She is 6 years old and on the Autism spectrum, and minus some minor small-motor issues, such as getting the characters into the swing, or opening/closing the purse, my daughter is so enamored.
We had gone for a drive and to pick up things at the store, and while my husband ran into the store, Kiddo got her gift. It was much bigger than I thought it would be; super awesome! It makes a perfect traveling toy because everything is compact, but spacious, with multiples ways to carry it (as a purse, or attached to one's belt).
I had the original Polly Pockets from the 80s and 90s, I remember struggling with getting them into the little holes that held them in place. However, the new Polly Pockets are slightly bigger (still pocket-sized, but big enough to find easily if dropped), and have "sticky" feet, along with special stickers you can place wherever you want that Polly sticks to. Really great design there.
We really loved all the features inside, esp the submarine and octopus ride. It is like an underwater playground, and she looooves the park. Her favorites are the anchor and the swing inside the castle. She also had "Pilly and Polly" play hide and seek within the castle part. Sososo cute. Would def recommend for kids 4 and up, and for those in OT for small motor-functioning issues, this would be a great toy to exercise hands, but also have things they could do without help. (Would def not recommend for those who mouth non-food items, though!)</span>

But he went to press the button today and the next detached from whatever mechanism is inside. He is devastated. This is a very expensive item to have break when other dinosaurs from the same franchise work great. Hopefully they find a solution.</span>

He pushed the button on three back this morning that makes it chomp and roar, and it is broken. There is no way to access the mechanism to fix it without destroying the dinosaur. He's really disappointed, and this seems to be a common problem. Disappointing for such an expensive toy.</span>

This is the 2nd ( or 3rd)Jurassic Word toy that he owns that has broken. He loves Jurassic World and is thrilled when he receives anything that has a Jurassic World logo on it. <span itemprop="description">Our son is obsessed with Dino’s and Jurassic Park. He has every Dino out there but the Indomius since they were so hard to find. When he got this for his birthday it was by far his favorite present. Unfortunately after a month or so of play, the tail button went. Now the thing has next to no functionality and the kid is heartbroken. Mattel has been good at sending replacement parts or a new one in the past so I hope they can do the same here.</span>

The second the throat would not light up or making gulping sound. The 3rd does the same and ALSO if you push the tail button more than 3x it stops roaring and instead makes a loud beep sound. I have already filled out the “contact us” 3 times and because the packaging was thrown away store returns were not possible. My 5 year old son is on the spectrum and Jurassic Park toys (specifically made by mattel) are his LIFE!
I have legit bought everything EXCEPT the powerwheel and super colossal T. rex. I have spent a a LOT of hard earned money and would really appreciate this being corrected.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My little boy loved this toy, but sadly the tail button has stopped working after a month and a half. The toy was ordered for him while visiting in the US (a gift from family there) and we have since returned to the UK. I have contacted Mattel services in the UK and they told me I had to contact amazon.com (where is was purchased), but as it has been a little over a month, they have directed me to Mattel services US. I can’t seem to get any help with this issue.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought and imported this toy from the US (since this is not available in the Philippines, thus i bought this at a price double than that in retail since i had to ship this to the Philippines) for my son’s 7th Birthday and the button that makes it roar broke only one month of normal use. I tried contacting Mattel Service online but it only caters to US and Canada residents, i feel Disappointed that this is a poorly made product, moreso that support is unavailable for countries outside of US and Canada. i hope Mattel would reach out and rectify this.</span>
