To start the buckle has almost nothing movement making it hard to buckle and unbuckle for meal times. Food also gets trapped where the buckle meets the seat making it hard to clean. I do like that the tray can be store underneath the seat but the try itself is so small you can fit a plate on it. It works well push up to the table. Overall not my favorite seat to use.</span>

Assembly is super easy, but do note that it says it can not be disassembled without damaging the seat. And I love how the dishwasher safe tray slides into a compartment on the seat! Because of the rectangular base of the seat, it’ll work best used on an adult chair that’s not rounded at the back. My baby is almost one, so she’ll be able to use this until she is 3 or 33 pounds.</span>

It's easy to put together, it all just snaps together. Two things to keep in mind: the chair straps are stored under the seat AND the seat back will not remove once you snap it on. The straps are adjustable so this seat can grow with your baby. The foam insert can be removed to make it a toddler seat. It's made for children up to 33 pounds and for ages 6-36 months. The tray is removable so it's easy to clean. Great chair to have around!</span>

This has been one of my favorite of how functional it is and how it is super sturdy and has a very secure strap of attaching it to a stool. The understanding with instructions of how to set everything up. this has been a big life changer in the house and my little one has been loving this stool so much.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love so much about this booster seat. Its easy to clean, convenient for toting to restaurants, and well made. Still it is a source of such frustration. The buckles are enough to make me not recommend. The way they are mounted means that they rest under the baby when you are putting the child in the seat. This forces you to dig around awkwardly under your child's but and crotch to find the straps and buckles. This is maddening! I mean follow the logic. In order to operate the buckles you have to pick up the child out of the way, oh but in order to use the seat you have to set the child down onto the buckles. Its a maddening design flaw.
Like I said, great product, but in practical use its not there yet.</span>

Thank you for the question. The Baby Base 2-in-1&trade; Seat - Cashmere is designed for use up to the age of 3 years old or 33lbs (kg). You may use the product only if the child meets ALL of the following conditions: &ndash;&ndash; Can sit up by himself or herself (approximately six months of age) &ndash;&ndash;Weighs less than 50lbs (22.6 kg). Also, please keep in mind when using the Baby Base 2-in-1&trade; Seat - Cashmere, always use restraints until child is able to get in and out of the product without help. The tray is not designed as a restraint system to hold the child in the product. Do not use on an adult chair unless at the seat bottom is at least 17&rdquo; (43 cm) wide and 15.5&rdquo; (39 cm) deep, and the seat back is at least 10&rdquo; (25 cm) tall.
