How do you choose the perfect one for your LO, especially with all of the features each one claims to provide?! We&rsquo;ve tried a few different brands and found that my daughter really liked a different name brand bottle because it most resembled the boob. Fast-forward 4 months and she has a new bottle she really likes! We hadn&rsquo;t tried the Mam bottle before, but as part of the #weeSpringParentPanel , we received this free @mam_usa bottle to try out in return for our honest review. I didn&rsquo;t think she would like it because she is so used to the current one she's using and this one looks nothing like it. Lo and behold, she loves the new MAM bottle! The flattened nipple design makes it easy for her drink her &ldquo;liquid gold&rdquo; and the base is vented to prevent air bubbles to help with colic and gas! Its really cool watching the pressure balance as she is drinking, to avoid air getting in her tummy. Personally, I LOVE that you can sterilize it by itself with nothing else needed! I am going through so many sterilizing bags with her other bottle, but this bottle doesn&rsquo;t need it! It also has interchangeable nipples you can buy, depending on the flow you need. Being breastfed babies, all three of my children have had a hard time taking bottles until we were introduced to the MAM Bottle we were gifted by the weeSpring Parent Panel! The unique shape of the nipple made for easy latching. Our baby had zero nipple confusion. The anti-colic design worked especially well leaving no gas bubbles in baby's belly. We have used several anti-colic bottles and this MAM Bottle has come out on top! The design of the bottle itself is wide enough for the baby to grasp and hold himself, once he gets old enough. After the bottle was opened and cleaned, I did have to look at the directions to assemble it again just to make sure it was correctly put together. I have not had trouble since putting it together the first time! So I don&rsquo;t know any mom who is like, &ldquo;You know, my baby really isn&rsquo;t gassy!&rdquo; (And if that&rsquo;s you...lucky duck!), so when Josie and I got an opportunity to try out this MAM anti-colic bottle bottle provided by the weeSpring Parent Panel, I was pumped to give it a go. Honestly, I&rsquo;m a lazy person, so a bottle with lots of small parts was never in my child-rearing future, but for a bottle with &ldquo;parts,&rdquo; this one is fairly easy to use. It&rsquo;s got wider openings for easier cleaning- I liked how both ends of the bottle screwed apart for cleaning, and the vent system at the bottom seemed to help air escape easily. Truthfully, we had more efficient burps when using the MAM bottle and no spit ups. I love the nipple, which is a lot like the company&rsquo;s pacifiers (the only ones Jo will take) and the coolest part has to be its self-sterilizing component. It can go in the microwave by itself for a quick sterilization which works for this busy (read: lazy) mommy! Flat Nipple Shape: As a mom who exclusively breastfeeds it is very important to me that we utilize a bottle with a nipple shape and base that aligns with our breast-feeding goals. We do not want nipple confusion! The unique nipple shape of the MAM Anti-Colic bottle made it easy for my little one (2 weeks old) to switch from bottle to breast without any nipple confusion. 2. Vented Base: This design is truly unique. The vented base regulates pressure and air bubbles are pulled to the bottom of the bottle and away from my little one's tummy. 3. Bottle Design: I loved the wide shape and feel of the bottle. This put me on the hunt for a good bottle. I was looking for something that would avoid nipple confusion, help reduce my baby's reflux, and was easy to clean. The MAM anti-colic bottle definitely ticks off all the marks of what I was looking for! The nipple is specially designed to help reduce reflux and simulates a nipple. This made me happy because I was nervous about nipple confusion but so far my baby hasn't seemed to have any problems when I nurse him. My baby also seems to burp much easier after using this bottle. The bottle is also easy to clean and sanitize. All you do is add water to the base and pop it in the microwave for a few minutes. The included instructions are easy to follow. I also tried other bottles, but they were not as easy to sterilize. The only minus with this bottle was sometimes the milk would leak out the side once tipped. I even had someone else try to make sure it wasn't just me. I found to avoid this you need to make sure you hear the &quot;click&quot; of the nipple into the top of the bottle screw ring to avoid spilling milk all over your baby in the middle of the night, like I did the first time! Other than that, I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a bottle that will avoid nipple confusion, help reduce reflux, is easy to clean, and that your baby will enjoy! But sadly, I am a bottle hoarder because baby boy has acid reflux. Yes, I admit I have been in search of the perfect bottle that suits my sons needs. With my first child we used one brand and it worked, I did not have to buy or change bottles once with her. This time around I started with boy version of what my daughter used thinking it was a one size fits all miracle bottle. Boy was I wrong, my son had terrible acid reflux starting within his second week home. At this time, he was breastfed and formula fed due to supply issues and lack of time available to pump. So naturally, I ran out frantically searching for a replacement bottle system for babies with acid reflux. I found the nipples to be unnaturally shaped and above all else had too many parts to clean and reassemble. My son has spit up just as much with these than his original bottles. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I was sent a Mam bottle in the mail. My son and I no longer do nursing sessions, but I found the nipple on this bottle to be very comfortable and mimics the natural curvature of a breast nipple. The silicone is very soft and seems very comfortable for my sons mouth as it hits his palette in a natural position. If you've looked at other bottles in stores you will notice some a very pointy and do not look or feel natural. Another nice feature I liked with the Mam bottle is the base of the bottle has vent holes to allow air flow in a more natural way. We've been religiously using this bottle every day and every feeding (formula and rice cereal mix) and he has yet to spit up. Why isn't everyone doing this because it makes a momma's life so much easier. It's a heavier bottle, made of great BPA free plastic, and makes it easier for you to hold while nursing. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my daughter didn't love the nipple. It's flat instead of round so it was a little confusing for her and warming it up can be complicated because of the sterilization feature on the bottom. Overall you will not be disappointed if you use MAM bottles. Then we tried this MAM anti-colic bottle that was our game changer! He did his typical biting down on it at first, but after rubbing it on his lips a few times, he knew to suck on it! He never attempted to even suck on the other bottles, so I believe the shape of the nipple is what made the difference.
