It's portable, insanely quiet, has powerful suction and increased my supply. Meleda has made it easier to pump and care for little ones without having to worry about them pulling hoses or bottles. Multitasking made easy. The cups are nicely shaped. They fit perfectly inside my nursing/regular bra and have a natural shape to them. I do look like I have large breasts, but honestly with a looser fitting top, pumping in public is no big deal. The cups are a better shape and size than some that I&rsquo;ve seen and the option to customize the shield size is key. Very comfortable and easy to see nipple alignment/let down through the clear side. I also love that there is an audible click when the cup are assembled correctly as it makes worrying about leaks a thing of the past (a common issue with many wearable pumps). The simple design with very few parts has made it quick and easy to clean which is ideal for a busy mama. The tubing can be configured two ways: inward or outward and can easily be strung down inside of shirt for even more discreet pumping. Tubing length is adequate and seems sturdy. It's tricky to pick a favorite feature when I have nothing but great things to say about the collection cups and pump. The fact that the collection cups are compatible with other Medela pumps is amazing. There's no need to buy a specific pump or a new pump in order to use the collection cups. I've been using them with my Medela Pump in Style Maxflow and it has been a dream. They are very easy to assemble and come apart for easy cleaning. I enjoyed how hands free they actually are. They sit nicely in a bra without the bulk of a traditional pump. I found that I was able to move around freely while pumping which saved me a considerable amount of time. For example: doing my hair and makeup or folding the laundry was still possible while pumping. I found I didn't have to worry about the milk spilling white moving around which was an added bonus. When done pumping, the milk is easily transferred from the cups to either a bottle or a milk storage bag. Although Medela notes that you do not need to remove the o-ring each time you go to clean your cups I did experience some milk getting under them so I opted to remove them for a thorough clean. This did not add much time or effort to the very simple cleaning process. Overall, I wish I had these earlier on in my baby journey! The cups were very simple and user friendly. One of my biggest worries was that they wouldn&rsquo;t stay on while I was trying to do other things but that was not an issue at all. Fellow mamas know the endless list of tasks we need to do in a day and I&rsquo;m so glad I was able to multitask with these. Previously when I would go to pump, I would be stuck holding the pump and unable to do much else during the session. This was my favourite feature, being hands free while pumping. As with all other Medela products I&rsquo;ve tried, the parts were super easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning. Well, these Medela hands free collection cups have you covered. Not only are they smaller than other hands-free cups, compared to the originals that came with my freestyle pump, they leak less and hold just about the same amount of milk. They fit in most of my bras, so no need for designated pumping bras, and are really comfy to wear. I wear them while doing all sorts of things around the hous, and they stay snug most of the time. While I was able to do similar things with my other cups, they would often leak or spill if I moved too much, especially near the end of a pumping session. Overall, cleaning and assembly are easy, the o-ring is pretty cool as it creates a very tight seal. The only downside is there's no tab for easy opening after pumping, but other than that, I have had no issues and find them really easy to use. I haven't had to clean the O-Ring with the cups, but if milk did get in there, it wouldn't be difficult to sanitize. They fit perfectly in my bra and provide a more discrete method of pumping. Each cup has a natural profile of a breast so the shape is not too awkward when using. The cups came with two breast shield sizes (21mm and 24mm) to accommodate different nipple sizes. The cups are very lightweight and do not weigh you down while trying to pump and do things around the house. As an exclusive pumper, this product could be improved if the shields were a silicone based material, rather than plastic, which would help to avoid swelling of the nipples while pumping. The cups sit flat when placed down on surfaces so the milk will not spill out. At the top of each cup, there is a small opening so it is very easy to pour the milk out of the cups without spilling. They also have a good seal so there is no spillage halfway through a pump session. This product is extremely innovative. It is great that Medela has add-on products that compliment existing products that people already own. For example, instead of needing to get a brand new portable pump, I can now use these collection cups with my existing Pump in Style breast pump to provide a more portable option for pumping. The parts can be cleaned with ease and I like how the O-ring on the cups does not have to be removed each time I clean the cups. They don't require a special pumping bra and the small shape makes it 100x easier to actually be hands free. These cups are a game changer and address the biggest complaint I had with the freestyle flex (that the bottles were too big to hold my baby or do many other things). It's important to note that the collection cups do hold much less milk than the bottles, requiring you to stop and empty them if you are an over producer. However, I love this new product and that it works with the same motor as my freestyle flex. The cups were really easy to clean and fit nicely in my nursing bra. BUT no matter how nice those things are the pump needs to support the basic function of holding milk and it did not do that. The pump leaked from the bottom seam where you connect the two parts. I tried many times to get it to shut differently and it would always give a satisfying click (just like the Medela instructional video suggested). With my first child I pumped all the time, and even donated breastmilk to other moms. However, when I had my second it was so hard to find time to sit down and pump with a toddler around and I didn't do much. With my 3rd baby being born this spring I just assumed pumping would be impossible. The hands-free collection cups changed the game for me. I can walk around and help my older two children, cook dinner, and even take the dog for a walk. I've got a stash of breastmilk in my freezer because of these cups! Now I wouldn't say that they're discreet, but with a sweater or jacket over top no one would notice you using them. To make things even better, they can go in the dishwasher. You don't even have to remove to O-ring from them before you wash them. Another positive about these hands free cups is how well they removed milk from the breast. I'm not sure if its the &quot;nipple tunnel&quot; or being able to position them easily, but I got more milk using the hands free collection cups than I do with my traditional pump. There are a couple negatives with them of course. I struggled to put the two main pieces of the cups together for a while when I started using them, despite studying the instructions and pictures. I also had some issues with milk spilling from the nipple tunnel after I removed them. The instructions do recommend you lean forward while the pump is on to get all of the milk into the cups instead, but I still had some spillage. Overall these are 5 stars. 