I got this for my infant niece for when I babysit. Her parents are first time parents and her daddy, while still learning some diaper changing techniques, didn't do quite the cleaning job he should have the first couple times he changed her and she got a bit irritated. After showing him how to make sure she is all good to go for a clean diaper (which he is now pro at!) we used this cream to help with the little bit of diaper rash that she had started to develop. After the first application, she was sooooo much better, and after the second, the irritation was gone! The cream wasn't messy and didn't have the yucky smell some creams have. I was thoroughly impressed with the cream, and we use it now in a thin layer to prevent any future irritation or chaffing from her diaper. He likes to get red rashes no matter how much we change his diaper. We have tried different diaper brands, different wipe brands, and lots of diaper cream. This is one of my favorites! It is a very thick cream but it spreads easily. I wish the smell would be a little better but I'd rather have it not smell or have more ingredients in it. I like that its cruelty free. That makes me feel much better about buying it. Overall, it only takes a day or two to see the redness on my baby's but go down.
