Suh-weet ride!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent stroller/car seat combo. Perfect for the on the go family!
A few things I loved about the Shyft DualRide:
1. My favorite feature is that you can leave the stroller part on the base. The whole thing is pretty heavy, so it’s really handy to be able to leave the wheels behind when you just need the car seat. The car seat by itself is fairly lightweight!
2. It’s easy to transition to stroller mode! It took me a little bit to get the hang of folding up the wheels, but it’s easy too with a little practice.
3. Nice canopy on the car seat! It’s big and protects my child from the sun.
4. The base was really easy to install.
5. This is my first car seat with the sensor safe feature! Neat feature that will give you some peace of mind.
6. The manual says this is a great car seat for a smaller baby. The lowest harness height is 4.5 inches so it’s a good choice for a small baby.
7. The videos on YouTube were super helpful! The company went into detail about how to use the DualRide and they show you all the features.
8. The stroller is really easy to push and turn. I love using it as a stroller.
Some things to consider…
1. The canopy is hard to move with the carseat handle up. You have to push it down and under the handle to pull it down/pull it back. If the handle was a bit higher, it wouldn’t be an issue. Not a big deal, but kind of annoying.
2. I haven’t seen the option to buy another base. The manual does give instructions to install without the base, but I’d love the option to buy another base.
3. The whole thing is tall in our van. The handle hits our van ceiling when I’m taking to car seat out of the car. Our last car seat wasn’t quite as tall. I have to be careful when taking it out. Since the wheels have to be in the base, you do have to lift the car set a little higher to get it in the base.
Overall, we love this carseat! I would recommend to anyone looking for a carseat/stroller combo! It’s very functional and the fact you can leave the stroller part in the base is a huge plus for me.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

Shyft DualRide worth the buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could not be more thankful to have recieved this carseat combo to test for Stellar Panel. I recieved the Shyft DualRide carseat stroller about 2 weeks ago. Overall opinion, worth it. The convenience of it is worth everything over any cons I have found. Yes, it is a little heavier and bulky compared to other carseats, but your need to carry it, is not necessarily needed when you can just drop the wheels out. First thing, I do drive a '21 Jeep Wrangler. So, warning to anyone with narrow backseat doors, that part is not fun. Maneuvering the carseat into the backseat, just wasn't easy. That being said, that would not be enough of a reason for me to not continue to use it. Collapsing from stroller to carseat took a tiny bit of a slight push, but nothing too much. The strap to tighten the harness is a little stiff, but would probably get a little easier to tighten with time. I'm not a fan of the SensorSafe. There were times I'd have him with me in my Jeep, and the alert would set off. Or times I'd be using it as the stoller and it would ding to alert family. The temperature reading was really the only part of the app I liked. Now for the great stuff. I am a full time working mom, so having the all in one is wonderful. It's also great because my lil guy LOVES it. He has to think it's comfortable because he never has any issues falling asleep in it. He hardly ever fusses while in it either. So going to events or shopping with him in it, is great. It doesn't fit in the top of a shopping cart, which stinks, but if you're shopping with someone else, that part doesn't matter. The stroller has a cup holder, which rocks, but no compartment under him to put any bags or anything. (I did see online you can buy the setup with the Carryall Storage) The canopy extends further than other canopies I have used, which I love as well. The handle extends out which works great for my husband and anyone else tall. I'm barely over 5ft, so even not extended, it's a good height for me. The handle, when in stroller position, is right in front of his feet. We have a toy bar attached, and it is in the perfect spot for him to kick and play with! When the handle is in carseat position, he can reach it with his hands to play on our morning commutes. My favorite part, BY FAR as a nail tech with loonngg nails, is the button to release the harness, is thumb shaped. So no fighting with using your knuckle, or a carseat key, or asking someone else to undo the harness. One thing all of my clients complain about is how no company has ever made a "nails friendly" harness button.
Overall, I love it. I would and will suggest the Shyft to any new coming moms. Good job Evenflo on this great combo!

