Most comfortable manual pump, by far!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I received this pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel just a few days after getting hone from a road trip where I was car-pumping all the time and ZOMG I WISH I had gotten this pump before that trip! The flange is sooooo good, and the suction mechanism is super smooth and strong. Why is the flange so excellent, you may be wondering? And I will tell you, in perhaps more detail than you’d like: with most manual pumps, I feel like my breasts are water balloons full of soup that I’m setting on top of a shot glass. It’s an imperfect comparison, but the point is, there is OVERFLOW in terms of the boob to flange ratio, and because there has to be a tight seal for suction, I end up pressing those hard plastic edges into my delicate soup-balloons, and it does not feel great. THIS PUMP! However! Has a FLEXIBLE flange with a soft outer edge! It’s borderline sexy. The form-fitting-ness also helps keep the suction strong, and I got a good yeild without nearly as much massaging as I usually need to do. It’s aces, for real.

Perfect breast pump alternative
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for a review. I must say that I was pretty impressed with this Medela Harmony Manual Pump. This is my third baby so it isn't my first rodeo by any means, but it is the first baby that I had a successful breastfeeding journey with. She is 11 months soon and we are still going strong! I have been so thrilled using my Medela products and I can't begin to tell you how happy I've been using this on the go. There are so many occasions that require me to need to pump while out and about and I never had anything except for my huge regular pump. Being able to use a small manual pump to express milk and relieve some pressure is such a huge life saver! This pump was very easy to use and I could take it all apart easily to clean as well. I've been spoiled with the hands free pumping bra with the big machine so that's my only complaint is having to pump manually. I love everything else about it though!

Love this hand pump! But some flaws...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this pump. The let down option is fantastic. I love that I can easily throw it in my bag to use it doesn’t hurt my hand and I can easily get 3-4 ounces. I usually use it while nursing to get the post of a letdown.
My biggest concern is it seems to leak where the pump connects to the bottle. It only does it sometimes. I’m not sure why but it doesn’t make me not want to use the pump.
I also had an issue with the silicone part that connects the handles to the stem of the valve. It wouldn’t sometime flip inside out and get stuck. It would get annoying but I’m still pleased with this pump.
(I was given this pump free of charge in exchange for an honest review.)

Before I begin, I would like to disclose that I received this product for free from Stellar Product Testing Panel in Exchange for my HONEST Review. All options are 100% my own.
Wow wow wow. This pump is amazing.
I’m a second time mom with a 15 month old (I know I know I’m trying to wean). My first child wouldn’t nurse so, I literally was tied to the pump 24/7 for an entire 12 months... so with my second I dread pumping. It always has taken me so long to empty my breast.. I wish I would have had this product with my first!
This pump helps me pump so fast. It only takes me About 10 minutes to completely empty BOTH of my breasts! That’s literally record time for me.
I love that it’s portable and small because it’s super easy to pump on the go: in the car, at work, or in the mall! It’s very easy to assemble and disassemble.
This is the best pump ever! I love that I can hold the handle down for a few seconds and literally see my milk still coming out. I don’t have to squeeze squeeze squeeze; I can just hold it down and the milk comes out! My hand isn’t aching and tired after pumping!
10/10 do and will recommend!!

Compact Design, Decent Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not typically used a manual pump in the past. So when I received this to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was curious, but a tad bit apprehensive.
The compact design is great. It is small enough to fit in a large purse if way you were going out without your baby and needed a quick pump during that time, but it wasn’t a long enough outing to justify an electric pump.
In terms of performance I had a difficult time getting enough milk out when I manually pumped with this. It could be where we are on the breastfeeding journey (near the end) so I didn’t have enough milk to pump out. But in comparison to an electric pump I couldn’t get the same amount I could with an electric. I would overall say it is a good option, especially at the beginning of breastfeeding when engorgement happens often.

