I liked my car seat for the first month, as I didn&rsquo;t really go many places. Now that I&rsquo;m out and about often(baby is 5 months old), I&rsquo;m realizing how difficult this is to remove from its base. It&rsquo;s aggravating. I have woken my baby from his sleep, which it&rsquo;s already difficult to get him to nap, every time I try to get this out of the base. I have had other Graco car seats that have not given me this much trouble in removing from the base. Installation was simple, following the instructions and when our baby was born it was a great fit. When my baby was 11 days old we were in an car accident that resulted in all air bags being deployed and our car totaled. Our baby was perfectly safe in her Snugride carseat and unaffected by the crash. She was unharmed and calm. I trust this seat to keep her safe because of that experience and am buying it again to replace the one that was in the crash. I am scared to put my baby in this car seat.