Great car seat/stroller combo!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The evenflo Shyft Dualride infant car seat and stroller combo is a sleek ride for our baby. It was well packaged and easy to put together. The latch system made it easy to install in my vehicle and the mechanism to remove the car seat from the base is seamless. It is also very east to make the car seat into a stroller, however it is a little more difficult to make the stroller go back into a car seat. I would have liked this to be a more fluid movement. I like that the base is an anti-rebound base, which is important to us for safety. I also really like the SensoSafe chest clip, it eases my mind when I am driving and I’m not able to look back at my baby. My favorite part of this combo is the fact that it goes from car seat to stroller in one click, it is the ultimate thing to have for ease with an infant. Evenflo DualRide
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Evenflo Shyft DualRide through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression of the product was it had a great overall look to it. The stroller seemed to be very easy to maneuver and very smooth while testing it out in my home. We also loved how easy the non rethread harness was to use to adjust to our baby. However, the handle was either really short or really tall, not a lot of different options for different heights of people. I am 5’3” and it was either a little too short or a little too tall for me but my husband (6’2”) thought it was the perfect height. There also are not clips or magnets to aid in holding the buckles while putting the baby into the seat. This stroller is a great option for a very nice travel stroller, but it does not have any storage. The DualRide is also very low to the ground making it a bit difficult to put them in and out of. While using the car seat, I noticed a few features that I found to be unmatched on the market. The sensor to alert me of the temperature I really enjoyed during our walks. The pull down shade was also the best one I have used. It was an extra long canopy to really shield them from the sun. However, the wheels are not made for a rougher terrain. Overall, I would recommend this product for someone looking for peace of mind given by the sensors and a very nice, easy to use travel stroller.

Convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this stroller from the Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review.
Pros: Extremely convenient. I’ve always seen the other competitor’s brand being used by other moms and thought it was a great idea but just not convincing enough for me to switch from my travel system strollers. But I must say, now that I got to try this Shyft Dual Ride, the all-in-one system extremely convenient! Especially for the times I’m with my baby alone running errands. It’s a game changer. There is a big learning curve though in which you just simply need to practice a few times at home so you’re not struggling with it out in public where it’s hectic. But after practicing with it, it is very simple to turn from car seat mode to stroller mode and back again. The base was easy to install and I love the sensor safe chestclip!
Cons: Heavy! Definitely heavier than my travel systems. The seat could be more plush for baby. And I really wish it had a storage basket under the seat like most travel systems do. That is probably the biggest con I have with these type of strollers.
Overall, the convenience is definitely a game changer and I would definitely recommend it. But I will say it’s not made for daily outings that require you to bring a lot of baby items. But for quick grocery, post office, store errands where you won’t need your entire bag, bottles, etc. it’s amazing!

Wonderful for mom of multiples or city dwellers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is a god send for a mom of multiples. Between school drop off and pickup, multiple trips to the grocery store, the park, and various appointments, the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo has been an absolute lifesaver. A little background- I am a new mom of 3 with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 3 month old at home. The design is sleek and simple. It came in 3 major pieces- an infant car seat, a car seat base, and a separate base with wheels for the stroller function. The set up is generally straightforward and took seconds to piece it all together. The car seat itself is lightweight, the infant insert is very soft, and it seems really comfortable for my 3 month old. I removed the padding around the shoulder straps because it almost seemed to be too thick/a little too much. Plus it’s one more thing to clean if my son spits up. It also took me a while to figure out how to raise the shoulder straps, eventually I found the white pull lever on the back of the seat that you have to squeeze and then lift up to raise those straps as your baby grows. Once I found it, it was incredibly easy to do. The canopy is soft and thin, it’s easy to open and close. The sensor safe chest clip is an amazing feature! Coming into the hot months I worry about the temperature in my car a lot, and the temperature sensing feature has given me great piece of mind. I hope that I would never leave my baby in the car, but it’s a nice safety feature to know that if I did, I would be alerted immediately once my phone got too far away from the car seat. My only complaint with the car seat is that there is no place on the sides of the seat to hook the car seat straps on to keep the straps to the side as you load and unload your baby. I eventually started shoving them in the canopy but they don’t always stay there and it can be frustrating trying to pull the straps out from behind my monster sized 3 month old while he’s sitting in the car seat.