So comfortable!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump is the most comfortable pump I have. The shape and texture of the flange combined with the gentle yet effective suction make this pump my go-to. Since COVID19, I don't often travel with my pump. However, since working from home, I often pump around the house. It's quiet, so I can pump while on a conference call. It's also easy to clean - no more parts than I would have if I used my electric pump. I also love that I can utilize the parts I already have from my pump-in-style. Most of all, I love the the pump handle has to ends: a gentle let down end and a larger end for stronger suction. It gives me more control. I'm so grateful to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test out this product!

Easy, convenient manual option
Very happy with this manual pump. While manual pumps require more labor, I found this one efficiently gets the job done when I’m out and about and don’t want to lug around my larger electric pump. It fits easily in purse/tote bag and has minimal parts. It’s helpful if you just need a little relief when you’re away from your baby, but, importantly, I think the milk yield rivals of an electric pump in a shorter amount of time if you’re able to get letdown going. The handle takes a little getting used to to get in a rhythm and can make your hand tired, but no more so than any other manual pump. Having the two different expression settings is a nice touch for easing into letdown.
Now I just wish Medela’s breast milk soap came in travel size!

The pump is the perfect size to fit in my diaper bag. I was easily able to pull it out and pump while out and about with my baby. When at home I kept it clean and close by for the times I needed to quickly get some milk for my baby. It was a lot easier than setting up my electric pump.
I had no issues effectively expressing breastmilk. At times I was able to get more milk with the hand pump than with my electric pump. The pump is also very comfortable. The new style of breast shield fit much better than the traditional all plastic breast shield. It was softer and less abrasive.
The pump was easy to setup and took no time at all. It was also very easy to clean. I either put all the parts in the dishwasher or used a special soap.

Perfectly portable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this hand pump complimentary by Stellar Review Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review, and it couldn’t have come at a better time! I planned a momcation for a weekend away for myself and this hand pump was absolutely perfect for trip. First, Medela improved the flange by making it more oval shaped to better bit an actual breast shape and they also added silicone around the flange so help creat a more comfortable fit/latch. I feel it did a great job at removing the milk and it didn’t take too long. There are only a few parts to wash and it didn’t take up much space at all in my bag. The only thing that was a little weird was the handle part feels like it barely snaps in and made me feel it would pop out easier as I was pumping, but it never did. It just didn’t feel secure. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hand pump to keep in emergencies or for trips because of its size.

Great for on-the-go and backup
I truly love this pump! I pump when away from my baby and nurse when I’m with him, and really do not enjoy pumping. I keep an electric pump at my office, and find it difficult to carry around, especially since it has to be plugged in. I received this manual breast pump to try out from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have used a manual pump before and was only so-so about it. The Medela Harmony was a game-changer for me. It has only a few pieces, so is easy to clean and put together. The number one most amazing feature is that the pump handle swivels in all directions, so you can use either hand at any angle. This was really nice as my hand tends to get tired when pumping. It also meant I didn’t have to be sitting ramrod straight when trying to use it. This came in handy when we were on a road trip. I was able to pump in the car and hand the bottle to my baby, instead of having to pull over and take him out of the seat to nurse. I occasionally work from home (pandemic life), and so now instead of having to plan on bringing my electric pump home on those days I just use the manual pump. It expresses milk very efficiently, and the flange is a sort of an oval shape that seems to make for a really nice seal. Overall, I highly recommend this as a backup or for on-the-go use.

