I was pleasantly surprised with how well the Medela tank fit. It was easy to unclip and reattach the clips for nursing, even in a dark nursery. I would gladly recommend the tank to any new mother. I cannot comment on how the tank fit during pregnancy as I received it after giving birth. But it is extremely stretch and works with jeans, pants and skirts. I wore the tank as either a layering piece under t-shirts or cardigans and a few times as sleep wear. I don't find it supportive enough to wear outside of the house, but it's great at home and definitely for sleeping. The fabric is awesome for swollen chests and sore nipples. My favorite to-wear-at-home nursing tank right now. To be more longwinded, I've tried a lot of different maternity/nursing bras and tank tops, and I've donated and given away a lot too because I wasn't happy with them. I can't stand when I have to go too many up band sizes in order to have enough room in the cup area. I don't want to be able to pull out the band a huge distance from my rib cages. This Medela tank is made out of some sort of magical fabric that is snug enough without binding, and I have enough room in the cups as well. I did get this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel, but if I had known about this tank earlier on (I'm breastfeeding baby #2 right now), I would have only purchased these and skipped all the other ones I tried. I pretty much do laundry everyday, but I still own 5 nursing tanks to account for leaking and the joy of messes, and those are just for wearing around the house. This tank is my first pick whenever it's clean, and it was the cheapest of all the nursing tanks I own. On the subject of the fabric, it's primarily cotton, which I love for its breathability. I'm so hot when I'm pregnant and breastfeeding that I can't stand the cheap 100% synthetic nursing tanks that other people seem to like. At the same time, Medela has made the fabric silky and smooth, so it doesn't create unnecessary friction against your bleeding nipples or irritate your skin when everything is stretching and itchy and unhappy. It surprised me to read other reviews and see that some people had problems with the clips. These are actually my favorite clips, maybe because they feel sturdy and secure and are able to help support the weight of my chest. I have no problems clipping and unclipping them with one hand, half-asleep even. I'm far enough postpartum that the tank is loose around my midsection, which is actually a fit I prefer. My stomach is by no means flat, and I think the looseness is flattering. I imagine that, while pregnant and immediately after birth, the design of this tank would allow it to give some support and to provide a little bit of slimming. As a second-time mom, I've tried several different nursing tanks, and this one is in my top two. I also appreciate the longer length of this tank, as I am on the taller side (5'10&quot;) and have found that other tanks either ride up or shrink after the first wash. And the black color and materials seem to have a slimming effect, which is definitely appreciated in the post-partum days. I wouldn't wear this tank on its own--it's a bit too low-cut for modest me and it doesn't have any padding. But it's great for layering and I love wearing it around the house on its own or under a cardigan. I also like that I can unclip and reattach the clips for nursing with one hand, but yet it doesn't feel like the clips will suddenly pop open if I move a certain way (which has happened with other tanks I've tried). My only complaint is that the straps are made of typical bra-strap material. I wish they were a bit wider for more support and perhaps made of a different fabric. The other thing I'll note is that the sizing chart on the box indicates that I should wear a medium, but I received a large to test out and I thought it fit me quite well. Perhaps it's because I am on the taller and leaner side and prefer that my tops fit a bit looser. All in all, this is a great nursing tank that I would recommend to other new moms. There are two things I wish were different about this tank: the clips and layering under clothes. The clips were difficult for me to unclip in order to nurse and I had to use both hands and apply some force. All of my nursing bras can be easily unclipped with one hand which is very helpful. Also, the tank is thicker and at least in the summer heat (I live in the South) was not feasible to wear under clothes. It also looked more like an undergarment than a traditional tank top and is low-cut so I would not feel comfortable throwing on a cardigan over it. I found the size chart helpful and it to be true to size. The box claims the tank has a &quot;tummy slimming&quot; effect. It is very comfortable and makes nursing and pumping so much more comfortable and convenient. I would say that Medela Tanks are a staple in my postpartum wardrobe. I own several varieties. This particular