With a little bit of force they click right in). But the straps are IMPOSSIBLE to use on the daily. My son is rear facing and I have to reach to the back of the carseat and pull from there in order to then tighten the strap at his feet. Not at all a smooth process and feels like they're too loose still EVERY time. I don't know how it'll work when he's forward facing since I'd have to wedge my had behind the back of the carseat to do the same routine. We'll see.</span>

We had issues from the start, we could not get the harness to release correctly, and it wouldn’t pull tight enough on the baby for the pinch test, I could still get my arm inbetween the baby and the harness. This also happened to one we purchased for our first baby about 3 years ago. I really wanted to like it but it was the worst car seat I’ve ever used</span>

<span itemprop="description">The car seat was just ok. The seat felt extremely deep so my toddler never felt quite secure in it. The seatbelt also would loosen during the rides, it would be tight when we left and then slightly loose when I went to take her out again. The fabric was also just not as soft as others. Also the “extend” feature seems impossible to use as there is no room to slide the foot extension out without leaning her back a ton and she’d be riding essentially lying down. This may be user error but it just didn’t seem functional. She also complained about the straps being uncomfortable which she never did before</span>

<span itemprop="description">Terrible! This car seat is impossible to tighten without climbing inside of it and pulling the seatbelt through the cup holder. The tray for babies feet only works if you have car seats deep enough to fit it. My full sized sedan and my parent’s SUV only allow the tray to pull out two inches before the carseat slides off the back of the seat. This thing is so overrated! Super disappointed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Was hoping I would love this seat my best friend suggested Graco because she likes hers but I got extend2fit and not the slimfit. Boy was I wrong. No matter what car, forward or rear facing we’re currently still refacing this seat is near impossible to tighten correctly while on child. My chicco seats have never given me an issue, this one is impossible. If I have to actually put muscle into tightening a car seat it’s not right! We tried to change the belt path because there is one belt that kind of ran over the strap in the middle underneath but this was how it came out of the box but it didn’t change it.
We even brought had our local cspt and pd look at it and both was stumped. This seat is just a no go and will be donated and I’ll probably be going back to chicco seats permanently.</span>

It is super hard to tighten and I even get inside of it and put my weight on it and it still doesn't tighten all the way and still wiggles. I really wanted to love it. But I just can't. It doesn't feel safe at all. Front or rear facing.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This seat is extremely uncomfortable!!! When awake my daughter says “my back hurting” ..shes 2!!! If/ when she falls asleep she ends up chin to his chest which is extremely unsafe for her to ride this way. I’ve tried neck pillows and everything and it’s still so hard for her to sit in a proper position while in the seat. It’s almost like she’s sitting straight up the entire time. It’s not extremely hard to install, However the base is awkward and it makes it hard to take out of the car. Its hard to tighten the actual straps on the carseat, My daughter can take her arms out eith ease.
Its is so hard to clean, with as many pieces that are strapped to it.g is made, it causes my son to sit in a "C" shape with his chin to his chest and his pelvis/hips forward. It looks awful and so extremely uncomfortable. I've messed around with every single option including taking out one of the included car seat pads, adjusting the height of the back of the car seat, and also messing with the recline. Nothing helps. I can tell she's uncomfortable during the car ride. Unfortunately, I bought this carseat 2yrs ago and only just recently opened it and started using it since she was heavy enough to be front facing part of the car seat specs. I had a different car seat as an infant carrier because this one was too hard to try to get an infant and out of each car ride. I’m so disappointed because there’s literally nothing I can do in this car seat is way too expensive to just throw out.
I hope this helps future buyers make a better choice in car seat, but this is definitely a poorly designed seat in my opinion.</span>