My Favorite Breast Pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Medela Harmony Manual Pump so so much! It's so convenient to travel with and clean. I like that I was able to throw this pump in my bag when I was going to be away from my daughter for feedings. After I pump, I can just put a lid on the bottle piece and didn't have to worry about transferring to a different container. It's really easy to set up and break down for cleaning because it doesn't have too many parts or tubing to clean. I really loved didn't have to worry about power source or batteries, and I felt that it did a very efficient job actually pumping. I was skeptical that a manual pump would require a lot more work, but it didn't at all. The amount of milk I am able to pump with this manual pump was about the same as the amount pumped with an electric. I was also able to use it while feeding my daughter at the same time because it does not make a lot of noise to distract her. The pump is pretty comfortable to use. I hate pumping and try to avoid it if I can, but this pump was not irritating for my breasts. The the shield's shape is oval instead of a circle and forms better to my body and the rim is soft so it doesn't irritate my skin. Really, I have preferred this pump over my electric pump. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this little pump! It has saved me a few times when I haven’t had access to my electric pump or just wanted to get a quick pump in without all the fuss of my electric setup. I’ve even used it in the car and on a train traveling for work when bringing along my electric pump wasn’t an option. It’s also great for getting in extra sessions to help boost supply. There are still a good number of parts to this pump, but since it’s only used on one side, I don’t mind the washing (and you can throw the parts that get dirty into the dishwasher!). I do find that my hand gets pretty tired when using it, but it is worth it in a pinch. Overall, and awesome tool to have in a pumping mom’s arsenal. Great pump for on the go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the previous version of this pump when I was breastfeeding my first, and this is a big improvement on the older style. I received this pump as part of the Stellar Products Testing Panel.
Things I love: It's portable and perfect for occasional trips away from baby. I had to be away from my EBF baby for about 6 hours, and this pump was perfect. I was able to express enough milk to ease my discomfort and then some. Rather than lug my big electric pump, set up in the car and pump somewhat indiscreetly, I was able to pop this pump on, and in less than 10 minutes I was done with both sides. I love that the flange is more contoured, rather than the standard round. Much more comfortable for me, The pumping handle/lever is comfortable and ergonomically designed.
What I didn't love: not the easiest to clean. It does come completely apart so there aren't difficult crevices to clean but it's still an open pumping system and cleaning it takes some time.
Overall- great for occasional usage, maybe even more if I needed to pump. I am glad I have it and will keep using it as necessary. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an easy way to pump a bit here and there rather than a big electric pump.

Great for moms with fast flow
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was curious to see how using a manual pump was vs using an electric pump. I was chosen to review the Harmony manual pump from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been a user of Medela breast pumps for both my children. I was curious to see how a manual pump worked when I was away from my child and pump. I wanted to love this product so much but for me, it wasn’t a good fit. I have larger breasts and holding the pump, working the pump and holding my breasts was a little cumbersome. I am also considered one of the slow flow people when it comes to pumps. It takes me awhile to empty my breasts, so using the manual pump on one breast took a lot of time. If you are one of those moms who can fill a bottle in 10 minutes this might be the right product for you. The handle is nice because you can use one side the “smaller” handle to stimulate a letdown and the larger handle to stimulate removal from your babe. Since its Medela, the bottles and parts are interchangeable to their electronic pumps accessories. I like that feature so you don’t need to buy different flanges, bottles, and white membranes/yellow valves. I really like the flange that comes with the Harmony because it isn’t hard plastic but it has a silicone rim. This new flange can be rotated for your comfort which is a big plus. This pump is great for moms who need to empty and has a fast flow, but it wasn’t a good fit for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this pump! I’ve used others and they got the job done but this one here took half the time to complete the job! Suction was powerful enough but didn’t cause any pain. It was easy enough for me to do it with one hand or I could use two if I wanted. It did have a lot of parts that I wasn’t expecting so the set up wasn’t quick, not difficult though. I loved how this pump fit nicely in my purse with everything so I could easily take it on the go. I did not like that the handle felt like it would fall off at any moment. The instructions say it would lock into place but mine felt flimsy after going as far in as possible. For that I’d give it 4.5 stars. Overall, this pump is lightweight, easy to carry around, conveniently comes with a base so it won’t fall over, and gets the job done well. Not bad for a manual breast pump! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this manual breast pump.