The car seat, when attached to the wheels, is very heavy and a little bulky/awkward to carry- especially with a baby in it as well. I think this is almost expected though considering all the extra weight and attachments. Removing the car seat from the base is also a little difficult. Being so heavy, you have to lift it up pretty high to fully remove the stroller attachment and car seat from the base, and it did stick a few times. Luckily I have a larger SUV with running boards, allowing me to stand above the seat and lift the seat up without too much difficulty. My 65 year old mother does struggle with getting the car seat in and out of the vehicle though.
It did take a lot of trial and error and practice trying to convert it to a stroller and then collapsing it back to a car seat. Once you got the hang of the tilt needed to collapse the wheels it became a lot easier. The directions provided are easy to read, and once you do it a few times it became almost muscle memory like how you disconnect your car seat from the base without even thinking after doing it so many times. I still haven’t figured out how to remove the wheels/stroller base from the car seat without the entire system being attached to the car seat base in my vehicle. It would help to be able to remove the car seat from the wheels to make the car seat lighter if you want to carry your baby in the seat without having to attach the whole system to the base. The stroller itself is easy to maneuver, has a pretty smooth ride, and the included drink holder is a huge plus. There isn’t any other storage unfortunately, but that’s not a deal breaker for me. It would be nice to have the option to attach a storage compartment for a phone and keys perhaps, but more often than not I have a diaper bag I’m carrying as well. It’s also not good for any type of “rough terrain”, but for a walk to and from school or around the block or sidewalks at the park it gets the job done. The car seat also seems to sit lower to the ground in the stroller than other strollers I’ve used which I think helps it feel more sturdy/less likely to get knocked over or tip over if you’re pushing through the grass or a rowdy toddler knocks into it.
The car seat base itself is super easy to install using LATCH, it took less than 5 minutes to install. Once the car seat base is installed the entire system is ready to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Shyft Dualride from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been eyeing one of these car seat/stroller combos so I was very excited to be able to test one. Immediately upon opening I was very impressed with the quality of the materials. The seat itself has great cushioning and the wheels are very smooth. The handle comes up a good amount and it was a comfortable height for me (I am 5’3”). Once I read the instructions, it was very easy to close and release the wheels and the car seat is a good weight, so I didn’t struggle getting it in and out of the car (something that is very important to me as a c-section mama).
Installing the car seat in the car was very easy and it felt secure. I was a bit nervous about how the wheels would affect the stability of the car seat, but I saw no issues.
this is definitely a car seat I recommend for quick shopping trips and doctors appointments.

Shyft DualRide
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I LOVE the Dual Shyft car seat/stroller. It has made running errands and transitions to and from events so much easier. It’s so much quicker to get in and out of the car and not worry about getting the baby in the stroller or lugging around her heavy carseat. I would absolutely recommend this to a friend and I can’t wait to use it again if we have another baby in the future.
What I love:
-Very easy to install in the car.
-The car seat alone is very light weight and comfortable for me to carry using one arm.
-Easy and quick to pull it out of the car and set it up as a stroller.
-My baby is comfortable in the car seat and takes great naps in it!
-The sensorsafe chest clip put my mind at ease, especially when a sitter/grandparent was driving with the baby.
-The car seat clicks into the base easily. With another car seat I have used, sometimes I wasn’t sure if it clicked in all the way, but I never questioned it with this car seat.
-I love that the car seat is adjustable and can be used up until the baby reaches 35 lbs. This is definitely a selling point for me, because some infants only fit in an infant seat for a very short period of time, but since it can adjust, you can use it longer.
-The brakes are easy to use and I like that they are foot brakes, because I usually have my hands full.
What could be improved:
-Square handle bar can be hard to get in and out of the car. It seems to be taller than other car seats I have used.
