It's super warm and we've had a bunch of compliments. The neutral color goes with anything and can be used for girl or boy. The only downside is that it's a little bit big. I love the fact that it is gender neutral and can be worn by either a girl or a boy. I do wish that the hat would come in a size 0-3 months, because it was too large for my daughter's head. My daughter's head circumference is in the 71st percentile as of 1 month appointment (which was yesterday). The hat was so large that when I put it on her it would fall down and cover her entire face. I would pull the back down farther so that it wouldn't cover her eyes, but as she moved her head the hat would once again fall over her eyes and face. It's very well insulated and does a good job of keeping her head warm. It's a great neutral ivory color, so certainly appeal to both genders, and match the rest of her outfit any given day.
