It was extremely easy to follow the directions and put together, it probably took about 30 minutes to do. While it was very cute, I personally did not appreciate all the white. The color white is a parent's worst enemy and I feel will have to be cleaned often. I like how the swing legs didn't take up a lot of space and how you plugged it in instead of using batteries. It's very simple to use and the rocker goes on and off very easily. The rocker is very useful. I love the handles to carry it around and the vibration mode. The toy bar kind of leans to one side and is very simple but we still use it. My little guy looks very happy and comfortable everytime we use this swing and rocker combo. Especially if you're in a smaller space, or like to minimize the amount of separate baby items you have, it's a great option to utilize for multiple benefits. Instructions were easy to follow as there was some assembly required. My favorite overall feature of this item was how easy it was to change the direction of the seat to swing either side-to-side or front to back in both directions. Handles on the side made it extremely easy to pull the seat to become a rocker, yet once on the swing arm it felt very secure for baby. The harness is akin to a high-chair harness. It is adjustable, but thin straps and not very comfortable. I could see the design of this improving slightly for comfort and ease of use. The side of the unit is nice. My baby is slightly older at nine months to start utilizing, but even with his 98% for height to age he was able to comfortably fit in the chair. I do see the most benefit gained from utilizing at a much younger age however. Speed selections for the swing were nice; it does help to get the momentum started by pushing the swing gently to start. The vibration in the seat was not something I found myself using much, or noticed much either way by my baby. The toy bar I was excited to use, however the two included plush toy stars connect with a very small piece of Velcro which didn't always stay on, or was removed very quickly by baby. I do think it is a great idea however as babies seem to like to focus on looking at and grabbing at something while in the chair. Overall, I do recommend this baby rocker and swing to others. The material, with the exception of the harness, is soft, attractive and comfortable for baby. It's extremely easy to change between functions and directions in the swing. We recently moved homes and no longer had a huge amount of space for baby items so this was perfect for functionality in our home and also allowed for portability when my wife and I swapped who was watching the baby. The clip on/off function makes life so easy for the busy family, especially with us all working from home while still trying to parent during covid. The fact that you can pick up the seat and easily remove it from the swing is key -- you can take baby with you wherever you need to go! The motion seemed to appeal to my son -- he quickly fell asleep in the swing.The seat is very soft and seemingly comfy. The harness straps are a little strange, as you need to thread the straps together in order to engage the five-point harness, but it's pretty easy. My baby really enjoyed the toy bar, but the one drawback there was that the bar easily snaps off and as my baby has grown larger, he is easily able to grab the toy bar and remove it. I would suggest a stronger attachment in the future! All-in all the swing works well for our needs. I needed something to replace an older rocker we had and this did the trick. The sheer amount of stuff you need for multiple babies is crazy, so when I was given the opportunity to have a soothe and sway for my boys I was absolutely elated! They are far more compact than other swings but still really effective and powerful. I LOVE that I can have less 'stuff' but still not less of what I need. The portable nature of the detachable rocker is insanely convenient when you're trying to keep 2 babies entertained and still actually get stuff done during the day. My favorite part is that the swing part takes up about as much space as an infant car seat but really packs a punch. I've had swings before that have legs that have to spread all the way out and they practically take up as much space as a crib. Trying to find shave for 2 of these nice and slim bad boys just wasn't an issue at all! The toys are simple but cute. It'd be ready to attach other toys that are more reachable if you wanted to though. Clipping the rocker in and out of the swing base is really really easy, and it's very light to carry around. I have a lot of thoughts about it, most are positive, but a few negative - hopefully to help Graco improve the swing where possible. Overall, this is the best swing I've ever used for my babies. My 3 month old loves it! And my smaller home loves the footprint. The swing is about half the size of others, and does not take up nearly as much space as most swings. Despite that, it still has incredible strength and a good, powerful swing on it. The noise is soothing and it's actually the ONLY place my baby will sleep outside of being