<span itemprop="description">I got this pump at my baby shower and recently tried using it. not only was there basically no power to it but the cord began to heat up and almost cause a fire. the cord frayed and the wires were showing all while my son laid 4 feet away. This was not only frightening but disturbing that the pieces issued by this company weren’t thoroughly checked for wear and tear.</span>

I bought an Evenflo Pump when I first had my son and while it does it’s job I wanted something that could express my milk faster. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about the Medela so I thought I’d give it a shot. Horrible. Extremely disappointed. It takes FOREVER to get my milk to let down. It takes about 5 minutes before I see my first drop and about 20 minutes just to get an ounce. With my evenflo I can get 3 ounces in 30 minutes or less. So so so sad about this</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a good pump. Keep in mind though, the only product here that the pump is removable from the bag is the Metro bag. With the other two, they are *very* firmly velcroed into place, and are not designed to be removed. The pump it's self does not have a housing and must be stored in the bag. The little bag that comes with the Metro tote is not available for purchase separately.
If the pump had a complete housing, or if you could purchase the small bag separately I would give this 5 stars. Having to keep it in the gigantic tote bag is very inconvenient for home.</span>

The pump itself has been great thus far and having the metro bag, the extra bottles, cooler, ice pack, etc. has been really useful as well. I can fit everything I need for pumping at work or when traveling in the bag, as well as my wallet, keys, and other personal items I might need so I don't have to carry a purse on top of the bag. The bag has a wide shoulder strap that makes carrying it easy and it looks like a regular large purse and not a breat pump bag. Overall very happy with my purchase and the extras were definitely worth it, as I use them all on a daily basis.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Our second son was delivered early due to sudden medical complications. Without my Medela pump, going back to work (16 hour shifts as restaurant G.M.) & the constant 2 1/2 hour drives from Salem to St. Louis Children's NICU would have made milk production impossible!!
Might I add, my Medela pump proved superior
in comfort & milk production against the ameda (hospital grade) pumps throughout Barnes Jewish Hospital & St. Louis Children's Hospital....Total win!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month or so before my daughter arrived. She's 3 weeks old and I pump for about 30 minutes and have been getting 4 to 5 ounces per pumping session which I try to do every 3 hours. The pump settings give you different speeds depending on what's comfortable for you. The bag is big enough to put other things in it like lanolin, wipes to clean up, and milk bags. I clean and sanitize the parts after every session to ensure cleanliness.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only been able to use it a few times...it’s definitely a necessity in my opinion. I seem to have clogged ducts often and if my little one doesn’t fully nurse in one side, I pump. The only reason I didn’t give it a perfect rating is because if I pump one side and have to stop up the other with the yellow thing, the side I’m pumping doesn’t seem to give it’s full strength because the yellow stopper is allowing air in/out on the other side. I have to hold it with my finger firmly so I can get all the air to concentrate on the side I’m pumping.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My insurance company sent me this pump, I was not aware we were able to choose. The pump does get the job done but after using the Spectra S2 I prefer that over the Medela. The S2 removes milk much better and it also keeps time so you don't have to remember what time you started pumping.</span>