-I have a hard time collapsing the stroller. Sometimes the legs won’t close up and end up setting up as a stroller again instead. This is why I did not give it a 5 star rating. I have reread the directions to make sure I wasn’t missing a step or if there was a way to make it easier, but I still am having issues.
-It is a bit heavy when the wheels are attached, so it can make getting it into the car somewhat difficult.
Overall, I love the Shyft DualRide and have already recommended it to friends. Having a two year old, along with a baby has its challenges and I don't know what I did without the Shyft DualRide car seat and stroller combo. I don't go anywhere without it now!

Perfect Combo for on the Go!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat. I absolutely love this car seat and stroller combo! Having three kids ages three, two, and a one-month-old makes getting out of the house so much easier. Since I do not need a stroller along with a car seat, this frees up my trunk space tremendously! Now I can grab the car seat with the wheels attached and go in half the time than before. The Shyft DualRide Canopy protects baby from the sun well enough while still allowing air to flow. The cup holder is a nice added feature to this combo as well. Getting the car seat and stroller combo out of the car was a breeze. Easy to do once you read the directions. Collapsing the car seat and stroller took some practice to maneuver. I would recommend practicing collapsing the combo without baby in the car seat first. It could startle the baby and wake them up when collapsing because it does make some noise and it is not a smooth transition as just putting the baby in the car with the car seat alone. This car seat and stroller combo was easy to install. The manual gave plenty of directions on how to properly install the combo. The base felt tight and secure. The manual even has directions on how to install the seat in an airplane. I did not fly during my testing period, but if I did, this car seat and stroller combo would be traveling with me! It would save space and time. The SensorSafe chest clip is a nice security feature to this combo. The app was easy to use and understand (comes with its own direction manual as well). I especially liked how I could add family members to send safety alerts if needed. There were a few things about the car seat and stroller combo I did not like. First, the weight of the set. It is heavy when you are lifting the car seat with the wheels (stroller) attached plus an infant into the car. I drive an SUV and I have to use a little more muscle power to lift it up. If the wheels are left into the base and you take the car seat out, it does rattle when you drive around. It needs the weight of the car seat to quiet the sound. The canopy will hit the carrier handle and you must push it down every time. This was not a surprise because they do tell you in the manual to push the canopy slightly underneath the carrier handle. My favorite feature of this combo is that it is a car seat and stroller combo! I have everything I need for my baby on the go and it’s all-in-one. Also, this combo is slim, saves space, and is easy to stroll. I would highly recommend this combo to everyone!

Shyft Dual Ride Car Seat and Stroller Combo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat to test out!
I have a five month old daughter. She's about 26" long and 14.5lbs. I researched many car seat and travel system combinations before she was born. I considered a car seat/stroller combo seat but ultimately went with the traditional car seat with separate stroller. I have always wondered if I would have been happier with the combo set up, so I was thrilled to get the opportunity to test this product out.
Overall I was extremely pleased with the car seat and the only complaints I have are minor.
Pros:
- Very comfortable seat. Deep bucket seating with good padding and support. The shoulder pads are removable.
- No rethread harness. Yes! This is a feature I really wanted but my current seat does not have. This makes adjusting the straps as your baby grows so easy. Simply squeeze the handle and pull up on the head rest to adjust to the best fit for your baby.
- Oversized sun shade/canopy. The canopy is much larger than on my current seat and I like how much protection it provides to baby.
- Safety Features - Sensor Safe chest clip. I hadn't heard of this technology until now and it is great! Simply download the app and pair the device to your phone. The app shows you the temperature so you know if baby is too hot or too cold, alerts you when the chest clip is buckled and unbuckled, alerts that baby is still in the car if you get too far away from the vehicle (in my experience once I was about 20 feet away I started getting alerts on my phone that my child was still in the vehicle), and alerts if your child has been in the seat too long (I left the clip buckled to test this and got an alert at the two hour mark).
- Anti rebound bar/base. I love the anti rebound bar feature on the base. It is a feature I wanted but don't have on my current seat. I just feel like it's an extra layer of protection in the event of an accident.
