She gets super gassy between them so we have tried the gas medicine and while that helps for a little while, we needed something better. So I was excited to be able to use them on my own someday. I now have a two week old and the past couple nights baby girl has been having back arching gas pain. It's heartbreaking as a new mama. We busted out the windi after burping didn't work, tummy massage didn't work, and bicycle kicks didn't work. In less than 5 seconds she got relief. Powerful relief. I'll spare the details. But when they say to have a diaper ready, they mean it. And after we used it, we had a blissful 4 hour chunk of sleep. I don't like to use one every time shes trying to poo because I feel like it's important for her to use those muscles and learn how! They do work if you massage the belly and lift the legs up. Minus one star for the price, which I feel is somewhat ridiculous when you're supposed to use one and throw it way. He wouldn't take a pacifier and wouldn't stop crying no matter the position we held him. We want to try everything we can before putting something in his bottom or medicine. We eventually got to the point that we were going to try this. The video was...funny...yet informative. We lubed it up and gently stuck it in his bottom. After a few seconds of screaming/crying/grunting, a huge release of gas came through...then some other stuff. He cried for a few seconds more, but then...peaceful quietness. We've only used these 4 or 5 times, and some of the time it didn't help because he was annoyed for another reason, but most of the time they worked and we were able to get some relief. I'm going to buy some more so we don't run out. They are very helpful.
