The material is great and the padding is the best I have seen in a kid's seat. The cup holders are very sturdy, which is great for preventing orange juice spills. I am taking away one star because the assembly was not very intuitive and the manual is pretty long compared to other seats. It took me a while to even tackle the project of installing it. The first thing when opening the box I loved how easy it was to assemble. The instructions were straightforward and it was put together in less than five minutes. Our daughter immediately loved the fact that there are two cup holders to hold all her treasures during commutes. I loved that it is super lightweight and easy to transfer between cars as we switch cars often (however this one is so affordable we may be able to purchase a second). I love that it will grow with our daughter. We installed it as the highjack booster. I like the added safety of the head protection, and it is a great feature for keeping her comfy when she occasionally falls asleep on rides. We currently have two other larger convertible carseats in the back seat of our midsize car and this seat fits perfectly between the two using the lower anchors. The install was quite smooth when using the lower anchors. Our daughter loves the fact that she gets to be a big kid and use the same seatbelt as mom and dad. I love the fact that it is perfectly positioned such that it's on her lap and probably crossing her chest. Then when she is a little older it is nice that we are able to remove the belt trainer. I love when a carseat has many different configurations as it makes it more personalized as we see fit. We will be keeping this booster in mind when we have to upgrade our other kiddos. Right out of the box it was very easy to assemble! (I was weary at first at seeing it come out in 3 pieces as assembly is not my fort&eacute;, but it was quite simple). It&rsquo;s very lightweight and was easy to install in the car - this is important to us when needing to move seats between cars - and since it uses the LATCH system I know it&rsquo;s installed safely. We have only used the seat as a highback booster so far, but my son is very comfortable in the seat and it seems to &ldquo;fit&rdquo; him well. The head rest/support is great as he has dozed off in this seat a few times, and he was still nested in the seat nicely. I love the ease of adjusting the height as well. The padding is very nice and he loves having the cup holders (2 of them!) and I love that they are dishwasher safe. The seat pad is also machine washable which is great as well. The Right Guide Seat Belt Trainer is a wonderful feature as this is the first seat we have used that uses the acual seat belt. Keeps it tight and in place for peace of mind! Added bonus is that the seat belt trainer can be removed and used separately for bigger kiddos, so basically you get 2 seats in 1 - perfect for carpooling! If she happens to fall asleep while in the car on other booster her head falls forward but because of the positioning of the seat bottom this has not been a problem with this seat and she is much more comfortable! Sometimes we will transport a niece, nephew, or friend, but may not have the extra seat to squeeze in the back seat with 2 other big car seats, and while I haven't tried it out in my car yet, I love how we have that option. I would like to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me the Graco Turbo Booster Grow Highback Booster featuring RightGuide Seat Belt Trainer to use and review. I have been really pleased with this product. Its clever design allows for it to convert into a few practical booster options. It's really simple to put together -even with my kids all attempting to help me- all in under 5 minutes total. I like that it's rather light weight, especially for all that you're getting. I am not super strong and I can easily enough move it around even one handed. The back panel of the booster that keeps the belt in place and the child properly positioned, clicks on and off very easily. Once the booster is in the car on a seat the back stays on nicely- however when you're moving it around from one car to another or if you put it down on the ground and a child attempts to sit in it then the back part of the booster clicks off and you have it in 2 pieces. I think maybe if they had a button for it then it would be stronger than just pushing it on and off... Nonetheless there is no issue with the back once it's in the car. My 5 year old was very comfortable in the booster with the high back attached. The one handed hieght adjustment makes carpool time much smoother, making adjusting from one kid to another a snap. I love that it has been designed as a booster that can accommodate 2 kids. You really get alot from the many ways you can use this booster. It's really a carpool must have!!! I do wish that in all it's positions there would be a way for the mom to attach the belt buckel receiver to the booster