- Solid and Sturdy Base. The base was super simple to install and once it was locked in place it didn't budge! It's not going anywhere and that makes me feel good about using this seat for my baby.
- Stroller and car seat combo/Space Saver - Obviously the main feature of this product is the fact that it is a stroller and car seat in one. The fact that the stroller is built in has saved me so much trunk space! There are two handles on the back of the seat. Once I could remember which handle did what, converting from car seat to stroller and back was a breeze.
- Wheels can stay in the base! Don't need a stroller and don't want to lug around the extra weight of the wheels? No problem! Squeeze the top handle on the seat to release just the car seat from the base. The wheels stay attached to the base in the vehicle. Such a unique feature that you won't find in the competitor's product!
Cons: (There aren't many!)
- Lack of storage. This is the only major down side I found with this product. I haul a lot of stuff, apparently, and I struggled not having the storage basket under the seat for the diaper bag, blanket, a couple toys, etc.
- Straps are pretty soft and I they seem to twist easily in the buckle area. They're easy to get back in to place and this isn't a major issue. Just something I noticed that I haven't experienced with other seats.
- Button to loosen straps was kind of hard to get too and the straps were kind of difficult to get loose. Again, minor issue and by no means a deal breaker, but I did struggle at times to loosen the straps.
As you can see, overall the pros of this car seat/stroller combo far outweigh the cons. I would recommend this car seat to my friends and family any day!

Life saver for moms on the go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel for an honest review. This car seat is like a dream come true.
Pros:
- thick padding
- extremely easy to set up.
- the anti rebound base seems very secure. I especially like the locking feature of the latch strap into the base to keep it extra tight.
- app alerts you when the chest buckle is undone which when you have a super helpful 5 year old that wants to help gives you added peace of mind.
- ITS A FREAKING STROLLER! This is so much easier than having to tote a separate stroller in the back of my SUV and move them in and out of the stroller.
- you can leave the stroller part in the base for easier carrying.
- handle is long enough to comfortably push even as a tall female.
- sunshade extends almost all the way over to cover baby at almost any angle and the internal structure is flexible to easily maneuver around the handle.
- stroller wheels unfold with a click of a latch. And lock in place securely.
- if you don't extend the stroller handle it's the perfect height for a very helpful 5 year old to easily push through a grocery store.
Cons:
- because of the wheels the base is wider than a standard infant seat so it takes a little fancy rearranging if you need to fit 3 car seats across. I drive a Subaru Forester and can fit this car seat, a standard high back booster, and a convertible car seat safely but it's tight.
- it is heavy with the wheels attached. it is fairly close to the weight of a normal stroller which makes it awkward to get out of my SUV in the middle seat without climbing into the back seat. Though it is normal infant seat weight without the wheels.
- app can be glitchy. The app is linked to the chest strap being clipped and unclipped. However it cannot tell if you are still in a car or not. If your phone is further than 10 ft away from the seat when buckled it will start alerting child in car. One day my phone started going off 45 minutes after I dropped my son off at daycare because I left my phone in the car when I took my son in so it didn't register the chest clip getting unbuckled, not sure why it waited 45 minutes to start the alert but it wouldn't turn off and I have to force shut down the app.
- it takes getting used the releases. There is an upper release and a lower release and it depends if you want just the car seat or the stroller wheels you use a different release. Then the upper release opens the stroller feature and the lower one folds the wheels. Took me about a week to get this all straight.
- wheels are definitely city only they do great in pavement and through stores but you cannot maneuver it over anything else and even walking on a sidewalk the divisions of the sidewalk segments are enough to make it rattle a bit.
- no under seat storage like a normal stroller, but you can buy a bag that attaches to it for storage.
Overall I would definitely recommend this to another mom. It makes taking your child out and about much simpler. When you have multiple little ones sometimes you don't have the time to be distracted by getting a stroller set up and watching to make sure they are staying safe so this is a quick easy way to get out and about with multiple littles.

