My son has started to show interest in holding his own bottle, so we quickly attached the hand grips to make it easier, and he loves it! MAM pacifiers are also his favorite, so it's great to have an option from the very beginning. Now that we're in daycare I need to prep bottles, so the caps help me do that without using all of the nipples (so helpful!). I can test out the different nipple flows as well, but the best part of all, these bottles do not cause any gas or extra air! What the baby gift set is : a STARTER set that comes with interchangeable parts. The best thing about MAM is that you don&rsquo;t have to worry about if the nipple will fit the 8oz bottle or the smaller bottle. All parts can be switched and used as baby grows, Amazing!! The set comes with a newborn pacifier which gives parents the option to try a pacifier that is uniquely shaped to fit the tiny babies mouth and possibly all the bottles you will need throughout the babies growth! I loved being able to try it out before buying as babies, especially my little Paisley can be very Particular about their bottles. I liked the size and shape of this bottle. We actually tried another brand that is around the same size, but I don&rsquo;t really like the way that one fit in my hand, but this one is very comfortable with the way it&rsquo;s shaped. I also like how the bottom has a thicker hard plastic on it. Not only does it give it a more upscale look, it also acts as a nice and comfortable grip for your hand. The Teddy Bear and Paw Print Decoration is a nice touch too. The nipple has a little bit of a different shape to it. It&rsquo;s sort of flat in the middle and then goes out to a normal tip. That would be the only &ldquo;complaint&rdquo; I have. I do like the shape, but it did take Paisley a couple of tries to get the hang of it because she is so used to the &ldquo;normal&rdquo; ones, but, no biggie. PROS: The uniquely designed MAM nipple makes pace feeding extremely easy compared to many other bottles I&rsquo;ve tried. The bottle&rsquo;s wider design and minimal parts make cleaning much easier than other bottles on the market. My babies easily transitioned from breast to this bottle. CON: The twist off bottom can leak if it&rsquo;s not properly attached. This was not a recurring problem once I was more familiar with the bottle&rsquo;s design. We recently found out that our cute little man has a hole in his heart. Because of this, we needed to look for ways to help him conserve his energy and boost his calories. While he still breastfeeds, we need to give him a couple bottles a day of fortified breast milk to help him gain weight. Since we already use and love the MAM pacifiers, it only made sense to try their bottle. We were hooked from the start! Baby latched on right away and did not seem to have any issues with the flow which is super important especially with fortified breast milk. He also does not seem to have issues switching from bottle to breast. I have found it a little difficult to assemble the bottle one-handed, so I&rsquo;ve started putting the necessary amount of milk in it and keep it in the fridge, that way I only need one hand to warm it and we&rsquo;re ready to eat! It&rsquo;s super easy to sterilize- totally self contained in the microwave! Great for a quick turnaround if it gets licked by a puppy.
