Hi Sandy130: The Child Craft Wilmington Crib converts into a toddler bed and a full size bed, not a double bed. We do not make any weight claims on the full size bed configuration. It would be the same as the industry standard for a full bed, approximately 500 pounds. Thank you for your interest!