Very convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Evenflo Shyft Dual Ride Car Seat and Stroller Combo is very useful. Given that it turns from a car seat to a stroller without having to attach or detach anything is convenient. If you’re going on a trip, and need room for luggage or groceries, having this stroller will give you the space you need in your trunk. The car seat is also very nice and looks comfortable. It also comes with a cup holder that can be attached and the canopy gives the baby plenty of shade. My son hates being in car seats but has been adjusting pretty well to this one. Turning the car seat into a stroller was a little hard in the beginning, but the more you use it the easier it gets. The instructions were included and were very helpful. It helped me install the base without any issues. Im enjoying the Bluetooth SensorSafe chest clip. I immediately downloaded the app and it connected with the car seat easily. It tells you how warm or cold the baby is and also alerts you if the baby has been in the car seat for too long. It also allows you to add other family members and alerts them if the baby is in danger. The only downside of the car seat and stroller combo is that it’s bulky when it’s on the base and it limits seat space. However, I do like how the wheels do not touch the car seats. My favorite feature, overall, is the Sensor Safe chest clip and how it can turn from a car seat into a stroller in seconds. I definitely recommend this car seat and stroller combo to the moms and dads who are always on the go and in and out of their car. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this infant car seat.

Practical and ingenious!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With having our third little one in under three years, my husband and I were in the need for a new infant car seat and stroller that would work with our needs. I was delighted for the chance to test out the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was so excited to try it out as soon as we received it, for I had heard of and seen other people out with similar ones of them before and thought how clever they were, but never got one for myself. This stroller/car seat combo is so ingenious and provides a nifty and convenient way to be able to be more mobile and compact with my traveling with my little ones. I was hesitant at first, for the stroller handle bar seems to be a little wobbly and the wheels meant just for flat services, but it still held up well. I think perhaps it could be a little sturdier and feel more solid and not so shaky, but it did the job and what its purpose is for. We get out baby in the car seat and are able to either keep the wheels in the base of the car seat in the car, or keep them attached to the car seat so it can turn into a stroller. The convenience factor here is second to none. No having to open up the trunk and get the stroller out or take baby out of the car seat. Simply take the car seat stroller combo in and out of the car for stroller availability and open it up and be on your way! It is a bit of a minimalist looking stroller, but I do like that it comes with the adult cup holder and storage bag attachment. These I think are musts when you are shopping around or heading out somewhere like an event or to church.
One downside I do think is that it is very heavy, especially with baby in it. Obviously the car seat is lighter without the wheel attachment (when they stay in the base), but so often I would rather keep the wheels with the car seat so that I can utilize it as a stroller, it is just very heavy to get in and out of the car. I wish it could be lighter. The bluetooth safety feature is nifty as well and provides peace of mind for me. Even my older son enjoyed pushing around his baby sister in the stroller! This combo is beyond easy to use and figure out, not too difficult to maneuver, convenient, and safe.

Perfect for Quick Errands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Comb. It is perfect as an everyday car seat and as a stroller for quick errands. It has been a life saver for when I need to drop my toddler off at daycare with infant in tow. I just pull the car seat out of the car, pop open the stroller wheels, and am able to easily maneuver with my baby and toddler.
My favorite feature is the SensorSafe chest clip. Once you install the app, it will alert you if the car seat is left buckled and your phone exceeds a set distance from the seat. It gives extra peace of mind that on those hectic days you won't accidentally leave a sleeping baby in the car.
The base was easy to install in the car (I used the latch method and installed the wheel guards to protect my seats). The base has an anti-rebound design, which is a nice feature for added safety. I am able to easily lift the car seat (with wheels attached and my 3 month old strapped in) in and out of the car. It is easy to deploy wheels to convert from the car seat to the stroller. I find it difficult to collapse wheels to convert back into a car seat. The car seat with wheels attached (in the collapsed positon) is rather heavy. So I do not recommend carrying it in that configuration. But you are able to leave the wheels attached to the base and just remove the seat if you want to use it as an infant carrier.
