However, the foot rest is really hard to push back once it comes out. The lever for the footrest and recline is quite tight and is not easy to use with one hand while sitting and holding a child. So far I removed FIVE staples. I would complain and return it, but it's a bit of a hassle as the chair is big and heavy, I rather just fix it myself. My only issue is the leather is a little loud since it&rsquo;s pretty stiff (still comfy). We saw the label and thought it meant coloured jeans which is usually implied when someone refers to denim, however be aware that this is a Montreal company and I believe the warning label was not translated to english appropriately because it should read &quot;Do not wear coloured CLOTHES while using the chair&quot; it's not just denim any coloured fabric will transfer colour to this chair. The 3 star review that raves about the chair and how it wipes clean is timed very well. To be completely honest, we don't have kids (yet) but a friend of mine has this in her nursery and I fell in love when I sat down! We have this in our living room and we're getting another one! Someone else mentioned that your clothes can leave marks; yes, however... I have a blanket on the seat at all times and when it does get a little dirty on the back, you simply wipe it with rubbing alcohol and water and it comes right off! One downside it that it is quite noisy... in the sense that every time you recline back, the leather rubs and makes a squeaking noise. It fades away considerably after time, but it's still quite noticeable. Fine for us right now, but a baby might be woken up by it! Aside from that, we love the chair and compared to actual gliders/recliners from furniture stores, you're paying a fraction of the price!
