I bought this because I own two businesses and bring baby to work; I have NEVER been able to get it wrapped back up to carry, making it a massive pain to transport. I borrowed a graco one from a friend and it is so much easier to disassemble and pack up.</span>

No. You can't remove only the dreamcentre to use on its own. It is attached to playpen. You can remove to put away when not in use. Watch 'how to assemble' vid to get an idea.
