We followed instructions explicitly. More than half the juice leaked out, even though valve was snapped in place. Then after 10 mins of spinning back and forth, there was about a half inch of juice frozen solid to the metal barrels and the remaining juice was just cold liquid. Going to try to return. If not, it's going in the garbage. She was SO excited about it! We just sat down to make it and we were awfully disappointed by the quality of this product considering the fact that we never were able to make slushies. Everything was going great until we couldn&rsquo;t turn the handle any longer. Then, the lid was stuck, taking us 20min to finally open it. Then the juice started leaking into the cups, even though the value was closed.
