I took it into my room for nap time while I did some work on the computer and in the living room while I did dishes. The changing area is a lifesaver. The Pack n Play itself is the same as always, can't really improve on that, but the accessories have gotten SO much better! Comparing this new model to my older one, they've fixed all of the issues I had. The side basket storage is just the right shape and size with enough room for diapers, wipes, cream, and a toy or two. The metal bars to support the mattress are now attached to the mattress so you can't lose them. The biggest improvements though are the changing table and the bassinet. The changing table was my biggest complaint with the old model, my baby was constantly sliding to one side because it didn't have any support. As you can see in the picture, baby is able to lay flat without sliding now due to the added pieces that rest on the sides of the Pack n Play and changing diapers is much easier. Having the bassinet removable is the other major improvement. Not only can you easily move where baby sleeps from nursery to your room, to the living room, but the height is adjustable so you don't have to break your back in the middle of the night. The top height is actually close to the top of my mattress which is great considering I have a tall bed. The only complaint I have about this product are the wheels. My older model has rubber wheels and this one has smaller plastic wheels. Also, if there was a way to have the wheels stick out of the bag when the Pack n Play is stored that would be extremely helpful when trying to carry it through an airport with a baby and everything else you have to travel with. At this price I think they should include a sheet for the mattress as well. First of all, safe sleep is huge and I can rest assured knowing she is safe in the bassinet. Second, the diaper changing station is essential. The supply caddy on the side is so handy and makes those groggy midnight diapers much easier. Right out of the box I noticed how high-quality the materials are. The mattress pad in both the play yard and the bassinet are super plush and comfy, but I'm afraid the white color in the bassinet will not hold up well to spit up stains. One unique feature of this play yard is the removable bassinet, although it was difficult to put together. While putting the metal rods into place, one of the metal buttons fell inside the rod and had to be retrieved with some pliers. Not the end of the world, but a little annoying. The bassinet is somewhat heavy and clunky, although sturdy for when it stands alone. One thing, however, is that the base of the bassinet that sits on the floor is also what is placed into the play yard and sits on the mattress pad. I am concerned this brings the floor germs into the bassinet area where baby may lay, and may also get the light gray pad dirty quickly. I can see using the bassinet as a stand-alone feature, and then using the play yard as a changing station and play yard instead of placing the bassinet into the play yard. It is extremely easy to adjust the height, as well as move it from the play yard to another room to bring my baby with me. This is an interesting feature- I like the idea of it, but my baby rarely sleeps in a bassinet, so for us, babywearing is more convenient for keeping baby close and content. One of the things I really love about this play yard is the sturdiness of the changing table attachment. It attaches both on the side, but also underneath and seems like it will hold up well as my baby grows and gets heavier. It also has a really nice diaper storage attachment which helps keep diaper changing supplies handy. I love that feature! I also really love that it folds easily and can be taken for trips in the included storage bag. This is a great play yard that will be able to be used from birth all the way through toddlerhood, even if we don't use that bassinet feature a whole lot. I also love the padded changing station feature. It was conveinent to have it right on the pack and play to do a quick change while baby stays happy and comfortable. Before having this product, I found myself putting the baby on our bed or on the floor. This gives the perfect height for an easy diaper change without having to bend over or kneel on the floor. There is an area attached to the side of the pack and play where we stored diapers, wipes, and diaper rash cream. The fabric on this product is neutral, soft, washable, and breathable. It sets up easy, it's fairly light, it has a changing table, it has a raised bassinet, it has an organization center, and bonus it has a mobile bassinet that raises and lowers for an extra way to keep the LO nearby. We've used this as a second crib in our room for the LO to nap, unfortunately no traveling yet with it. The movable bassinet is great to have to LO nearby while cooking or binge watching a show. This is a great setup and has all the bells and whistles you'd need. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is it's not quite as easy as some to swing the changing table out of the way. This one requires two hands to unhook it and store it elsewhere, but it is the most sturdy changing table on a portable crib I've used. The other reason for 4 stars is the removable bassinet is basically a secondary piece. It doesn't collapse down to pack away with the rest. Which to me means it won't travel with us cause I'll forget it. But if that's not a problem, this is a great product that does everything needed. First off, it is so easy to put together I was able to put it together by myself within 5 minutes. I usually have a hard time putting pack n plays together but this one was very simple and easy. Another thing I love about it is the neutral color, it would be perfect for a boy or a girl and looks like a high end brand pack n play. I love the bassinet part as well, it's sturdy and light in weight so I can move it around the house easily for my daughter to nap in when I want her closer to me. I love how it has a little changing table, it makes it so convenient to change her diaper on it if needed. I high recommend this pack n play &amp; bassinet to other moms, you won't regret buying it! I have been in search of a multi-functioning playard that can stay in the living room to avoid constantly returning to her room when I need things or stress where to safely lay her down when I want her nearby. The Pack &lsquo;n Play Day2Dream Bassinet Playard checked off everything I was looking for. I like knowing it will grow with her when she outgrows the bassinet. I have been using this playard as a safe central location in my house to lay her down when she is awake, for her naps, and for diaper changes. My favorite feature is that it is an organized baby station that can easily go where I go around the house (there&rsquo;s wheels on one side of the playard) without causing clutter or making my entire living room look like my baby&rsquo;s second room. I love the removable bassinet. It has the right amount of