held. So for that, I am extremely grateful. The vibration feature is a really nice touch that helps keep her asleep while swining. And I like the seat design - it feels sturdy and secure without being a hazard like some seats are for babies where their head looks smooshed. The assembly was very easy, but this is where I have some things Graco could do better. The base of the swing - the metal bars that attach the seat to the base - are extremely flimsy. The button mechanism popped out and my husband had to try to get it back with a needle nose plier. Not super secure and a little alarming. The seat is also a little short, I would expect it to be slightly longer - but I also have long babies. Overall, the materials do not look very high quality on the seat itself. That being said, putting it together was super easy, and I love the functionality of moving the seat from a swing setup to a bouncer. I was impressed honestly. We like the fastest setting, but if you&rsquo;re using on a smaller babe, you honestly could use the slowest one! The engine on this little swing is strong! My baby falls asleep whenever he&rsquo;s in it, which I appreciate. I also have luck moving him into it after he falls asleep when Dad and I want to watch movies at night, and he&rsquo;ll stay asleep the whole time. It seems comfortable for him, and I love it! The toy bar is simple, by my baby likes pulling the stars off and biting them. The swing is cute too! Simple, but really easy on the eyes. We loved being able to easily move our baby from room to room while they were sleeping. This is especially convenient when you have a busy toddler who you also have to keep an eye on! Our son would usually fall asleep in the swing in the living room and we would easily move him from room to room in the rocker as we chased our toddler around. It transforms easily from swing to rocker and back again. While awake, my son loved looking at the toys on the toy bar to keep him entertained. When he was fussy and we were away from the swing base, the calming vibration on the rocker would lull him right back to sleep unit we were back in the living room. When we were in the living room we would put the rocker back onto the swing in on easy motion and we were good to go again! The swing base is compact, so it doesn't take up much valuable floor space like a traditional swing. It still has all the full size swing features such as recline, variable swing speeds, toy bar, five point harness and a nice plush seat cover. The one complaint I have is with the smoothness of the swinging motion for a newborn baby while on high. Once baby was over a month old the high speed was fine, for a newborn just use the lowest speed. Overall this is a great swing that will last us quite some time. Assembly was so-so. The directions were a bit vague. I did not like that the stars on the toy bar were attached by velcro. Before this swing, I would feel so stressed and rushed trying to take a shower in the morning. I would try to keep my newborn entertained through the glass door in my shower and I was lucky to get 5 minutes. I loved that I could put baby in the portable swing and set him right outside the shower. Then I could take him back upstairs and attach him back into the swing where he would sit and play while we had breakfast. My mornings were back! Yes! My son loved the vibration feature and it was really nice having the different speed settings. This set was really easy to use and to carry around the house as needed. The only feature I didn't like was the toy bar, the plush toys were not enough to keep my baby entertained. He could not reach them and they were too basic and simple so the entire toy bar seemed unnecessary. It would be nice to have a more interactive toy for them. I was very excited to try out this swing for my 7 month old. She enjoys swinging typically, so I was eager to try out all the different features of this swing, especially being able to transition between a swing and rocker. I thought the swing was slightly difficult to assemble by myself, but my more mechanically inclined husband, was able to finish assembling it somewhat easier. I really like how attractive this swing is. The footprint is much smaller than the swing we had been using, which is very nice. It is just does not seem as bulky and tall in our living room. My daughter loves the arch with the dangling stars, which keeps her entertained for awhile. On the flip side, because this swing is somewhat smaller and shorter, my older toddlers are able to reach the controls and vibration settings (irritating for me and my daughter). I think it is somewhat difficult to detach the seat to transition to the rocker, so we haven&rsquo;t done that too much. I also wish this swing had the ability to play music instead of just vibrating. Overall, I think this swing is fine. That being said I will still provide a fair and honest review. I was shocked by how amazing the swing has been to us. My daughter is seven months in about 16-17 pounds and was recently rejecting her expensive more &quot;modern&quot; swing by rocking back and fourth or crying when