It is a must have! I can use it as a co sleeper to sit beside me in the bed. Or I can use it as a bassinet and place it right beside me and it swivels to. It&rsquo;s very adjustable to fit your bed. Plus the bottom can go under the bed that gets thw baby right next to you. It has a nice mesh wall. That is breathable and keeps the baby protected. I never put anything in it while the baby is sleeping. It is a much better feeling having your little one right next to you but not in the same bed so someone don&rsquo;t roll over on him or her. Its very well made and sturdy to. The bassinet is super substantial which is a huge reassurance since my baby spends so much time in it. It also means that it is heavy. This isn't something you're moving from room to room but that's not what we needed it for so it worked out well. Because it's so sturdy, it does have quite a large footprint so I'd recommend using it in a room where floor space is ample. I liked that the netting went all the way around so I can easily see inside to check on my baby. I don't really use the collapsing edge of the bassinet to pull my baby out but it is a nice feature. I liked that the height is adjustable because it helped us find a perfect height for both my husband and me to comfortably access the baby. The mattress, itself, seems much more comfortable for the baby than what we were previously using (a portable bassinet item). We have a fairly (but not super) high bed and the fact that all we have to do is sit up and spin him towards us is amazing. The side wall also lowers, so you really just bring your little 1 to you in bed and dont need to get up and out of bed to attend to them. There's also a handy side pocket that we now prep for the middle of the night essentials and it just makes the nighttime routines easier and more efficient. Very easy to put together and also love the mesh sides so you can see inside while laying down as well. I have a total of seven children and this is one of the best bassinets I have owned. The assembly instructions are clear and have pictures as a guide so we were able to set it up quickly and easily. We didn't have any issues setting it up and using it. I love that this bassinet swivels all the way around so I can keep my baby close to me and she can still sleep safely. I have always been the type of mom that wakes up every hour or so to make sure my children are breathing and okay. Since my baby is right next to me I don't have to get out of bed to check on her which is great. The easy lowering wall allows me to care for my baby from bed. I had surgery a few weeks ago and this feature is so helpful since I am on bed rest for six weeks and can't really get around very well. You can also lock the wall in the upright position if you prefer. This is great for moms that had to have a C-section or if you have to have surgery after having your baby like I did. The base is adjustable on the height so you can find the right one for your bed. We have a pretty tall king size bed and I am so happy that it fits perfectly since our bed is taller than most beds. So if you have a tall bed it should fit fine and work great. I also like how strong and sturdy the base is and it provides the perfect support for the bassinet. What is even more amazing is that this bassinet also transforms to a naptime nest with just a push of a button so I can use it in the living room, bathroom (when showering) or kitchen if needed. I like to keep my baby close so I can quickly check on her so I love that this bassinet has this feature. The mattress that comes with it is firm but comfortable for my baby and she sleeps good in this bassinet. I like the breathable mesh walls and they allow me to see my baby easily while she sleeps. I have been using a hand me down standard hooded bassinet for all of my children. Then the BassiNest Essentia bassinet got my attention and I don't know how I survived without it. This is a 360 degree swivel bassinet that is height adjustable for using next to my bed or in the living room during the day. This unit was easy to assemble. I like the base with 4 legs on this, it's very secure. The bassinet has mesh sides and padded top rail. It includes a pocket where I can keep a few diaper and wipes for night time access and diaper cream if needed. My child was a C-section so the swivel of this bassinet was a life saver for me everywhere I put it. And the fact that the side lowers to remove the baby for breast feeding when it's right next to me is perfect. This comes with a pad and fitted sheet which is removable for the laundry. I can easily wipe down the pad as needed, I love this!! It's large so make sure you have room for it if you're using in next to your bed is important. It's a lot bigger than I had anticipated, but in a good way. My newborn was sleeping in a normal old hand-me-down bassinet and it was so small and cramped. This Halo bed is so roomy and works really well. It's sturdy, very well made, and I love the fact that the height is adjustable. It was really easy to put together, and my other kids (7, 5, 3, and 2) liked helping to screw the legs into their places. The bed is really heavy, and they say to take the top off, then move the base, and reattach the top, which I whole-heartidly agree with. I really like the littke storage pouch on the side, and the retractable safety wall on the side that springs back into place when you pull it down or you can lock it into place which is great. It also makes diaper changes a breeze. The only con I will say is that the mattress that came with it doesn't seem like it's that comfortable, however, they do sell others that you can replace it with. But it is my favorite baby purchase of all time. I have a tall bed, and it adjusted to the correct level for him to be sleeping right next to my face. The side drops with pushing so I can comfortably lay my arm across and have it on him while we&rsquo;re both in bed. It&rsquo;s the safest alternative to co-sleeping as he&rsquo;s in his own space and I&rsquo;m in mine but we&rsquo;re just as close. The swivel makes it easy to move it and stand up. It&rsquo;s the best quality, comes with its own sheet, which washes like new every time with no staining. He&rsquo;s very relaxed and comfortable in it, and I love the design. But what we really love about it the fact that it does not take up much room, and it's easy to transport. We've taken it to visit the in-laws and it does not take up a lot of space in the car and easy to use. The fabric, and the quality of the product is one that seems to be safe, comfortable, and durable. The breathable mesh feature is something we truly love and helps us sleep at night..well enjoy the napping we get at night haha. Our son seems very comfortable and the swivel action of this allows for us to fit this in multiple spaces without much trouble.