space to make my daughter feel comfortable, and I like that I can attach her hanging toys to it. The mattress pad is soft to the touch and provides the ideal amount of support. While the bassinet is in the playard, it is stable and level even when she is moving around. I can easily remove the bassinet from the playard to another location, and I can easily place it back inside the playard. I like that it has 3 different height options for when I am standing, sitting, or at floor level. It is very easy to adjust the height and maintains good stability at all levels. The portability of it is a big plus. I have used it while I am relaxing on the couch and she is asleep right next to me. I have also used it inside the playard while she is asleep and awake. It is very helpful to have this portable safe sleep space so I do not have to worry about checking in on her in another room and can easily calm her down to go back to sleep. The diaper changing area is great with the exception that it is lower than the standard height of a changing table. You can easily wipe away any mess that could occur during a diaper change. I like that there are compartments on the side where I can store her diapers, baby wipes, and other baby items. The only con I can think of is the main playard is too heavy to comfortably travel outside of the house with. The set up can also be frustrating if you do not read the instructions first (locking all sides first before pushing down on the center). If you are looking for a playard to take on the road, this might not be the right choice for you. The main playard does fold in a compact way with a cover for storage. The bassinet does not fold. There is no compact way to store the changing table and mid-level flooring. I purchased a similar playard set with a changer (without the portable bassinet) from a competitor before my son was born at a higher price point. Note that I was given the Pack 'n Play Day2Dream Bassinet Playard in exchange for my honest review through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall: - I like the set a lot, it would be a great gift for expecting parents and cover them until their baby is ready to go to a crib or to create an extra safe place to sleep in 1-2 other areas of the home, like I did in my home. - The setup of everything took me 45 minutes and I overall I found it easy to assemble with no tools required. The portable bassinet was a bit tricky for me but I figured it out. - For me, the playard itself was great for downstairs and is very functional with its own changing station which I use for daytime diaper changes. The portable bassinet is great inserted into the playard when a baby is smaller or moved around the house during the day and put bedside at night. The adjustable height options of the portable bassinet are great for the kitchen when cooking, the couch, and bedside. The mattress fabric inside is so soft and I appreciate the mesh sides so I can easily peak at baby. The portable bassinet is also a good weight for carrying around the house, it's not too heavy. - The parent organizer is well constructed, holds even thick cloth diapers, and stays on well. The competitor&rsquo;s organizer has fallen off a couple of times. I can also easily remove the changing area which I cannot easily do with the competitor's playard. - The playard mattress has a nice weight to it and folds up for easy travel so I was able to fold a large swaddle over the mattress and under the sides of it and use it as a fitted sheet so didn&rsquo;t have to purchase sheets for the bassinet portion of the playard. If you did choose to purchase sheets, they would be very easy to change, which is not true for the other playard that I have from a competitor - this is important because spitup and leaks happen. - And lastly, this works as a pack and play and is easy to roll around the house with wheels on one side and take apart and travel with in the included travel bag. In terms of what could be improved, the material lining the changing pad at least in the color I have, Mills Fashion (grey and green), was stained on day one and I haven't yet been able to remove the stain following the manufacturer's instructions (wet cloth for changing pad or warm cloth with household soap and air dried for playard). I am able to store all of my baby's diaper changing essentials and even a few outfits in the organizer. Once your baby out grows the bassinet playard you can use the bottom portion of the playard. It is the perfect place to let baby take a nap, or just to have a safe spot to put your baby. The playard can be used until your child weighs 30 lbs, or tries to escape! My toddler is 2 and has plenty of room to take a nap in the playard. The playard is also great for travel. It was a little difficult to go through the assembly after receiving it. The instructions were ok, but I think they could have been a little more thorough. After getting it all put together, I was really happy with its features. The main body of the pack &lsquo;n play is easy to set up and break down. I like the fact that you can use what they call the &ldquo;play yard bassinet&rdquo; to essentially raise up the bottom of the pack &lsquo;n play. This makes it so you don&rsquo;t have to bend all the way down when putting your baby in or out. My four month old son has spent the most amount of time in the portable bassinet. It will sit inside the play yard when at its lowest setting, which puts the baby at a very convenient height. You can also pull out the portable bassinet and set it on the floor. It has 3 height settings that are very easy to adjust. I wouldn&rsquo;t mind the top setting being a little higher, but they probably didn&rsquo;t want it much higher from a safety and stability standpoint. I think the portable bassinet is my favorite part of the whole system. There is also a diaper changing pad that clips to the top of the pack &lsquo;n play. It takes up a little less than half of the pack &lsquo;n play, and the portable bassinet can sit in the remaining space. The diaper changing pad is great. It&rsquo;s pretty easy to install and clips securely to the frame. The material it&rsquo;s made from is very easy to wipe clean. Additionally, there is a storage organizer that mounts on the outside of the play yard. This is probably the weakest part of the whole system. Even when installed correctly, it doesn&rsquo;t feel very sturdy or secure. It functions just fine, it would be nice if it was just a little more stable. The play yard had a changing area which was great for changing diapers in my office, away from her bedroom with the changing table. The removable storage on the playard makes it easy to store some extra diapers, wipes and ointment. Plus with an easy push button fold and carry bag, this will be great for when we get back to travel and visiting family again. The only thing I would change about the bassinet would be the fact that the handle and shade can&rsquo;t be removed but it&rsquo;s not a deal breaker for us.
