My youngest (13m) is having a hard time adjusting to the new seat, but have no reason to believe it&rsquo;s not going to be perfect for her too. We drive a 2021 Kia shortage &amp; the both fit in the back seat, with little room left in the middle seat. No other car seat compares to it and the price is amazing. The easy latch system, convenient strap adjusting, and comfortable fit for baby are just a few of the reasons I love it. I especially love the built in pads on the shoulder straps and the elastic on the cup holders. Little details like this matter when it comes to the toddler stage! It was okay when he was just born but as he got a bit taller, the optional infant head insert pushed his head too far forward so that his chin was to his chest, which is a no no. We ended up taking the extra optional padding out, which helped but I still wasn't 100% happy with his positioning. Now that he can support his head better it's fine but I would not recommend using this one from birth. Other colours of the same model seem to have a better infant insert that would eliminate or minimize the risk I found with this one - I'm not sure why it varies from colour to colour. Its great for safety, size, functionality, and the length of use. What we dont love is when its time to clean it. Its an ordeal. You have to unscrew the cupholders to even remove the covers. Then what about getting to anything that has fallen down into the bottom cracks of the seat (small snacks like cheerios, goodfish, french fries, etc.). Its bearly impossible without completely disassembling the whole seat. Even using a hose to spray it out hasnt done the job. Also the headrest part adjusts to keep their head safe and comfortable as well. It has little slots on the side to hold the strap pieces making it easier to get them in and out. The only downfall I didn't really like was the cup holders, unfortunately the cups will not sit well in them and kept falling out. Also I want to mention it is a little heavy to lift, personally I don't mind it but I know some may. But other than that I absolutely love this car seat and the fact that it keeps my child not only safe but comfortable and happy as well.
