It should fit snuggly around your baby's arms and chest. If you notice excess material, the swaddle may be too big. <span itemprop="description">I have a sweaty baby who loves his arms by his face. The halo swaddles are the best I have found to keep him comfortable. However the Velcro on this particular swaddle is almost too strong if it sticks anywhere you don’t want it you will spend some time getting it off. Also I have washed it twice and the softer fabric the Velcro sticks to has started to come undone in a couple areas.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Overall the sleep sack was good. We just had two issues with it, the Velcro and the fact that it has one zipper instead of the convenient two zipper design. The Velcro was so strong that it often took two hands pulling with a lot of force to open it up. Even my husband said it was challenging to get off. Often my little one was upset by this. Combined with the fact that we had to fiddle with the single zipper for middle of the night diaper changes, we no longer used this swaddle after about a week. These things might not bother you, so if they don’t it’s definitely a good swaddle - it just didn’t work well for us!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I thought I was a fan of Halo, until I bought this awful swaddle. I had bought a micro fleece one of the cold days, so I decided to go ahead and get another one for warmer nights… and let tell you. THIS SWADDLE IS A NIGHTMARE. The Velcro is IMPOSSIBLE to open. In fact, my husband had to pull to open it… the fitting is off. It’s loose on the neck and it’s just not good.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have tried a lot of different swaddles and this one blows all the others out of the water! The material keeps my baby at a comfortable temperature. The size is perfect to grow with her for as long as she will need to be swaddled. I especially love the design of the arm flaps - it makes it impossible to bundle up next to her face, even when I do a poor job of getting her back in it in the middle of the night. The zipper access at the bottom is an added bonus. Seriously, try this on your little one - you won't be sorry.</span>
