller and carseat in one is perfect for traveling or a day of in and out errand running. It's so easy to take out and set up because there aren't a million pieces or adaptors you have to worry about.
The bluetooth safety feature and Evanflo app is great peace of mind. We haven't used it a whole ton, but it's definitely a nice "extra" feature.
There are a couple of cons, but not enough to keep me from using it. Collapsing it down from the stroller to the carseat can be a bit clumsy until you get the hang of it, so try it a few times before baby is in it. It's also pretty heavy with the stroller piece attached when you're lifting it in and out of the car but nothing you can't get used to. Lastly, it doesn't have a storage basket underneath, so using it for an all day trip to the zoo or something night not be the most practical.
We absolutely LOVE using it for day to errands though when I have to take my child in and out of the car several times. I don't have to worry about loading and unloading the separate stroller or carrying the carseat in and out of stores which is SO nice.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish we had this carseat for our first kiddo!! We (me, hubby, and both kiddos) are loving this carseat/stroller combo. It makes it so easy to quickly pop into a store/daycare without disrupting my sleeping kiddo. We have an infant carseat that fits into a full size 1to2 to a stroller, and this Shyft DualRide is SO MUCH EASIER.
Installation in our van was easy - pretty much the same as any other infant seat base. Feels secure and safe in our van. I really like that you can keep the stroller in the car and not drag the dirty wheels all over our house. Opening the stroller is easy, but folding it back up takes some practice. It took me a few days for it to be a smooth movement, and not jostle kiddo around too much.
My kiddo seems snug and comfy in the infant seat - lots of cushioning for him. The handle height adjustment is nice too. My 2.5 year old daughter likes keeping it on the low setting, so she can easily push her brother around!
The SensorSafe technology alerts are interesting too. I do like the added safety feature but I haven't quite gotten used to the alerts on my phone every time I buckle my kid in the seat. We did use the temperature one once - outside at a picnic, it went off because he was too hot. Very thankful for that!!!
While we love the stroller, I do have two small complaints... first, it's somewhat heavy for me to get the carseat/stroller in and out of the car. I am average height and fairly strong. But I struggle a bit to get the carseat and stroller up out of the base in our minivan. The extra height of the stroller and a bit extra weight, makes it harder compared to other infant seats we've used. To be fair, my kiddo is also 20 lbs, so that doesn't help either :) And I don't have to carry him in the carseat much - I can just push him!
Secondly, I wish there was some kind of bag or storage compartment for the stroller. I know you can buy a storage basket separately, but it would be nice if it came with one. I often just grab the kid/phone/wallet, and quickly realized I didn't have a place to toss my things. The cupholder that it comes with is also useless... it gets knocked off constantly trying to put the carseat in/out of the car.
Overall, love the carseat/stroller and would definitely recommend to new parents who want a quick and easy way to transport kiddo out of the car. Honestly, we'll probably keep the baby in this seat until he hits the size limits, since it's so convenient.

When researching baby products to purchase, finding something multi-functional that can make life a little easier is so important to our family. This Evenflo infant car seat and stroller combination does just that! Safety is always number one and this car seat exceeded my expectations as far as features to keep my little one protected in the car. Its anti-rebound base helps to absorb forces in the event of a crash, and it even has a feature called SensorSafe that connects to Bluetooth and can alert you to unsafe conditions for your child. I thought this was such a neat feature I haven’t seen before in other car seats! The superior quality of the materials is obvious, the design is super stylish, and installation was a breeze! And now onto my favorite feature, this car seat quickly and easily converts to a stroller! I cannot express how convenient this made running errands and getting around with both my girls. Previously, I would struggle with the decision to lug the heavy stroller out of the trunk, and I often would decide it was more trouble that it was worth. That is why I love the Shyft DualRide so much because the stroller is built into the car seat so I can easily convert it to and from a stroller with such ease. <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me test out this product for free! There are many features I love about this all in one stroller- the smooth ride, the cozy space for my baby and even the lightweight standalone car seat! Setup was relatively easy and once you get the hand of what levers do what daily operation is a piece of cake. It also came with a parent cup holder which is nice because attaching any sort of bag on the handle wouldn’t be possible while keeping it easy to carry/ install. Initial install into the car was very easy and learning which lever released what was pretty quick to learn- highly recommended fully reading the setup guide and watching a video or two. My biggest complaint with this all in one stroller is getting it out of the car. If the wheels are not PERFECTLY aligned it’s a struggle because you have to pull different handles try to reposition it slightly and try again to get it out. I’m a shorter person and it takes a lot sometimes to get the whole system out. This is both frustrating and also concerning from a safety perspective because if the system isn’t attach right in an accident that could be dangerous so I always end up triple checking to make sure things are as locked as possible. I also don’t love how easily the front of the car seat pulls up- I’ve tried clicking it into place and it just never stays down. The sunshade is also taller than the handlebar so you have to jam it under to lay it flat. Overall, I love this all in one, even with its quirks, and use it daily, but it took me some time to figure out how to make sure it’s safely installed, how to easily get it out of the car.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5-month-old daughter and I loved trying out the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo. We have always wanted to try an infant car seat and stroller combo. The functionality is honestly like a dream come true for me- having an infant car seat and a stroller all in one. I just wish it was easier to use, didn’t take up so much space in the car and not so heavy.
The Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo was reasonably easy to use after some practice. I did feel like it was clunky to use when transitioning from car seat to stroller and back again. It wasn’t a very smooth transition and sometimes woke my daughter up mid nap. The Shyft is also very heavy. However, my daughter always looks so comfortable in the Shyft and naps well in it on the go (she has two older siblings that are in tons of activities).
I was impressed how easy it was to install the Shyft car seat with the base in our car. We used our seatbelt to install the base, and it was very straight forward. The anti-rebound base and SensorSafe chest clip were added safety features that I really appreciated. My daughter looked very secure in the seat, and I felt very comfortable having her in the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo. The base and Shyft are very large and barely fit in our BMW X3. We had to move the passenger seat up quite a bit to make it fit. I think the Shyft would be best suited for a large SUV or minivan.
My favorite feature of the Shyft was having an infant car seat and stroller in one. It’s so, so convenient to go from car seat to stroller so easily. However, the Shyft is pretty clunky and heavy and takes up so much space in our car. It wasn’t super easy to transition from the car seat to the stroller, but perhaps I’ll get better with practice.

The seat is FAA approved or if just wanting to travel with the whole product Evenflo does manufacture a travel bag for the Shyft DualRide.

The ShyftTM DualRideTM weighs a total of 28 lb (12.7 kg) with all the components combined, including the infant carrier, stroller frame, and base. In stroller mode, or in carrier mode with the stroller frame attached, the product weighs approximately 19 lb (8.6 kg). When used as an infant carrier without the stroller frame, the product weighs approximately 8 lb (3.6 kg).
