This camera/monitor is amazing! Pictures are so clear, the mic works well if you wanna 2-way while someone&rsquo;s in the room &amp; the volume is pretty loud, you can make the picture B&amp;W or colored. It also displays the temp in the room, A nightlight that has tons of colors &amp; music! You can mount it, we haven&rsquo;t yet though. For a few my camera was laggy because it does connect to the WI-FI. The battery has lasted now 9.5 hours and it doesn&rsquo;t take very long to charge and use. It was hard at first to set up because the second camera wouldn&rsquo;t connect but I reset it and started all over again. It worked out great after I restarted it. The video on the monitor is very clear. The sound is also clear. And I love the different music and sound options. The colored base on the cameras is another favorite of mine. Now I can watch my grandson and do things that I normally did before he was born. They look nice and are well made. The camera isn&rsquo;t pixely at all and the sound and video quality is great! We have the display downstairs during the day to watch our baby while she naps and we bring it up stairs to our room at bed time when we all go to sleep. I love that it&rsquo;s so easy to move from one place to another. I also like that the set came with mounting equipment! We haven&rsquo;t mounted ours yet but plan to. Over all a very great set and I like that it comes with an app too! You can connect it to Wi-Fi to use the app and other features or you can just set it up straight out of the box with no Wi-Fi. It was crazy easy to get it set up. Loop 1 is a closed loop 2.4GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum, and is always on, working out of the box, connecting the Parent Unit to the Camera. No one but the parent unit sees this feed. There is a second mode, called WiFi, that can allow the camera to send the audio/video feed to your local router, and from there out to the internet. This WiFi mode is in the OFF position from the factory BY DEFAULT. To enable WiFi, you need to pair the camera to your router (this is a one time setup, you do not have to repeat this after the first time), then you need to download the Free Leapfrog App from the App store. Create a password protected account with the App in order to access the feed from any smart device (iphone, Android, tablet) connected to the web (without the App and password, no access), but there&#39;s still one more level of protection, you have to toggle the WiFi ON from the parent unit. You can also toggle it back OFF at any time, making anyone with the APP unable to see anything. You control the WiFi from the Parent unit, after it&#39;s set up. So you can turn it On to let Grandparents see at a specific time, or when you leave home for a short business trip, then toggle it Off when you no longer want the WiFi available.