This pump is a great option for travelling. It is small and lightweight but has great suction so it works well. Once I ensured all the pieces were together properly if worked even better than I anticipated and very efficient for its size. It is easy to use and with it being so lightweight very comfortable to hold. Setup is just snapping pieces together. Very simple and cleaning is super easy too, no complaints here! Easy and Simple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump’s simple design and ease of use is great. It’s also very easy to clean and with less parts it makes it great for storage and travel. The pump’s flange is very comfortable and flexible, the suction is good and doesn’t hurt my nipples. I can only express about 1 to 2 ounces with this pump so I still use an electric pump to empty my breast but this pump is nice when you’re on the go and just need a little relief. I would recommend this pump for quick relief but not for exclusive pumping.

Quick and Easy to Use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this hand pump! I don’t pump very often, because I’m home 24/7 with my kiddos and I just feed on demand. But sometimes I want (or need) to pump, and the Medela Harmony is SO much easier and quicker to use than my double electric pump.
This is the pump I always reach for first - it’s super easy to clean because it only has a few parts. I use the Medela pump soap (which is AMAZING), and can wash everything your quickly and easily.
Right out of the box, this pump was comfortable to use and effective. I get just as much milk using this hand pump than I do with my double electric.
I have 4 kids ages 5 and under, so I don’t really have time to set up and be connected to an electric pump. With the Medela Harmony, I can start and stop quickly and easily, and it’s so easy to use that I can fit occasional pumping into my super busy days.
Thanks so much to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this pump to try!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump is so good for on the go. It’s compact, easy to put together, and easy to clean. The oval shape and the flexible rim made it more comfortable than other pumps. I exclusively breast feed my baby and on the rare occasions when I leave him, I hate having to get out my bulky electric pump and clean all the pieces when done. This manual pump makes it easy to pump one breast while I’m nursing on the other or on the go when I’m away from baby. I don’t get quite as much milk by manually pumping but it’s worth the convenience. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this manual breast pump to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a wonderful product. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby is 11 months so she’s is starting to breastfeed less. This pump was extremely helpful to me to help pump off a little when things start to get uncomfortable when she goes extended periods without eating. The flange was extremely comfortable on my breasts, and they fit in it perfectly. I love how it’s small enough that I could just throw it in my diaper bag on the go in case I needed it. Plus it was super easy to take apart/put together and clean. It came apart well so that I was able to easily clean anything that came in contact with milk. I especially liked the stand it came with so I could place it on a surface and not worry about it tipping over!

Great for on the Go, Mediocre Suction
I am a mother of two who's been breastfeeding/pumping for approximately three years. I always like to have a manual pump around for a backup at work, to pump when I am on the go and occasionally use on the other side while breastfeeding. After using the Medela Harmony Manual Pump, I noticed the flange size I normally wear (24mm) seemed to be slightly larger than normal. As I pumped, I couldn't maintain a good suction without constantly adjusting the pump. The one thing that helped keep somewhat of a suction and provided comfort was the seal around the edge of the flange. I also like how easy it is to set up, broken down, and clean the pump. I used the top part of the handle to trigger a let down, then used handle to pump milk. I like this pump as a backup but I never feel emptied after each use. Overall, I would recommend if you need a back up pump to help prevent engorgement and wish this kit came with a nipple. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own.

Great pump to use on the go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several different manual pumps before, and this one is definitely the best! I am currently breast feeding my 3rd baby and have pumped for a total of over 3 years. I find a manual pump to be helpful if I need to extract just a small amount of milk to tide me over until I can be with baby or get to my electric pump. The features that make this model stand out are the new flange shape, the base, and the ergonomic design. The flange is great--it's more oval than round, and the outer edge is a flexible material so it molds better to the breast. I find i can use this one handed, which is not something I can say for all manual pumps. Also, the neck of the flange is shorter than prior models, which makes it easier to pump discretely (like in a car, at a ski lodge, at a swimming pool, etc). The include base is awesome at preventing spills. I can't tell you how many times I've knocked over the bottle/flange set up, and this base prevents it. The ergonomic design allows less hand/wrist fatigue.
The only downside to this pump for me is I think I may have been able to extract more milk with a different flange size (I use a 27 with my electric Medela pump, but was sent a size 24 for this pump). I find in general, I don't get as much milk with a manual pump as an electric pump, but I definitely always want to have a manual pump on hand for travel or back up.
This is a great manual pump for use on the go! I am grateful to have received this pump to test through the Stellar Test Panel.

