<span itemprop="description">I bought this almost a year ago for my now-18-month-old daughter, and even after a year, she still loves it and plays with it. Most of the pieces have vanished, and she never really took much interest in them, anyway. But the little talking basket is still one of her favorite toys. Right now she uses it to store her little mini board books, and she loves opening and closing the basket lid and listening to it talk. I'm pretty convinced that it was primarily this basket that taught her the difference between "open" and "close." She still gets "up" and "down" mixed up occasionally, but she's figuring it out. This thing is insanely durable, too. It's lived through being chewed on, kicked, tossed, dropped, etc. and still runs like a champ. Definitely a worthwhile buy!</span>

Everything is wonderful with the toy, the songs are okay, the voice isn't horrible, & it's a fun imagination play toy. However, my daughter can fit the foods into her mouth! COMPLETELY! The 'orange' and 'cookie' are circles, she walked over to me the other day all smiles & proud of herself with the cookie completely in her mouth. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze her cheeks the cookie started to slide out. The age group for this toy is 6-36 months! NO WAY! My daughter is now 1 and I have taken the toy (at least the food parts) away. Either the foods need to be bigger or the age group needs to be changed on this toy. Please, do NOT buy this toy for your child(ren)! I highly believe that Leapfrog needs to revise this toy!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Lots of fun for both of my children, aged 12 months and 5 years. So far, we all think the songs are a lovely way to remind the children about manners and sharing, and they haven't got annoying at all (yet!) My baby loves putting the picnic things in and out of the basket, and pressing the button for songs, and my 5 year old enjoys helping her sister to set up the picnic on the little blanket, then they have fun pretending to eat and drink together. The shape-sorting plates are a lovely touch, and the whole toy has provided hours of fun. Really pleased we got it!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a very cute looking picnic basket toy complete with "food" and plates. The food items are a variety of colours and shapes which the picnic basket asks the child about. There are two levels of volume and two play modes. In the song/music mode the basket will sing songs such as the "please and thank-you song" to teach children about manners. It will also play tunes as the basket is opened. In the learning mode, when the button is pressed it will ask questions like "can you find the food shaped like a circle". I thought it would be like some of the other toys on the market and would talk as the food was placed in the basket but it only speaks if you press the butterfly shaped button on the front. Not that that's a problem. I find it very educational.</span>

<span itemprop="description">At first I thought this toy was super neat and fun, but the same day we got it my 13 month old baby hit the side of the picnic basket with her arm and somehow one of the lids closed in her right cheek! She got a bruise and a line in her cheek that looks like a cut, but it is not a cut, it is the way the lid closed in her cheek, and even though she didn't bleed it looks like she cut and bruised herself pretty bad on her cheek. I still can't believe how bad she got hurt, so it is very hard for me to see that toy and not get angry and upset, after all this toy is for 6-36 months old babies so is not like she was playing with a toy not age appropriate for her.</span>
