Unboxing was a snap and the directions were on point! Always love when it’s easy for everyone. It’s a very sturdy, durable plastic and the handle is a soft texture rubber that is just as strong. My kiddo is three and has figured out everything already on using it. You can snap it on a backpack or toss it in your bag with ease. It has a tail that you manipulate to change from one action to another very easy with a easy to see guide notched in the back. The front of the the screen lights up and talks, reads, play songs, lullabies or record your own voice for your child to listen to you or themselves! It has a headphone jack not included and you can expand the content by downloading more things. It also has a plug in to the computer access, but the cord is not included. What an amazing learning toy for playtime to bedtime with a bedtime timer with the lullabies!! It has 37 stories, 25 songs and poems and 10 lullabies already on it. I could go on and on about this adorable toy because it’s just packed with fun and excitement!!! Definitely recommend trying this one out you definitely won’t regret it!!</span>

However after getting it and trying it out it is my older 5-year-old who absolutely adores this! She uses us every night to listen to stories before she goes to bed, highly recommend my only complaint is that I wish there was a way just to keep it plugged into the wall so it would keep playing throughout the night, however the battery is rechargeable so it does make it very convenient if you want to take it with you on outings.</span>

I save it as a treat, and my kids will ask to listen to it before bedtime. I can even make a playlist for them of their favorite stories. My younger children like to listen to familiar songs and rhymes, such as Pat-a-Cake and the Wheels on the Bus. And the lullabies are good for any age! You can also connect it to the computer and download even more stories. (It does need a micro-USB cord to do this, which is not included with the Story Pal.) We are enjoying this very much!</span>

It can be used with headphones, however, we find it easier to just let it play out loud so both kids can hear it.</span>

There are 37 stories, 25 songs and poems, and 10 lullabies. You do need a computer, internet connection, parent registration and a Leap Frog application is required to register a device and install additional content. It was surprisingly easy to set up and ready to use in 30-40 minutes. This toy sparks imagination and has kid-friendly controls which are large, easy-to-navigate controls. There's even a bedtime timer so you can choose the number of stories to play before it automatically shuts off. I love toys that stimulate the mind and spark creativity. This is something we will continue to use regularly.</span>
