There has been several moments where I needed an extended viewpoint of the room the monitor is located, but couldn't get there with the limited movement. I also really enjoy cry assist. Our house isn't huge, but it does block sound quite well. The cry assist helped notify me that my baby was upset when I couldn't necessarily hear it from downstairs. Other features are pretty standard on other monitors, but of course I appreciate them on See Pro monitor. Features like temperature, music, recording etc. Great monitor! With the option to freely set the camera in any location or mount the camera stationary is a versatile feature that I enjoyed playing with. Being a 360 camera, I preferred to freely locate it where I wanted depending on lighting, time, etc. and with night vision mode certain angles are clearer being in a specific location. The design is elegant and modern- much more pleasing to the aesthetic over previous makes and models. Audio and visual display are crisp and keep up perfectly with a good Wi-Fi signal. I am still exploring all of the diverse settings and features, as I am more of a hands on mama. When baby gets older I bet I'll rely on my See Pro just a little more and find new ways to continue to utilize its intelligence. I haven't used the &quot;cry assist&quot; feature yet, but plan to when I'm more comfortable and baby is a little bit less vulnerable (hover mother!) I can imagine it being a great tool when I'm downstairs doing laundry or dishes and baby's in her nursery. White noise and sound options are great to drown out any outside noise (city construction, neighbors, dogs, etc.) I didn't rely on this feature as I did not need it. Motion detection is great! Example: Our kitty got into the nursery and wanted to snuggle with baby, with is adorable but not safe so to accidental suffocation, so I was alerted and removed our well meaning kitty. This feature uses AI to translate your baby's cries so you know if they are sleepy, fussy, gassy, agitated, hungry etc. I found this extremely helpful (and accurate!) especially in the middle of the night. I love the parent display and the ease of navigating through it. I also loved that I could pull up the camera via the app on my phone. This is a very capable, advanced monitor that's also easy to use and understand. The sound and video quality are excellent. The picture is clear and precise, and the sound is equally strong. The 360 degree view is convenient- I've used it to angle back and forth from my child's crib to the adjacent rocking chair to check on things while another caregiver is rocking him. The CryAssist feature has been nice to use; although I'm usually diligent to keep a constant watch on the monitor, the CryAssist has been nice to use when I'm unable to keep an eye on it (for instance, while playing with my other child). The parent display is easy to use and pretty self-explanatory. It offers lots of settings options, like temperature and humidity detectors which you can set and adjust yourself, movement detection, and songs/sounds to play for baby. The picture on the parent display is huge compared to most, which I really appreciate. The camera can focus in on baby at a close range, or see an entire room when placed correctly; this is especially nice when kids grow and can move more freely around the room. I love the ability to take photos and videos with use of a microSD card as well. The accompanying app takes the convenience of this monitor through the roof. This allows me to keep an eye on baby with my phone, and leave the parent display monitor for caregivers. This gives me peace of mind, and also means I'm never far from a device to keep an eye on my child. (I can also take cute sleeping baby screenshots with my phone!) Although I didn't use the phone app, I like that it has the option to use that or the monitor. There were some features that I found less than desirable: There is a blue light that turns on, showing the camera has power, which was distracting for my baby when trying to sleep. This can be turned off but it was far from intuitive. Additionally, navigating the parent display can be challenging depending on what you are trying to do. Typically baby monitors have either a tangible screen you can carry around with you (parent display) or work over wifi with an app for your phone. This monitor has both. This is such a great feature. With a phone app, I worry that when I switch to a different app or use my phone for anything else I will miss hearing my baby when he needs me. It is also annoying when other people babysit. With the parent display, it's easy to misplace the screen and then you waste your baby's precious nap time searching for it. The See Pro gives both options- I can check the monitor from my phone (even while I'm at work and he's with a sitter!) or I can walk around with the physical monitor. Before setting up the monitor, I was pretty skeptical of the CryAssist feature, but it is actually quite accurate! I use the Huckleberry app, which predicts when the baby will need his naps, and it always lines up that right as the app says the baby is ready for a nap, the CryAssist feature will translate the cry as sleepy. I am so impressed that a computer can actually figure this out. I have found this to be a super user-friendly, high quality monitor that I would recommend to any pregnant friends. First of all, it is aesthetically pleasing as a white camera with a bamboo base. It looks great in the nursery and doesn't stick out in a sweet, lightly colored nursery. I appreciate that a good aesthetic device. It also had the option for a dresser mount, wall mount and a little wedge if you need it at a different angle. I love the options! It was easy to set up- equipment wise and the app was easy to download and set up, as well. The parent display monitor is large and has a very clear picture during the day and at night. You can practically see the tears on your baby's face. The sound is clear and you have the ability to talk back and forth. The Cry Assist feature was really nice to see if it was just a whimper or a full blown- &quot;mom I need you, feed me&quot;. I love that you have the opportunity to use both the monitor (which is handy for babysitters) or to download the app. I loved being able to check in on baby if I am not home but if this feature makes you nervous, you don't have to hook it up to WiFi. I didn't even know this type of tech existed so I was so impressed to see that it works so well. If your baby cries a lot, this device is a game changer. I'll also say that it was insanely easy to set up the monitor. They use a QR code to connect - which was really quick. It's also cool that you can use the parent display monitor or the