I read a response to one of the questions below and the company suggested pushing hard till you hear a click. I gave it a try and it snapped right back in and stays attached to the hose connector part. The nose sucker works great and is super gentle IF you have a lot of time and patience to manage the pieces. But at 2AM with a screaming, wriggling, congested baby, who has the time or patience to fiddle with tubes and filters that won't stay attached? We'd use it much more often if it wasn't so tough to keep together.
