The set up process was very easy, even downloading the app to be able to view on my phone! This has an amazing picture with the high definition. The battery life is amazing, I charge it for a few hours before bedtime and it lasts all night long. The color nightvison blew my mind! I love the color options to soften the light in my child's room. Being able to move the camera to look all around my child's room is a huge bonus, that way when he's playing I can check on him without disrupting him. There's also an amazing option to have a tone alert for when movement is detected. The app has the function to record movement through the night but I found that it shows me the same video with different time stamps, and the talk button seems to be very quiet in my child's room, my husband can barely hear me when I press it to speak. I think my favorite feature is that there is a nightlight on the camera itself so you don't need to have to choose between a nightlight and the camera if you only have one outlet available. It can be used with or without WiFi. It has a 360 camera with a wide angle view up to 110 degrees. The camera can be controlled via the parent viewer or through the your smart device via the Leapfrog app. It has two way talk back intercom. Which works great for us, I use this monitor with my older disabled son, he has cerebral palsy and epilepsy and from time to time he needs assistance. This monitor gives us the ability to keep a close eye on him, in case he starts to have a seizure or if he needs assistance to get out of bed etc. If he needs something during the night, the monitor is a great way for him to communicate with me. We love the night light feature and all the color and brightness options. I also love the humidity and temperature feature, we have an older home, and this gives me the assurance that his room is at the proper temperature depending on the current season. As far as the Lullabies and (so called) soothing sounds, is my absolute LEAST favorite option on this monitor, I found them all extremely annoying. The picture quality is great for daytime and night vision. The pan, tilt and zoom on this camera is great and easy to adjust/operate. Some video and some not. This is by far the most superior to any we&rsquo;ve tried. Setup is extremely easy and user friendly. The picture is clear, even in night vision. I love that it has a built in night light and sound feature. The camera pans the entire room which is super helpful once you have a little one who gets up out of their bed. Being able to check the app from wherever we are is a bonus I couldn&rsquo;t live without now. Gives me peace of mind when we have a babysitter. We do have some connectivity issues from time to time with the parent viewer but I&rsquo;m certain that is due to our internet connection and not the monitor. I have tried Owlet, Motorola, and Vtech brands. The latest one we were using was a Vtech. I was satisfied but it was bare minimum. This Leap Frog baby monitor is top notch from picture quality, technology and features! I would buy this 2x over. I am currently trying to figure out if I can purchase an extra camera. The picture quality on this camera is great. The range of motion and viewing range is exactly what I have been looking for&hellip;I can finally see everything! I love that you can control the cameras movement with the monitor or the app. There are so many features from lights to music my babies will never get bored with this one. I also really love the &ldquo;parking mode&rdquo; and sometimes just use it as dim lighting in the room. The WiFi works great no connectivity issues when I am monitoring from my phone. With Owlet I was constantly getting disconnected from the WiFi and could never actually use monitoring feature. I am so glad I can use either the app or the actual hand held monitor with the Leap Frog. The hand held monitor of has a beautified full color screen and is so easy to use. It is Wi-Fi enabled so you&rsquo;re able to use either the handheld device that it comes with or you can use your cell phone. It was extremely easy to set up and it does come with a wall mount included, it has quite a few color options that you can change the light with and it has quite a few different melodies that it can play. The zoom in feature works very well and it&rsquo;s pretty clear. It definitely looks better on your phone than it does on the handheld device, but even on the handheld device, it still looks nice , one of my only complaint is that I can&rsquo;t figure out how to change the melody and color options on your cell phone. I could only figure out how to do it on the handheld device. They ship in the box with WiFi Dissabled, and will work only on a closed loop 2.4GHz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) between the Parent LCD and the Camera. You have to Enable WiFi manually on the Parent unit via the menu, and then set-up the online account with your unique password by downloading the free MyVtech App from the App Store before WiFi will work.
