You can start using the bassinet and once baby is bigger move baby to the crib with the pad in the highest setting and then in the lower. The bassinet is portable. So it works when you need to have baby sleeping elsewhere in the house or when traveling. The changing pad was used a lot by us. Once my baby is bigger, I can even turn it into a bed where my baby can crawl on by herself. Just cut one of the sides and leave it open for toddler to go in and out and you can cover it with a crib fitted sheet and make it more secluded and fun for your kid to play and take naps inside.
It can be a bit tricky to put together but just watch a youtube video if you don’t wanna follow the manual.</span>

To start of, I got it in gray color as it’s gender neutral. The bed can be adjusted up or down, to convert it into a playard. The bouncer is very useful in that i don’t need to necessarily put a battery in it to use it in the vibrator mode only, I can move it manually. The diaper changing pad has a good durable waterproof material so it’s easy to clean. I keep that on the playard during day time and remove it only at night. The storage rack on the side is useful to stack all the baby essentials I need at hand. All in all, it’s a complete baby gear package at a good cost!</span>

We used every feature of it and never had any issues that customer service didn’t take care of right away; the only issue we ever had was the clip for the side baskets broke and customer service sent a new set free of charge. The bassinet setting was super easy to use and baby slept well in it. The bouncer was a great place to put baby down for a few minutes. Baby quickly outgrow the changing table part, but it was so convenient during middle of the night changes.
We would definitely recommend this play yard and would buy one again if it’s ever needed.</span>

My main complaint is that once we were finally using the bassinet part of our pack and play, in order to use the changing table portion, you would have to assemble and disassemble it. The pins in the side of the changing table were so small that it took some work to even get off. I think it would be helpful to have larger push pins to get the changing table in and out easier as well as making the changing table free standing to operate without needing to be attached. Ever since our son has been sleeping in the bassinet we have not been able to utilize the changing table. It’s a great feature that I wish we could continue using.</span>

This was an incredible value for all that it gives you. I love the colors because they are gender neutral and very modern. I’ve always used Graco and this newer pack n’ play proved to be just as good as the items I’ve used before. The updated features (quick connect) are a huge time saver and the portability is amazing. Thank you for reaching out to Graco Baby! For the Quick Connect Playard with Portable Lounger, the Lounger and the Bassinet are not the same feature. The Portable Lounger is a removeable seat for you to keep your little one by your side as you move around the home. The Bassinet is a raised bassinet feature for your newborn to sleep in safely. For the safety of your child, we do not recommend adding any aftermarket mattresses or soft bedding to playards. Please be sure to review the manual for all safety guidelines prior to using your playard, and if you have question about safe sleep, please reach out to your pediatrician.