placing her into it. To my surprise she will sit in this Graco sooth n sway all day if I let her! The seat of this swing sits the baby deep so my daughter is very comfortable and has room to grow in it even at 7 months. It also vibrates which is awesome! My daughter has never cried or attempted to rock in it since we've started using it was my main concern. The seat reclines so I am able to adjust her comfort which she loves. The one down side I have found was the mobile attachment is easily detached by my daughter so we have chosen to keep it off. The rocker functionality has been great! It's easy to take off and I'm able to bring the rocker with me into other rooms with me to keep her near by. I able to get things done without having to worry about having to move from seat to seat her to keep her comfortable and entertained. What I love most about this product is its size. It has a very small footprint and would work well in small spaces/homes. When pregnant I lived in a very small condo and felt limited to the type of swing I could use so I settled with a more modern nontraditional swing that had a very small footprint. Had I known about this swing I would've gotten this instead. This swing is much smaller than the traditional swing and could've worked well for my space and baby from early on. I truly feel that this product is my unicorn swing. Just when I thought it was time to move on from the swing and hold my daughter in my arms all day, this swing came along and has allowed me the free time I thought I lost. I am amazed at the quality and the many functionalities this seat has. It has a nice neutral design and would work well in any space. I am all about products that can be used as more than one thing, so for this to be both a swing and a rocker... i was pretty excited about that. It clicked together and closed with snaps pretty easily. Some of the snaps were harder to connect, but all of the pulling to close just made me feel like it was tighter and ultimately more secure for baby. I started with it as a swing (so seat facing forward), but it's SUPER easy to transform into a rocker. It's almost like removing your infant car seat from the base to switch it to the stroller-- you just stand on the base/feet and click out the seat part so that it's fully removed from the swing. You can use the swing facing front, or you can remove the seat and click it back perpendicularly so that the seat is facing right or left. To use it as a rocker, just remove the entire seat from the &quot;lswing legs&quot; and put it on the floor. The &quot;rocker legs&quot; stay on the seat even when it's popped in as a swing, so to use it as a rocker just remove it and put it on the floor. The whole &quot;rocker&quot; is what swings in the swing, if that makes sense. The seat itself has a 5 point harness which means even if you use it with a bit of an older, wigglier baby they are super secure. It has a vibration feature but my baby has never loved a vibrating seat so I probably won't be using that feature. I'd definitely recommend this to a friend, especially someone who may be limited in space since it is basically 2 products in 1. Another feature I loved is that you can easily move the toy bar up when getting baby out with out having to take it off. My favorite thing about this swing was its sleek design and smaller footprint. My baby promptly had a blowout and the cover was easy to remove, wash and replace. My favorite part is how easy it is to remove the chair and use it as a rocker so I can take baby with me into another room. The chair can also swing front/back or side/side and speed is adjustable. My baby is 5 months and she still enjoys it whereas most swings they seem to outgrow before 5 months due to size or slow swing speed. The swing itself was extremely easy to put together and required a little time to look at the instructions to get it right. The fabric pattern was super soft but also super cute which was a nice touch to parents. Play match my Decor easily and I can imagine if that's a big deal for you that it probably fit into most different types of themes of decor. It was very easy to turn on vibration as it's just being moved of a bar, and to get the proper speed up swing all you have to do is rotate a dial like piece it's extremely easy to do. You know that the swing is on because the dial lights up blue in one spot. I enjoyed the fact that it was extremely easy to move different spots in the house it wasn't Terribly heavy. I also like that the little stars on the activity bar for easy to remove on and off if it wasn't your thing. The switch from the baby looking out to looking to the side with also truly easy and took just a matter of seconds to lift the swing off of the base and rotated thanks. It was also strong easy just to pop it off and use that off The Rocker. I just turned on the vibration settings and use my foot to rock it back and forth. My daughter enjoyed all about the swing every aspect it seems like. It is convenient having the portable rocker, however I would have used it more if it had a handle for ease of carrying (like a car seat).