As far as this product's use as a stroller, I don't really consider this to be a true stroller. It is more of a car seat with wheels. Perfect for if I need to run a quick errand and don't want to lug around a stroller. I can push the car seat around rather than having to carry it. It works best on smooth, flat surfaces. But it is lacking the stability, maneuverability on various surfaces, and storage that I consider necessary for an everyday stroller (walks around the neighborhood, an afternoon at the park, or a day trip). Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant car seat.

I wish I had this for my older children
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been so excited for a carseat in my life. I was 9 months pregnant when I was given this infant car seat to try as part of the Stellar Panel Testing Panel. Being just a few weeks away from delivering my 3rd baby I had anxiety about how morning drop off would go with my two older girls at school. My girls are 5 and 7 and need me to walk them down to their classrooms and having no extra trunk space in my Honda Pilot for a stroller I didn't know what I was going to do. This carseat stroller combo completely eliminated that worry. It has a built in stroller attached to the base of the infant seat which can either stay on the infant seat or it can be left in the car seat base in the vehicle leaving just the infant carrier to be used. It took a few tries to get used to the handles that opened and closed the stroller legs and to remove them completely. After playing with it a few times I felt very confident in using it when my daughter was born. Fast forward to her birth, my husband brought it up to our room upon discharge and we put our brand new baby girl in it. I have never felt like my child could be any safer than she was in this carseat with the Bluetooth safety sensor. I knew she was safely secured and that gave me so much comfort on our car ride home. Leaving the hospital and being able to wheel her out was such a great feeling. Once we got to the car my husband lowered the legs which made me nervous having to tilt the seat to lower them, but baby was completely fine and I never felt like she was in danger. He secured her seat into the base and she fell asleep on her first car ride. I feel so blessed to have this car seat stroller because I feel like it will give me so much freedom to make spur of the moment family trips. I don't have to worry about packing a stroller, we can just go. I absolutely love that this carseat has a very large canopy that completely covers my baby protecting her against the sun. The only one complaint which is very minimal is that the canopy and handle are the same height. So when we went to put her in the car with the canopy open we had to close it to lift the handle. If the handle was a little taller or canopy a little shorter that would have been perfect. I also love that they even included a clip on beverage holder. That was completely unexpected and a really great feature! This carseat stroller is definitely the best car seat I have ever had. It's comfortable and padded perfectly for my baby and with the safety features makes this the best car seat in the market in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shyft DualRide Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo is absolutely outstanding! Every single feature of this car seat and stroller combo was well thought through and well built. The ease and weight of this combo is unreal! It is so easy to install the base, I love the anti-rebound base. It is easy to take the car seat in and out of the car, it is so light! The buttons to change between stroller to car seat are effortless. The material that the car seat is made of is buttery-soft to the touch. Also, I love that when you are transitioning between the two options, of stroller and car seat, you can choose to leave the wheels in the car seat base with the click of a button. The canopy is awesome & covers the baby keeping her cool and comfortable especially when I go walking in sunny San Diego! The SensorSafe chest clip is absolutely priceless and by far my favorite feature of this awesome carseat and stroller combo! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Evenflo Syft DualRide as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it is an amazing car seat! So convenient for walking around a city and shopping around with your little one. It is super easy to just snap into the wheels and go! And if you don't want to use it as a stroller, the car seat is removable from the wheels and can be carried on its own. Another great feature is the SensorSafe seat belt. This belt gives you peace of mind while out with your baby as it alerts you if your child’s seat belt becomes unbuckled or has been buckled for too long. One thing we did have a hard time with at first was getting the handle into the right position so it would go into “stroller mode”, but once we figured it out it was very easy to do! Another thing is that the stroller is a bit heavy when it is attached to the wheels and can be hard to carry. All in all, I would highly recommend this stroller, it is so convenient, safe, and stylish!

