Its easy to use. Although when I first took it out of the box It wouldn't midst. To fix this problem I added a little bit of salt to the tank and then plugged it back in and turned it back on. That helped make it work. Since then I have not had any further issues with it. I love the fact it has a spot to place a vicks cartridge. Its perfect for during the seasons the air is dry like during winter with heat on. The last humidifier I bought, I had no idea to look for that feature. The filter would get disgusting and moldy after only a few uses and they&rsquo;re not cheap to buy new. After I got through the winter I just threw it away because it wasn&rsquo;t worth dealing with the filter. I recently tried the filter free humidifier and it has made life so much easier. You just add water and turn it on. No disgusting filters to deal with. I honestly don&rsquo;t know why they even make them with a filter at all. My son had got the chest congestion and cough and even cough syrup didnt do justice. So I hooked this humidifier up and was very easy setup. You feel the container with water and you put the little pad in the pocket and that's it. With in about 20 min of my son sitting next to it the cough stopped and he looked and sounded so much better. It works great. Product is very great quality super durable. I love this and definitely reccomend this product. Its round and small so fits anywhere you dont even know it's there. The product was very easy to use and it came with simple instructions. I found visible difference in her sleeping pattern after I started using Vicks humidifier. I really hate the filter ones and can only stomach doing the cleaning two or three times before the machine itself is gross and I toss it. This has been nice, I know it&rsquo;ll need some maintenance soon but I&rsquo;m hoping it&rsquo;ll be easy. I love the mist and the flow from the machine isn&rsquo;t too bothersome at night.