allowing kids to easily find it and be able to click themselves in. My 5 year old was having trouble getting the belt over the booster and to click it in. In addition the backless booster options have a very nice built in belt adjusting strap that can be put away in the built in compartment when not in use. However when properly using the backless booster that strap is necessary and makes buckling too hard for anyone unfamiliar with how to position it. Overall it's an amazing booster that gives lots of options. I do feel the second seat belt guide trainer booster is something that should be available on its own too, for someone that doesn't want this entire booster system, as it's so useful! The second seat booster is really a game changer for carpool and is lightweight enough to send with your kid if another carpool mom doesn't have enough boosters. And the most amazing feature for me when it comes to the second seat booster is how easily it fit in my van's middle seat on a bench that has 2 full size carseats already!!! Honestly fastening his seat belt is probably the most time consuming out of everything regarding this high back booster. While riding, my son said that he felt secure. For what the product is - a multi-function booster seat - it is very good. Fabric is easy to clean. It is easy to adjust from one seat to another and it is exceptionally easy to install. I was so excited to get a new booster to try for my five years old. I had him in a five-point harness booster until he turned five but wanted to switch him to a seatbelt booster due to his height. I was nervous about security, especially with his seatbelt staying in place. I am so glad the Graco Turbo Booster Grow Highback Booster has the feature of the Right Guide Seat Belt Trainer. The seatbelt loops through two holders on either side of the seat to prevent any loosening of the seatbelt. The only drawback is that the holders do such a good job of keeping the seatbelt in place that if the seatbelt gets twisted or locked, you have to basically unthread one side and start over again. But that minor inconvenience is worth it. Make sure you read the instruction manual first - you do need the removable seat in order to use the highback booster WITH the seat belt trainer. If you are using the booster with two kids, the removable seat takes the seat belt trainer with it. So make sure that whichever kid you keep in the highback booster is confident and safe with a seatbelt. Obviously, my favorite feature of this booster is the seatbelt trainer and the fact that it's basically two boosters for the price of one. My five-year-old son's favorite part of the new booster is the comfy seat and the two (TWO!!) cupholders. It was very easy to set up and install. I like that this seat has latch connectors, so it doesn't slide around in the backseat so much. We are only in the high back booster stage, but it fights my daughter, who is 5, very well. It took me a few tries to get the hang of positioning and buckling the seat belt, but I think we've got a good system in place now! I tried the seat as one solid piece. It is possible to have a high back booster as well as a booster, so the seat can be used for two kids. I like the gray color, it works for a boy or girl and won&rsquo;t show stains or dirt easily. The seat has two cup holders which are good size and can hold probably any size cup. I think my favorite feature is the easy to use LATCH system. I have always struggled with latching my car seats to the car because the method used is challenging. This LATCH system is amazing. There is a button to push to loosen the latch from the car seat to attach it to the car. You then connect the hook to the bracket in your car and pull the cord to tighten it and make it fit snugly in the car. I did not try all forms of the booster with my child as I want her to be in the most protected form in the car even though age wise she would fit in the other forms. I want her to max out height and weight before moving her on. She used the high back booster. We did look at the other backless booster and seatbelt trainer in the house before placing in the car. The seemed very easy to use and comfortable. In a few years I would be able to use the seat belt trainer with my oldest and the high back booster with my youngest. The seat belt trainer actually comes off the base off the seat when pulling a latch. Once you pull the latch you flip up the handle looking pieces which are used to run the seatbelt through to help with seat belt placement. The headrest is built with more support than their other Turbo Booster, similar to their Nautilus&rsquo; headrest which kid has better headrest to lean on when napping. 