It’s a great pump for on the go especially if your having to travel and have no where to plug in an electric pump. Great manual pump
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to test and review. I am a breastfeeding mom of an 8-month-old baby. I occasionally like to pump breastmilk to mix with cereal for my son, or when we go for longer trips in the car.
This pump is very compact and easy to carry around. It doesn’t require any electricity, wires, or tubes. It’s pretty convenient when you want to pump in the car, on a trip, or just a little bit in the morning or at night. It’s fairly quiet, so you don’t have to worry about it making too much noise and waking people up.
The pump seems to be pretty effective at expressing breastmilk. I don’t pump very frequently, so I don’t get a ton from each session, but an ounce here and there adds up. It is easy to stimulate letdown with the little lever, and then there is plenty of suction with the large lever. I think it was just as effective as my electric pump, if not more effective because I had much better control of the pressure and speed, and there is a lot less setup and takedown than with a double electric pump.
The pump is super comfy. It is certainly more gentle than my electric pump is. I like having complete control of the pressure and the speed. I can immediately relieve pressure if it starts to pull or hurt. I like the shape of the flange. It helps get a good, comfortable latch. I usually have a little difficulty getting everything lined up perfectly, but once I do, it’s a breeze to pump, almost as easy as nursing.
Putting the pump together can be a little tricky. It’s pretty straightforward, but I have a hard time attaching some of the parts because the fit is really tight. This is great for efficient use of the pressure, but I worry that I’m going to ruin the soft silicone exterior ring when I’m trying to attach the flange.
It’s really easy to clean the pump parts. I usually just rinse with warm soapy water and then sterilize. The valve is so small, it fits through the holes in my sterilizer, so I always worry that it will get lost. I am really careful with it, but there is a spare if something does happen to it.
Manual pumping is not a great choice if you want to multitask while pumping, but I think the rewards of a gentler session are worth it if you are only pumping occasionally. I would definitely recommend this pump if you’re looking for a portable, comfortable pump to use occasionally.

Pretty good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With this pump, I was able to pop this handy little thing in my bag and run errands if I needed to. We all know how hard it can be to leave baby at home with others because let’s face it, you don’t get to enjoy your time out due to the time limit. You’ve got between 1-3 hours until babe needs to feed next, if you’re lucky... Have no fear when you have a hand pump!
The Medela Harmony Manual Pump is a great product for on-the-go pumping (without the plethora of pump parts with electric pumps).
All in all, I think this pump was fairly effective at removing milk when I needed to be away from my youngest and still maintain my supply. I have a previous work injury (right hand and arm) so while efficient, this will not be my regular pump because of the repetitive motion required and my not being ambidextrous. I have to use my right hand just because it’s my dominant, if I use my left, it takes 2x the time to pump... So electric pumps work better for me just for that aspect but this one absolutely does the job when you need it done.
It’s super easy to clean and with minimal parts, that makes it even better.
Thank you Stellar Products Testing Panel for sending me this manual breast pump!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this manual breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I am so grateful for the chance to try it out. It came in handy when I was at an out of town wedding, and my travel electric pump ended up getting dropped by another wedding guest. Instead of scrambling, trying to find a way to express milk and avoid mastitis, I was covered by my handy Harmony manual pump. It's easy to use, compact and convenient to pack, and super comfortable. Even more important, it was very easy to disassemble/clean/reassemble. The ability to have the 2-Phase Expression mode that I love with my Medela electric pump was just great! I cannot thank Medela enough for allowing me to test this pump, and am so happy it was in my bag during that wedding! I continue to keep it in my bag during travel and in my work bag during 12 hr shifts. It gives me peace of mind knowing no matter what, I'll have the ability to express and feed my baby in a quick and comfortable manner.