10/10. My favourite pump accessory I own by far. I will only be using these going forward because they are more effective and comfortable than the traditional pump parts. I had been interested in a hands free pump for a while, but couldn't validate buying a whole new pump for my last child when I already have some. This accessory being compatible with my existing pumps saves money and feels less wasteful. The cups are comfortable to use and fits well within my nursing bras. I use it with my medela freestyle pump so overall it is decently discreet. I mostly pump at home and now I have the freedom of doing it while driving to work, which is a 20 mins saving every morning! It is easy to wash and assemble, which is critical for a working mom. Less work = less trouble = more incentive to pump. The only issue I have is the limited flange size. My output is best with a smaller flange size, but medela doesn&rsquo;t go lower than 21mm. I found them quite straightforward to start using. I had some leaking the first time I used them as I did not have them properly sealed but this was easily rectified - I would encourage trying them out at home first and not in public for this reason. The hands free capability was a nice convenience and has allowed me to pump more on the go around the house. I also did bring them to attend my sister's wedding which allowed me to be more available for maid of honour duties. They&rsquo;re comfortable in my bra, they&rsquo;re super easy to clean (though sometimes a bit hard to take apart), and my favourite thing about them is that they come with a tubing adapter so I can use them with the main unit of my other Medela pump! They&rsquo;re very easy to put together and use, and they only consist of three separate parts. I find they are not the most discreet while I&rsquo;m wearing them (I&rsquo;m fairly large-chested and they stick out quite a bit), but I only pump at home so it&rsquo;s not a problem for me. They also come with two different flange sizes (21mm and 24mm) which I appreciated. The biggest downside for me is that they do only have a 5oz capacity, and as an over-producer I sometimes have to empty them out mid-pump. If they had larger capacity size options they would definitely be a 5 star product for me. They were very effective and extremely convenient. I am an exclusive pumper and therefore own two pumps. For my at home pumping I use my Medela freestyle flex and was using my S12 momcozy when needing to pump on the go. I have a large oversupply and therefore pump multiple time a day. The momcozy would not empty me properly and therefore I had to travel with both pumping systems. I was given the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups breast pump accessory to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The new collection cups allowed me to feel confident that I was emptying my breasts as the momcozy were not sufficient (motor was not strong enough). I found the momcozy&rsquo;s very loud and bulky (they are shaped like a bowl) and my Medela freestyle is much more discreet thanks to the quietness of the motor and the Hands-free Collection Cups shape (shaped like a breast) . I was actually able to pump during a work meeting without colleagues noticing. I would not have done this with my momcozy&rsquo;s. Due to my large supply, I would fill up the cups and therefore would ensure to stay seated upright. However I can see for someone with a smaller supply, the collection cups might allow you the bend forward a little and give you more flexibility to move around. I found the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups much easier to clean and put together compared to the momcozy&rsquo;s. The Medela Hands-free Collection Cups are much more forgiving than the momcozy&rsquo;s when it comes to re assembly. I had multiple messes with the momcozy&rsquo;s from not putting the pieces on perfectly right. I did not get any issues with the Medela Hands-free Collection Cups. I really appreciated how you did not need to remove the o-ring attachment at every cleaning session. There are in total only 3 pieces to clean which is amazing compared to my momcozy&rsquo;s that has 5 pieces. I also loved how the Medela cups fit perfectly in my Advent microwave sterilizer and the plastic did not get affected by the heat of the microwave. I do have to mention that I wish Medela had smaller flange sizes. With my Momcozy&rsquo;s I was able to purchase size 17mm flanges however, Medela flanges only start at 21mm. Flange sizes are so important. I unfortunately was unable to always resort to the Medela collection cups because the large flange sizes would bruise my areola&rsquo;s but for on the go discreet pumping a few (1-2) times a day these were fantastic! What I like about the product: - Easy enough to clean and put together - Great to have in your purse if you are out and about and need to pump. During the summer our family does longer drives up to cottage country. The collection cups were great to use in the car to get some relief. What I dislike about the product: - the collection cups are quite large and won&rsquo;t fit into all of my bras. You need to pre plan which bra you are going to wear if you plan on using it. - I didn&rsquo;t find the collection cups as effective as the pump&rsquo;s original parts. I found that I wouldn&rsquo;t use the cups at home since every time I pump I want to get the maximum amount of milk possible. Wow, what an improvement they have made with this new design! Super easy and effective to use as I have found with all Medela products but very discreet at the same time, which is a huge improvement for me from the Freestyle Flex attachments. The cups fit well in my nursing bra, I barely notice I&rsquo;m pumping and it gives me much more freedom as the cups are flush to my skin. It comes with both size 21 and 24 flanges to ensure the user is getting the best suction based on their needs. I was also surprised with how much milk each cup held, 5oz each! It&rsquo;s very easy to clean, there&rsquo;s only 3 parts you need to clean and you don&rsquo;t need to remove the O-ring each time which saves time. The only downfall of the collection cups is if you try to pick something off the floor (I like to clean up while pumping) you have to be careful that is doesn&rsquo;t leak out.
