The padded covering is super thin so your child will be feeling that plastic the whole time its in it. Yes its nice that its slim and can be put next to another car seat perfectly but there are so many other brands that are better than this one quality wise.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This seat is good for a grandparents vehicle if you can show them how to properly install it. What the instructions fail to clearly illustrate is that there is a kick stand that needs to extend in order to angle the seat since it does not have a swivel base that stays grounded. Then a significant amount of force needs to be applied with body weight on the seat in order to tighten the straps down enough. Even with the base tight the body of the seat still wobbles due to its thin plastic feeling construction. I am a little concerned about the seats side impact resistance but it claims to be tested. Best check in with the fire department to get the to help test and show you how to properly I stall this one.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Purchased for husbands car (mazda cx-5). It's currently rear facing. Little one is 16 months and tall for her age, she seems to be content. It takes up a lot of room where the passenger seat needs to be moved forward an uncomfortable amount. That said, there isn't a whole ton of leg room in the back seat of that car. Works for the need. There's rarely passengers in that car but when there is, it needs to be removed which is annoying.</span>

Turns out the expensive Dione car seats I had previously bought won’t be good for my toddler as he ages. We rented a sedan and had this carseat rearfacing and the front seats where touching the car seat. My husband is 6 foot 3 and has to put the driver seat all the way back to be comfortable. Also, the seat is a lot deeper. My 9 month old can easily climb out of our graco extend to fit, but she has trouble ( and gets really frustrated) getting out of this one. Over all, its a great car seat for the price.</span>

<span itemprop="description">A very good value for the weight and convertible range but the recline base for the rear facing stinks. The whole seat reclines (including base) so the wide steady base is flat on the seat for the forward facing option only. For this reason I could not get the seat secure enough in the rear facing position. It shifted around more that i was comfortable with and have exchanged it for a model with a full flat base even when reclined. Also the fabric looks like it will wear down fast - had a velcro strap touch it and it pulled the fabric like crazy.</span>

I was looking for something inexpensive and safe and this car seat checks both of those boxes. Overall I find this to be a good purchase. I do find this car seat to be "less than" our Chicco NextFit Zip. The SureRide is more difficult to set up, more difficult to install, and seemingly offer is my child less comfort as there are not shoulder pads or a crotch pad. I do not look forward to uninstalling this car seat to adjust it to be forward facing as the install process was pretty frustrating.</span>

The best thing about this seat is its lightweight if you need to move it between cars, but I hope you don’t have to. I found it very difficult to install in the car and the straps were too short if I needed to install rear facing. The plastic on the bottom stick out out a little bit, so you really need to make sure you have a cover on your seat. I could see this tearing a hole in a seat eventually. The straps seem to be hard to tighten, no matter which way you have it facing. Sometimes one side is loose and one is tight. They also don't come with shoulder strap pads, I would purchase some separately if you can. It rubbed on my sons neck and made marks. It doesn't recline very far, so when my toddler fell asleep his head fell forward a lot and it looked uncomfortable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I think the looks of the car seat are fine. But, I have some issues: I have a difficult time tightening the straps that go over his shoulder. You are supposed to get it to where you can slide only 2 fingers in. I find it difficult to get to this point. Additionally, I don't know if I like where the straps go across his legs. If this if for safeyty, I am good with it, but I wonder if it will really hold him in. The sensor works on two of them I bought and not on the last one.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this product because I read the reviews and they were pretty good. I also liked the feature for the Sensor Safe. I have a smaller older car and it fits perfectly. Personally I did not think it was hard to install at all. The material is soft and I washed everything before I used it and it came out great. Nothing was messed up or lost its form or softness. I would recommend this car seat to everyone.
The only thing I did not like is that in the details on the website it does not say that the SensorSafe feature cannot be used with cars older than 2008. I am unable to use it and probably would have not chosen this car seat if this would have been mentioned somewhere before.</span>

Also, the cup holder I have is slightly different that the one shown on the website (had car seat a couple years now). My only problem I'm now finding is the replacement part for the cup holder. It was never very sturdy and has somehow been lost ( the one shown on the site now seems to be better constructed). I JUST NEED A REPLACEMENT CUP HOLDER. PLEASE MAY A WAY TO REORDER! THAT SHOULD BE A AVAILABLE PART TO REORDER!!!!</span>

It's the only brand that we use for carseats and travel systems for our 2 sons. Even the seats we have purchased for grandparent vehicles are Evenflo. We have always been happy with the ease of installation, smoothness of the belts, cup holder size/placement, weight of seat, pricing and safety ratings.
This seat didn't let us down. We utilize this seat for forward facing and installation was a breeze. It fit snug into the captain seats of my Tahoe and there was lot of leg room to the front seat. The harness straps are easily adjustable and clip together with little effort. The only thing about the straps is they seem a little close together. My son sometimes gets red marks on his neck and complains about them. He doesn't complain about the straps in our other seats. The weight of this seat wasn't too bad for me to move. I guess I would say that it was light and not burdensome.
The drawback to this seat is that there are no cup holders. That for me is the biggest negative as there is no where to sit a drink or even a few small toys.
All in all, I would recommend this convertible seat as it is safe and affordable.</span>