The car seat stroller combo has made school pickup, trips to the store, etc so much easier. I also love the sensor safe chest clip and the anti-rebound base. Car seat or transformer?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this car seat 2 weeks ago to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and immediately put it to use! A few things to note - I am a mom of 4 and drive a Toyota Highlander! I have the bench option in my middle row with 2 other forward-facing seats and this seat fits wonderfully! It also freed up my cargo space as I did not need to lug around our stroller! I call that a win/win! Installing the base was straightforward, and the design leaves little room for error! The car seat itself comes with 2 levers on the back that are dual-purpose - The top opens up the wheels turning the car seat into a stroller. The bottom folds the wheels back in changing the stroller back into the car seat. Additionally, when the seat is placed in the car the top lever releases the seat without the wheels, while the bottom lever is used to remove the car seat with the wheels! Having the ability to take the seat out without the wheels is huge as it is very heavy to lug around with the wheels! Just lifting my 18-pound 6-month-old into the car after folding the seat from the stroller into the car is a bit of a challenge. For the first few uses, I found the multiple levers to be challenging, and folding the wheels in was a bit frustrating. I started out sweeping the wheels with my leg to get it to collapse into itself, but after a few uses have mastered picking it up and folding the legs in. One of my biggest complaints about this seat is at the price point I expected the wheels to be better quality. I have used the seat on multiple terrains from sidewalks, to gravel, the street, to mulch at the zoo and the ride is definitely best on sidewalks or casual strolls while shopping. If I were to preempt needing to use the stroller in other scenarios I would opt to pack a traditional stroller. With that in mind though the stroller in the best conditions takes tight turns, glides nicely, and the wheels are super easy to lock and unlock!
The car seat comes with some awesome safety features and with the installation of the Evenflo app, they are simply sent to your phone. The app will audibly inform you off the safety clip has been opened when it is time to give the baby a break from the car seat, if the temperature is too hot for the baby, and last of all if you have left the baby in the car! We went on a trip and found that the app notifies you every 2 hours or so to give baby a break from the car seat. While making a quick pit stop for one of my older kids I was given the notification that I had left the baby in the car. Now in this instance, he was safe with another adult in the car, but this absolutely could be a life-saving notification in other situations! We also got a temperature notification and with a few easy adjustments to our A/C settings, my son was kept safe from getting too warm!
Overall my pros of the car seat are the safety features available, the ability to remove the stroller wheels, and the space saved in my car that a traditional stroller takes up, as well as the seat coming with a removable cup holder!
My cons are wishing the wheels were better quality, the learning curve, I wish there was an in-between handle setting for the stroller and the lack of luxury touches on the seat as it is still quite the splurge of a baby item.

Dual Emotions about the Dualride
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this Evenflo Shyft Dualride! First of all I absolutely LOVE how cushy and soft this car seat is. Love the adjustable headrest. I also love that it comes with nicely padded strap covers and crotch buckle cover. The maneuverability is great and the material and mechanism for the sun shade are super smooth. I love the concept of the built in stroller, however the mechanism for collapsing the legs could use some work. You’re supposed to tilt the stroller in an awkward way to get the legs to fold in and even then it’s iffy. The only way I found for it to work consistently is to have my foot behind the wheel as a stopper. The handle also feels a little cheaply made and wiggles a bit side to side when fully extended but it doesn’t effect maneuvering at all. The mechanism for dropping the legs for the stroller is smooth, unlike collapsing. I think it would get better with more practice of course. The main other complaints are the wheel size and the over height. The wheels are small and make it difficult to push the stroller over anything that isn’t completely smooth and the overall height of the seat while in stroller mode is a bit low. I am relatively tall at 5’10” but I still think that could use some adjusting. Overall I like the set and my daughter seems very comfortable in it. It doesn’t scrunch her down like her other infant car seat does and we frequently just ride around the house in it for fun. The base is super easy to install and secures tightly down which we love. I’m not one for super technical stuff but the sensor on the clip is great. The app was easy to setup and regular use takes really nothing on my part. The alerts are great and give that extra piece of mind to new and sleep deprived parents. I would recommend this set to new parents looking for a comfy, all in one set for their infant, as long as they aren’t planning on using it for trails or walks on unpaved paths.
