I send a video to company of a can rolling to one side of the bassinet after being placed in the middle and on the opposite side. I was so scared my son would smoother against the side since there also is no mesh towards the top and bottom. I thought having the changing table/sleeper would be perfect for in the middle of the night. I find it too difficult to take baby out and then flip to the changing table. No biggie, I just set up a changing area right next to it on top of my dresser. I still really like this bassinet and my little one enjoys sleeping in it. However, the mattress is a bit flimsy. My guy is only 11.5 lbs and the mattress caves in in the middle. This started a few weeks ago. I wish I was able to buy the mattress separately. Otherwise, the vibration works well. I don't use it all of the time. And the canopy is a little flimsy - it doesn't stay up all of the way. Unfortunately it quickly became a safety concern. It leans to one side and causes baby to roll to his side. I feel that it is caused by the ends of the bassinet that was made to move due to the changing table option. It does not feel sturdy. I do love the wheels and moving it from room to room. The see through mesh should be all the way around instead of just one end. In the past two months, the mattress has begun to sag at an angle, resulting in the babies rolling and leaning up against the sides of the bassinet, presents a significant safety risk. Additionally, the surface is not easy to clean and change in the middle of the night following spit up. The mattress covers require a delicate wash (so they can't be thrown in with the other laundry) and line dry (so if you have frequent spit ups, you need more than two covers) and are not easy to change quick and quietly in the middle of the night (the mattress is Velcroed down and is loud enough when removed that one of the twins routinely wakes and cries when she hears it.) Flipping it over is fairly easy one handed once you get the hang of it. Two things that Would make it more awesome: 1. Make it somehow able to be used for travel. 2. The issue is the mattress is too thin and firm. Every time I put my sleepy baby in the bassinet, she wakes up and cries. She sleeps better on changing pad or rocker than in this bassinet. My favorite thing about it is the mesh sides, so I could see her without having to get up and without her noticing me. The storage area on the bottom was also very handy to keep extra diapers, wipes, and clothes. I did find it somewhat difficult to flip it from the changer to the bassinet, because trying to squeeze the handle AND press the red safety button with one hand and baby in the other was pretty tricky. Honestly I usually just changed her on our bed and didn't bother. We do now use the changer only, since she has gotten too long to sleep in the bassinet. So while I didn't use all of the options together, they've come in handy at different points in time. If it wasn't so hard to flip, I would have given it 5 stars.