cami tank has a built in shelf bra, which fits comfortably around my chest and is supportive enough to hold my nursing pads in place. There is no padding making it easy to wash and wear on a daily basis. Typically, I wear them to sleep, layer them under shirts, and just lounge in them around the house. The black cotton, nylon, spandex blend is thick and durable, while also feeling smooth and comfortable. It also cleans up easy when accidents like spit up or leaks happen! If I am lucky enough to be able to sleep, this tank is perfect for night feeding and for wearing to bed. During the day, I pair it with a cardigan or loose shirt and nursing on the go is easy and discreet! Pulling the top layer aside or up is all I need to do to breastfeed or pump without exposing myself! Another bonus is that the form fitting tank is helping me to transition back into my original wardrobe by smoothing my belly. The tank has clips built into the straps to allow mothers to lower the shirt and breastfeed their child or pump. The clips are excellent quality and are sturdy enough to stay in place all day and easy enough to unhook with one hand as advertised. The tank comes in three sizes. Given that the fabric is so stretchy, I would suggest sizing down if you are between sizes. I've tried lots of bras and tops, but this one is a favorite by far. It's a smooth fabric with great coverage at an ideal length for wearing either on it's own or layering with other tops, and has a pretty, slightly V-shaped neckline with a scalloped bottom. The clips are easy to use, even with one hand, and do not irritate my shoulders. It can be worn day or night, with or without other tops. In addition, it has held up well after being washed countless times. Many cheaper nursing pieces pill or fall apart over time, but this one has not shown it's wear one bit. Though I was not pregnant while wearing it, I can tell it would be a great option during that phase as well, making it a very versatile wardrobe pick! I like nursing tanks without any pads, so this one was great for me. It doesn't give you complete coverage (I have the white one), so I always wear a shirt over it in public. My bra size fluctuates around a 34C/D and the size S/M fits me comfortably. The fabric is very soft and comfortable. I have washed this tank over 10 times and have not seen any wear on the fabric. I have had other nursing tanks that seem to pill a lot, but the fabric on this one looks like it should remain smooth. I really like the scalloped bottom on this nursing tank. It usually sticks out at the bottom when I wear a shirt over it and I think it looks really nice. I also like the slight v-neck on the neck line. The clips on the tank are very easy to clip and un-clip and the straps are very comfortable, with no rubbing or irritation on my shoulders. I will definitely continue wearing this tank after I am done nursing. I don't plan to wear it if I get pregnant again, as I think it would stretch too much in the stomach for me to wear after having the baby. First off, I just wanted to applaud Medela for being so true to sizing! Sometimes the sizing charts on the back of the product are way off but this chart was very accurate. It fit so nicely, I never felt confined. The material is breathable and has plenty of give. Sometimes with other brands it was a bit of a struggle reattaching the clips but I could do it with ease. It was so comfortable, I could easily layer it without feeling too hot. I like the length as well, nice and long, it never crept up. I could easily wear this to bed for easy access throughout night feedings. Sometimes milk would spill onto it and I noticed that it would quickly wick off which was nice, avoiding a majorly damp situation. Another great quality is that the material isn't sheer, it gives great coverage in that being it isn't see-through. The material feels high quality and it super soft. In comparison with other maternity tanks, I prefer this one by Medela. Seems as though an actual breastfeeding mom customized it to make it a great product! I highly recommend buying a couple so you always have a spare on hand! Oh and it also doesn't lose its softness after many washes. I found the sizing to be very forgiving, and I can definitely wear this as a maternity tank when I get pregnant again! I mostly wear this tank layered under another shirt, and I really like how long it is. I feel like I have good coverage when I lift my shirt to nurse. I really don&rsquo;t like tanks that ride up and leave my stomach exposed - I never had that problem with this Medela tank! Around the house I wear this tank on its own, and it covers enough that I can answer the door without being embarrassed or feeling like I needed to put another shirt on. The clips for nursing access are really easy to use. I&rsquo;m able to undo the clip with one hand, which is really helpful when I&rsquo;m holding the baby and can put her down to open my shirt.
