I have a hard time spending money on things we can only use for a month or 2, so this was a must as it can be used for years. In general, it is a very nice product, and indeed it does have many different positions and settings for it to grow with your baby to toddler. I do have a few suggestions for improvements as well. The good: SO cute. I love the neutral coloring that it has, to work for any gender. It feels timeless, and will not show fading as well as a brightly colored cover that will be washed a lot. The rocker feels very secure for the littlest ones. I don't ever get the feeling that baby is going to fly off the front if they rock too hard. There are safety bars on the bottom that prevent it from doing that. The bar for hanging little toys is great. I do wish they'd included more than one, though. The &quot;needs improvement:&quot; The assembly instructions are very confusing. It's just a series of diagrams with no written instructions. I'm one of those people who needs very clear guidance, or I'll end up with a bookshelf at the end. The safety buckles are sewn to the fabric. This is not a problem when using in infant mode; but if you will be using it as a toddler seat, those being irremovable means that they'll be sitting on those buckles all bunched up. Would that be comfortable to you? I suggest making the buckle system removable to solve this problem. If you have, or are having a baby, do not hesitate to get this. It's super comfortable for a newborn/baby. It has a switch to vibrate subtly which seems to be a hit. When I put my youngest in this with the vibrate on and gently rocking it with my foot while I folded laundry she fell fast asleep within seconds! I cal that a miracle. The best part is is that you don't have to get rid of it in 6 months when baby outgrows it. My two year old and almost-four-year-old are both within the weight limit and love lounging in this while watching tv. They simply take off the toy bar and relax in this comfy little seat. It can be used up to 40 lbs so that gives you literally years of use out of this! It is lightweight and able to be easily moved from room to room. The rocker includes an infant insert for tiny babies that can be removed for toddlers up to 40 lbs.! The useful life of this rocker is MUCH longer than other devices in the same category. My almost two-year-old &ldquo;baby&rdquo; loves to rock in her rocking chair while her big sister rocks in hers. I have the infant insert in the linen closet so that it&rsquo;s handy if one of our friends with an infant comes over to our house, since our house has been purged of all other baby equipment. The Spruce color is a mix of wonderful, neutral colors - light gray, sea foam green, and dark teal on white. The seat was easy to put together; I did it in 5 minutes, and I usually don&rsquo;t like putting any equipment together. It would be easy to tear down and store as well. The vibration had only one level and did not seem to move the chair very much.&nbsp; It was more of light soothing vibration.&nbsp; I wish it had more levels to the vibration and that the button was not so loud of a click.&nbsp; If my child was sleeping that click would be too loud to shut it off.&nbsp; As for the toy bar, it clipped/sat in very close to the chair making the toys on the bar very close and within arms reach of a newborn baby.&nbsp; My toddler who is under two was not able to wiggle it out. I had a rocking chair earlier but would replace that in heartbeat as Ingenuity provides an additional bouncing feature in this chair. Things I love are the soothing vibrations, height of chair, safety straps, very very soft infant insert, portability, colors, machine washable fabric, hanging toy bar. BUT I really wished it to had bouncing and rocking abilities powered by battery. If you don't mind to bounce and rock the chair manually by yourself for your little one, you should go for it. I use it to babysit my niece on weekdays and she loves bouncing motion more than vibration which needs me sitting all the time on floor by her. Automatic rocking and bouncing is a boon when u have chores to attend and want baby to have her fun too. It matters to me as I have a toddler of my own too. I got this to test for free and share my honest opinion in order to help other parents. Transitioning the chair is effortless as they made it simple to remove parts such as the hanging toy. I am also a big fan of the neutral colors that can easily blend in with any d&eacute;cor but matches our gray and turquoise perfectly. I only wish the back adjustment was more significant. The two settings are not much of a difference so the chair has a decent lean to it without any ability to adjust to a more upright position. Overall, I would recommend. I want something suitable for toddlers, sturdy, safe and fun and this one turned out to be the one! She can keep using it for 2 more year I believe according to the weight limitations which is 40 lb! The installation instructions was simple however i believe there is a mistake in picture illustration as they show no difference between the bouncer and the seat mode! But I figured it out by my self. It functions in three modes and has two recline positions, and you can alternate easily between them. Since my little one is already walking we mainly use the rocker and seat mode! I only wish it has an additional more upright recline position it would be perfect for seat position! The seat bad is so easy to take off and washs and drys nicely! We didn&rsquo;t use the toy bar but it would be nice for someone in a younger age! The fabric part can also be taken off completely for more thorough cleaning.It was also easy to assemble, and came with thorough, easy to follow instructions. The rocking seat looks very spacious comparing to other rocking seats I've owned past few years. It's super comfortable and plush for the infant. I honestly wish I owned this chair when my baby was born last year. But being 9 months, he's still really enjoying it even though he's quite tall for his age. He loves the vibration, it soothes him, and this rocking seat has two reclining positions and removable infant booster. Beware you must have batteries for the vibration but it's not a deal breaker. Honestly, one of the best investments I would ever make. My 3 year old loves rocking on this chair or simply sitting to read a book and unwind. This seat is super lightweight and easy to move around the house with one hand. I love the design that is neutral gender based. The removable hanging toy is amazing as the child grows, I can take it out and put it away. I do think the toy that comes with it could be improved or have 2 more included to switch them out when the baby gets bored.
