<span itemprop="description">I wanted to love this seat. My husband paid good money for it, and I’m here to warn other parents of the hot mess that is the EvenFlo Platinum symphony LX.
Cons:
•Impossible to install properly in a 2017 Kia Sedona.
•The base of the carseat sits too far off the seat of the vehicle.
•LATCH strap on bottom is too short to be used in a captains chair (middle row of van)
•No installation videos, just a video call to help you install. Holding the phone or tablet for a video call while also wrestling a car seat sounds like the opposite of a convienent solution. Put up a video, WITHOUT ADS, on YouTube for each specific model, would you?
•seat is incredibly light. No metal
Reinforcement which means your child’s safety is left to the plastic bits and foam.
•elastic on cup holders isn’t easily replaced. It’s gonna wear out. And get dirty. Gross.
Pros
•nice color.
Ultimately I’m returning this seat because it’s garbage.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Evenflo seems to be my go to brand for car seats. This seat is a little on the bulky side, but it feels sturdy and my daughter fits in it really nicely. I love that it goes from 5 to 110lbs, so my daughter will fit in it for a long time to come! The fact that it's rollover tested and side impact tested gives me some relief when driving too. It fits nicely in our tiny Nissan Micra with the Evenflo booster seat as well.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought these 3 years ago for my twin boys. Last month a man ran a red light and T-boned my husband and the boys on their way to get donuts going 55 mph. All of the impact was on the backseat. Both of my boys did not have a single injury. Some slight bruising on the collar bones from the harness but they were totally fine. I am so grateful for a great carseat. The insurance had us buy new ones so I bought another set of the same ones. They are worth every penny.</span>

The padding is extremely plush and the plastic is extremely durable and rigid, unlike most or all others I have seen or bought
The sure latch system is by far the best system on the market without any question and without any doubt ... it makes installing, uninstalling, and tightening so unbelievably easy and trouble free that it is just unmatched by any company and by any other system even from EvenFlo
Click it on and off like a seatbelt and then just push down on the seat and it tightens down for you.. the most brilliantly designed system out there. And, lol, no I don’t work for or get paid by EvenFlo.. it’s just that good, you will see.

He rearfaced for a little over a yr until he decided to forward face and now this momma is upset because I wanted to keep him rearfacing since he is still within the limits but I am allowing him to make his own decision on this one since we made it to 2yrs and 1week rearfacing! <span itemprop="description">Nice seat, just a little wide. My son seems to be comfortable in it. It is also hard to tighten the latch system, took a lot of force and time to tighten properly. Love the quick release for the latch though.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We absolutely love our Symphony All-In-One Platinum car seat! I spent hours researching car seat safety reviews and even more time in stores looking at those car seats in person. We ended up choosing the Symphony and a Britax seat but now I wish I had purchased two Symphonys instead. The Britax traps so much heat and causes my son to sweat terribly even on cooler days whereas the Symphony Platinum stays cool to the touch even on 100+ degree days sitting in the car with all the windows up and in direct sunlight in Virginia. The padding is comfortable and fairly easy to remove when it needs to be washed.
Pros:
- Seat stays cool even on the hottest days
- Easy to Install with Sure Latch system (takes less than 2 minutes)
- No re-thread harness adjustment
-Higher height/weight limits for long term use
Cons (Moreso room for improvement):
- Infant padding (upper) slides around, wish it could be secured
- The arrow on the base that has to be level with the ground when installed is difficult to see. This could be colored or made to a bubble level to help ensure a proper installation.
- If there was a way to include an adjustable base (the way some infant carrier bases adjust to obtain a level fit in a vehicle) that would be amazing vice using a rolled towel or pool noodle.
-The harness release trigger could be coated with rubber, because even though it is under the flap of fabric it does get hot.
- Buckle storage slots (great concept), but the buckle seems to fall out quite easily so we don’t even bother using them. Although if the buckle does stay it does help to keep the metal tips cooler.
We really do love this seat and the fact that we can use it for years to come is a huge plus! I will be purchasing a Symphony again for my husband’s truck and for Grandma’s car too!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I absolute adore the Evenflo platinum symphony delux DLX. I went out and bought this seat to take my niece and nephew or friends children around town, it’s the best. I have thus far convinced 3 other people to purchase the all in one car seat for their infants. The auto tightening anchor system is amazing and installation takes me 30 seconds! And the easy adjusting shoulder straps makes it extremely convenient for transitions and going between children, as well as the easy change between forward and rear facing. Being able to switch from rear to forward facing is so wonderful and the convenience is well worth the cost. I will definitely continue to tell all of my friends and family members about this car seat and encourage them all to purchase this seat for their children!</span>

The manufacture date is found on the seat and registration card that comes with the seat. The Symphony seats have an 8 year life span from manufacture date.

The Symphony can be used rear facing from 5-40 pounds, forward facing from 22-65 pounds and then as a high back booster up to 110 pounds.