app to keep an eye on baby. The versatility and options are awesome, especially if you're traveling. Oh and this thing holds a charge so well. Way longer than my previous baby monitor. In my opinion, there are some setbacks to the parent display. To change the volume or brightness, you must click down into a menu first. I wish there were just standalone buttons to turn them up or down instead. I also notice that the display is crystal clear during the day/with light, but it's a bit grainy in night vision, which is when I mainly use it. Lastly, the camera picks up every little sound which can be a good and bad thing depending on your kid. Probably varies by family. What I do love most about it is the CryAssist. As first time parents of a 4mo old, the AI interpretation of our son's crying has been so validating and helpful in meeting his needs. I especially love that it not only tells you what type of cry, but it also provides useful information like how the cry sounds so we can detect it ourselves in the future and how best to meet that particular need. If we had this monitor from the start, this truly would have been a game changer for us in sorting out what our baby needed most since we really had no clue. Why I gave this 3 stars however is the annoying blue blinking light on the monitor for internet connection. While we had no trouble using it in our own home, we recently took this monitor on a trip for a week where we stayed in a multilevel condo and could not get the monitor to stay connected. We knew that our phones wouldn't connect to it, but the parent display works regardless and could have been enough if it weren't for the monitor light constantly switching from red to blue and continuously blinking. It was so bright and obnoxious that we had to turn it off at night or face it away during naps. I hope this and the display get improved because the CryAssist is definitely worth having as first time parents or for other caregivers in your home. I didn't enjoy how overly sensitive it was. It would alert me to a child crying while the child was in the living room with me. I my phone during the day and used the parent monitor next to my bed at night. I was glad to have the parent monitor because I try not to use my phone at night. The parent monitor is easy to use, but doesn't have a way to turn it sleep mode you had to wait a minimum of 1 minute for the screen to go dark. Over all I would still like to add another one of these monitors to my home, because having such a clear picture when checking on my children is very important to me. I don't want to miss them needing me. It's a fantastic upgrade from the monitor I used for the first few months with my baby until we received this. The best part about this monitor is that you can use it with and without Wifi. Using with Wifi is so convenient because we can see our baby on our phones when we want to take a quick peek, but also use the Parent Display overnight. However, traveling with a Wifi monitor can be a nightmare, so it was so convenient to use this monitor without Wifi on a recent trip - no more trying to connect to hotel Wifi! It was incredibly easy to set up on our home network - and the one time we traveled to visit family and connected to their wifi. Mounting to the wall was a breeze, as is taking the monitor off the wall to travel. My husband and I both love the Parent Display. The picture is so clear, even in the dark! The battery life has been great so far, and it's easy to navigate. There are so many features that make this monitor an upgrade pick. You can turn the camera's LED light on or off in the app and change the sensitivity of the crying and movement notifications based on your baby (mine loves to shout in his sleep, so we cranked up those sensitivity settings). You can also add other users, which was convenient when my parents babysat and wanted to use the app on their phones. We haven't used the music or white noise features, because we already had a white noise machine. We do use the temperature and humidity sensors and have found that they are actually accurate (we compared to our standalone temperature sensor)! We also didn't use the Cry Assist feature much, because it seems to require that notifications are turned on. However, we found that we preferred to just have the sound turned on the Parent Display rather than rely on phone notifications for crying. Overall, I have loved this monitor! Additionally, the camera has a really cute design, and can either be fixed to the ceiling or placed on a surface. My husband is abroad for work, and loves talking to the baby using the app. He says the app is very intuitive and easy to use. He can also hear her babble and speak to me using the camera. When he's home, he can use his phone to monitor her in his workspace and I can use the monitor in a different room. Very impressive! The music selection is also great. The tunes are very soothing and great for putting the baby to sleep. The music can be chosen from from the monitor or from your phone. If I need an extra moment and the baby has started stirring, it's so helpful to be able to talk to her or play her some music. The temperature and humidity features are also so helpful, as we live in a very dry, cold climate. After using this for a while, we decided to invest in a humidifier as the humidity is very low and our baby frequently has dry skin as a result. Now we can use the monitor to make sure it's humid enough for the baby and that the room doesn't get too cold. As for the monitor/screen itself, the display is high quality. The buttons and menu are set up in an intuitive way that is useful for parents of any age or understanding of technology. The camera and monitor themselves seem very durable. The image clarity is far better than any monitor we have used in the past and what stood out was the audio quality. We have swapped this monitor out between our toddler and infant in order to get a good feel for it and have been extremely pleased with it. With previous monitors, we never used the two way talking because our voices came out scary where the See Pro 360&deg; has clear audio allowing us to talk to our toddler without frightening her. The battery life on the parent unit was also the best we've used which lasted 3 times as long as our previous one. We were initially skeptical of the CryAssist feature but found that it was surprisingly accurate. We are still a bit reluctant to solely rely on CryAssist but it has been extremely useful in helping us quickly determine whether or not we needed to go pick up our little. Navigating the menu on the parent unit was not as intuitive as we would have liked but was not difficult and we quickly became familiar with it.