2 Cup holders are not hideaway but don&rsquo;t stick out too much to hold water bottles &amp; snacks. Love the LATCH clips that secured the seat to the car&rsquo;s LATCH hooks so the seat doesn&rsquo;t move in case of sudden jerk moves; it&rsquo;s the push-button quick attach-release LATCH clips (like seatbelt clip &amp; release) vs. their older manual LATCH clips, plus the LATCH clip-belt can be tightened with a quick pull in the front &amp; quickly loosen with a quick-release button... no more threading the belt to loosen! A better upgrade to Graco&rsquo;s Turbobooster line overall and still can be backless when needed. The seatbelt trainer seat is a separate seat snapped into the seat itself when not in use; there&rsquo;s no safety feature when only using it. It is recommended for kids 50lbs+ so currently it&rsquo;s a seatbelt training seat when car is not moving until kid is 50lbs... good thought for the seatbelt training seat but it will also has to do with a car&rsquo;s seatbelt clip &amp; buckle design (my beef is more with the buckle that&rsquo;s not staying put when kid is learning to snap the clip into the it.) Some days she rides to school with our neighbor and she always bring her car seat, so this week I sent her with the RightGuide Seat Belt Trainer to see if she would be able to put it in the car herself and it was a breeze for her! She loves the freedom it gives her and I love that it keeps her shoulder and lap belts in place. I was even impressed with the cup holders on this seat. With three kids we&rsquo;ve had a number of car seats in our lives and it seems like the cupholders never last long. Prior to this test, he was in a five point harness car seat. He has been wanting to try a high back booster for a while. Putting it together was pretty quick and painless. I think that it took a total of five minutes. I asked my five year old to sit in it prior to installing it in the car to determine how high the back needed to be. When he did, the back of the seat fell flat on the ground. Clearly that didn't make me feel good about the security of the seat, but my husband reminded me that the back doesn&rsquo;t need to be that secure as it is being held up by the back seat of the car. Installation was a snap. It just has two clips that easily attach to the car and can be adjusted. My son liked that there were two arm rests and two cup holders. He also really liked that he was using the seatbelt of the car to strap himself in. He did have trouble clicking the seatbelt into place. I am not sure if that is due to the position of the latch in my backseat or how you had to maneuver the seatbelt through the base and armrest to click it in. Honestly fastening his seat belt is probably the most time consuming out of everything regarding this high back booster. While riding, my son said that he felt secure. However in looking in the back seat every so often, he was able to move forward and side to side a little more than i would like. I would prefer him to be more secure in his car seat. Even though my son is large enough to try the other versions of the booster, I didn't feel comfortable doing it. For what the product is - a multi-function booster seat - it is very good. Fabric is easy to clean. It is easy to adjust from one seat to another and it is exceptionally easy to install. I also appreciated that it went up to 100 lbs so truthfully it should be the last car seat/booster you will ever need; not to mention the price is really good for all that you get. Upon opening it, I saw it was in three easy to connect pieces. I had it completely put together in less than a minutes time. There is an insert on the back for if your child is a little smaller. My son is a big five year old at 49 inches and 55 pounds, so we easily removed that for him to use it. I had him try it with and without the insert, but he preferred without. There is a cushion on the back which my son said is &quot;SOOOO&quot; comfortable! I easily slid the headrest up so that it fit my son perfectly. A really great feature of this booster seat is that it is LATCH compatible. I had previously used boosters that just sat on the seat, so I loved the added bonus of feeling like my son is more secure and that the seat is not going anywhere. This feature was very easy to use. A click on each side to LATCH it in, then two straps that you pull in the front to tighten. Conversely, if you want to loosen the LATCH straps, you just push a button on the front. I liked that it was so conveniently located in the front so that I wasn't pulling behind the seat trying to do it. By far, the very best feature of this booster is the ability to seat two kids at once. We were picking up my eight year old nephew for a playdate, and instead of the normal trying to cram his booster into my car, I simply popped the belt trainer off of my son's seat and used that for the eight year old. He loved the novelty of feeling like he was sitting in a &quot;real&quot; seat, and I loved the convenience and the safety aspect. It still gave him enough a boost while making sure the seatbelt is in the proper place. It was small enough that he was able to sit comfortably between the Highback Booster and a standard carseat.
