I like the color. I think the padding is pretty sufficient. Seems to be easy to take apart and clean when needed. I like the placement of the cup holders. And also that those are easy to clean. In terms of actual functionality, it has multiple positions and reclines to fit your growing child. Price is excellent. I was willing to shell out more money for a premium car seat but they all had something that was a seeming deal breaker. I thought I wanted a rotating car seat and I do think they can be super helpful but I thought the base with the bar would limit space for baby&rsquo;s legs too much (but maybe not). A couple things that weren&rsquo;t dealbreakers for me but that I would prefer to be different- the chest clip is two pinch buttons. I prefer the one button. Seems to be easier with one hand. But I&rsquo;ve gotten used to the two buttons. I also think the clip holders are useless (on almost all brands and models). It takes more time to put them in there than to just get your child in the seat. I haven&rsquo;t had to adjust the straps much with each ride but when you do have to loosen, you have to get under the seat padding. This new model is an awesome upgrade to the beloved DLX line (which are our other 5). This one has some extra hip cushioning which I like as well as thicker shoulder strap cushions. The fabric seems even higher quality and is soft for the kids. I think the DLX line is well worth the upgrade because you can remove the cushions and wash easily without removing the car seat. The seat is easy to install. We opted for the seatbelt approach because we feel it is slightly snugger in our Palisade. It&rsquo;s easy to adjust headrest height when the kids decide to trade seats and there are no complaints - they are very comfortable.
