The best thing about this seat is its lightweight if you need to move it between cars, but I hope you don’t have to. I found it very difficult to install in the car and the straps were too short if I needed to install rear facing. The plastic on the bottom stick out out a little bit, so you really need to make sure you have a cover on your seat. I could see this tearing a hole in a seat eventually. The straps seem to be hard to tighten, no matter which way you have it facing. Sometimes one side is loose and one is tight. They also don't come with shoulder strap pads, I would purchase some separately if you can. It rubbed on my sons neck and made marks. It doesn't recline very far, so when my toddler fell asleep his head fell forward a lot and it looked uncomfortable.</span>

It lasts from 5-65 pounds and has a very tall shell so it will actually fit big kids. The seat does take up quite a bit of room front-to-back. My Odyssey is very roomy, but this was close to touching my front seat. The rear-facing foot flips forward, but when the seat was properly installed, it did not make contact with the vehicle seat.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Install was easy but to use the UAS straps you need to use the "inside outside" pull method in order to get it tight (video on youtube). Wish the seat came with an auto leveler as the line on it is in the plastic and super hard to see. Had to use a strip of painter tape so we can see it clearly and then use our best judgment to decide if it was level with the ground.</span>

You are supposed to get it to where you can slide only 2 fingers in. I find it difficult to get to this point. Additionally, I don't know if I like where the straps go across his legs. If this if for safeyty, I am good with it, but I wonder if it will really hold him in. The sensor works on two of them I bought and not on the last one.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this product because I read the reviews and they were pretty good. I also liked the feature for the Sensor Safe. I have a smaller older car and it fits perfectly. Personally I did not think it was hard to install at all. The material is soft and I washed everything before I used it and it came out great. Nothing was messed up or lost its form or softness. I would recommend this car seat to everyone.
The only thing I did not like is that in the details on the website it does not say that the SensorSafe feature cannot be used with cars older than 2008. I am unable to use it and probably would have not chosen this car seat if this would have been mentioned somewhere before.</span>

It's the only brand that we use for carseats and travel systems for our 2 sons. Even the seats we have purchased for grandparent vehicles are Evenflo. We have always been happy with the ease of installation, smoothness of the belts, cup holder size/placement, weight of seat, pricing and safety ratings.
This seat didn't let us down. We utilize this seat for forward facing and installation was a breeze. It fit snug into the captain seats of my Tahoe and there was lot of leg room to the front seat. The harness straps are easily adjustable and clip together with little effort. The only thing about the straps is they seem a little close together. My son sometimes gets red marks on his neck and complains about them. He doesn't complain about the straps in our other seats. The weight of this seat wasn't too bad for me to move. I guess I would say that it was light and not burdensome.
The drawback to this seat is that there are no cup holders. That for me is the biggest negative as there is no where to sit a drink or even a few small toys.
All in all, I would recommend this convertible seat as it is safe and affordable.</span>

I’ve been using this car seat for a couple months now to put it through its paces to form a more thorough opinion, and my analysis thus far is as follows...
The Good:
This car seat is very light particularly for how big it is. With the latch system it is very easy to install and take out of the vehicle making it easy to transport. The straps used for the latch system are much easier to release than the car seat I was using prior to receiving this one which is a big benefit if you plan to move it between vehicles regularly.
Where it falls short:
It is gigantic; so much so that when installing it as a rear facing seat it only fits in our F-150. Due to the reclined position when it’s rear facing it won’t fit in a Mazda6 at all and only fits in a Hyundai Santa Fe if the front seat is all the way forward and relatively upright. Additionally, due to the size of this car seat it is difficult to carry around when traveling (I’d take the heavier car seat over this one when flying for example). The other shortcoming I’ve found so far is position of the release lever for the child restraints is difficult to get to when the seat is rear facing and I find I regularly have to open the Velcro cover over the release just to loosen the restraints enough to get our son out.
Overall Summary:
This is a decent forward facing car seat with plenty of room to grow with your child, but it’s too big for probably most vehicles when rear facing. It’s easy to install and switch between vehicles, and as long as it’s forward facing it’s easy to get the child in and out. It’s nothing fancy and doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but if your main criteria are safety and ability to grow with your child this is an alright option.</span>

There is an arrow on the base of the seat, indicating if your seat it level (which is required). I am able to check this before putting my son into the seat during each ride. In rearfacing mode,the seat moves a little and feels a little flimsy. In rearfacing mode, the top doesn't feel very secure, although most car seats without rearfacing tethers feel the same way.
My son seems comfortable in this (he is 1). The straps lie very close to his neck, resulting in me purchasing shoulder pads to protect my son (which isn't a big deal).
The belt tightening is a little challenging in that you really have to pull to get slack.
Overall, I feel safe putting my son in this seat. This is a great seat to use for your 2nd car.</span>

Most carseats this size are pretty heavy in my opinion. It was a little difficult to get the carseat to latch securely, but after several attempts it was pretty secure. I wish the carseat comes with seatbelt pads as the seatbelt rubs against my child, making it uncomfortable for her. My child seems to be extremely comfortable in it and can get out easily, when it is time to get out. It is very sleek and nice to look at, and the padding is very soft.
I have two concerns: 1. The release button to loosen the straps stuck very tightly the first dozen or so uses. It was very stiff and made both tightening and loosening the belt difficult. After about a dozen uses, it is working very well and is now easy to tighten and loosen. 2. The removable headrest does not stay put well. It gets a little in the way while trying to put my child into the car seat and he easily rips it out and throws it across the car.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As much as I have adored every Evenflo seat I have owned, this one is definitely an exception to that rule. The kickstand paired with less than substantial plastic made for a ridiculously frustrating install. The stand itself tried to fold on several occasions, was extremely difficult to get placed with rolled up towels needed to level it. The plastic on the seat flexed an alarming amount with the pressure of the seatbelt and I'm worried that the feet on the seat will leave horrendous
dents on my car seat. Unfortunately I think they missed the mark on this seat by far.</span>

It would be snug in a smaller vehicle, but in my SUV it works great. It has great cushion and protection for my little guy, and I'm confident that he's comfortable and happy while in it! <span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this car seat about a week ago and was surprised when I opened the box at how big it actually was! It feels very sturdy and has tons of cushions in all the right places so I knew my son would be comfortable in it. The straps were very easy to adjust and I had it ready to buckle him in safely in no time at all. When I installed it in the truck I had no problem getting the seat belt through and tightened. It doesn’t seem like the seat would go anywhere but My son is still rear facing and I do think that I will like the seat better when he is forward facing and I have that extra strap on the back tightened. Overall it is a very good car seat with tons of room for him to grow so we will get plenty of use out of it!</span>

Our baby is glad to be is a nice comfortable carseat. This one should work for him for a long time. I like that the cup holder is removable.</span>

Le SureRide est un si&egrave;ge-auto convertible pouvant &ecirc;tre utilis&eacute; face &agrave; l'arri&egrave;re de 5 &agrave; 40 livres, puis &agrave; l'avant de 22 &agrave; 65 livres. Il ne se convertit pas en mode de rappel.

Yes it is. I took both of my kids seats on Porter. It takes a bit to get them buckled in but it is totally worth it! I was complimented by the staff for bringing them on board. The kids were safer because they were buckled in and I was happier because I was not fighting with them to leave their seatbelts fastened!
