Pumping moms know that what matters most at the end of the day is getting as much milk as possible. If I HAVE to pump, then I want it to be as productive as possible. For that reason, I’ve avoided hands-free pumping options. To test the effectiveness of this pump, I alternated days with another traditional pump to compare output. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that I often got the same amount of milk. However there were some days that I got a full ounce less (I typically pump about 5-6 ounces in a nighttime session). What I decided is that it wasn’t properly centered sometimes. And while the collector is transparent, I still couldn’t really see well enough to adjust it easily. I LOVED the hands free option. I was able to relax much easier and I loved the battery pack which makes pumping in the car an option. It was also very discreet but a little loud.
Date published: 2023-08-28

Rated 3 out of 5 by CShel from Convenient for at home only [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an exclusively pumping mom of all almost 10 month old. Stellar review panel sent me the Medela Pump in Style hands free in return for an honest review of my experience using it. To begin with the pump is relatively easy to assemble, but you do have to make sure it clicks when you put it together or the suction is poor. The cups fit well into a nursing bra for me, but they are far from subtle, so even with the included battery pack to allow it to work unplugged from the wall (which requires extra batteries, which makes it harder to use on the go) I don’t know that I would use it out of the house. Additionally, I don’t know that the cups would fit well on larger breasted women. I’m relatively medium in that area and they fit OK for me. Suction was good once I had everything fully put together correctly and I did like how customizable that aspect of things was. There are 10 settings, and so I was able to find one that worked well for me. I noticed that I got about the same amount of milk that I did from other pumps that I’ve tried, but I also noted that the cup started to pull away slightly from my breast towards the end of the cycle, so someone who produces a lot of milk might find that it leaks. Overall the Medela pump in style hands-free is probably a good option for home use if you don’t produce a very large amount of milk for example that would require you to switch the 5 ounce collection cups midway. The battery pack does last a few uses but having to remember to bring extra AA batteries, makes it a little less convenient as a travel option if you’re not going to have Ready access to it while charging plug. In terms of pumps that fit entirely within your nursing bra, I think that this pump is really on the right track about a lot of things, but it needs some tweaks to make it really convenient for moms who are trying to get other things done while pumping.
Date published: 2023-08-28

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom23 from Great Pump for busy Moms [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela Pump in Style Hands-free is my new favorite pump. I have three girls ages five and under, my youngest is seven months. I have been breastfeeding and pumping for five years and about four months straight now. This pump makes multi tasking possible. If I am sneaking in an extra session during the day my hands are available to assist my children with anything they may need. I can make them a snack, clean up dirty hands, fold the laundry. I can also eat a snack myself, as you know busy moms tend to get busy. The hands-free collection cups are easy to assemble, and clean with only three parts. The cups hold five ounces in each cup, they pour into storage bags fairly easily. The cups are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They fit under both my nursing bra and gown so I didn’t have to buy any special clothing to use this pump. I love that true to the Medela brand the parts seem to be interchangeable which helps when you’re in a hurry and miss placed something. I love that this pump comes with a wall plug and a battery pack so you have the option to unplug from the wall and move about when pumping. The only thing I dislike is the controls are only plus and minus. It takes a bit to find the speed that works for you, and then trying to find that same speed on the next pump can be tricky. Maybe with continued use it will be easier to manipulate over time. All in this is a great pump and I love the hands-free cups. I recommend this to any mom looking for a pump to aid in their breastfeeding journey. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump for my honest review.
Date published: 2023-08-28

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tink85 from Handsfree Pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Medela Hands-free Pump. It was an interesting experience. Like the name suggests it is indeed hands-free. I was able to use both a breastfeeding bra and regular bra while using the pump. The instructions are pretty simple to follow. The collection cups are clear so you know that you're, breasts, sitting in them correctly. You can work on the computer or whatever you need to do without it getting in your way. Once done, the collection cups are disconnected from the tubes and sit perfectly on the table. There are slots at the top of the cups for easy pouring into bottles or storage bag if you need to. There are multiple speeds of suction, 10, for personalized flow. When you're in a hurry the hands-free pump is SUPER easy to clean. It also came with two plugs: one for batteries and the other for electricity. The cons and why I gave 4/5 stars is because while I do love this pump you still need to carry the breast pump machine until you sit somewhere. If you're using the battery operated mode you could hook it to your pants. So you still have extra equipment but it's lightweight.
Date published: 2023-08-28

Rated 4 out of 5 by MIG3 from Great for Multitasking Moms [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this breast pump that I was given to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel is that it is a quality pump that allows for multitasking. The collection cups fit easily into my nursing bra and are a breeze to empty into the freezer bags I use, and taking them apart to clean was also a simple process. The pump is small but powerful and is very efficient at removing milk. It is also simple to use and has just a few buttons to adjust the strength. I really appreciated how I could do tasks with my hands while pumping as this is not something I have previously been able to do. I was able to hold my fussy baby and also help my older children all while still pumping. I cannot give this pump five stars though because while it does work well, I would not call it a portable pump because the pump itself while not huge, is still too big to put in your pocket and can't be clipped to you so you would still have to hold it if you walk around. Also, although it does come with a battery pack that you can use instead of plugging it into an outlet, this is not very practical for moms hoping to never have to use the outlet as you would be changing out the batteries very often and the battery pack adds to the bulkiness of the pump. If the pump were somehow either smaller or had a clip and was able to be charged, it would be the perfect pump for moms on the go. Overall though, it is still a great option for moms tired of having to hold the bottles of pumps while they pump and could definitely encourage more pumping for those too tired to do it very often.
Date published: 2023-08-28

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pump from Decent [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I feel like there are better products on the market. I choose it over my hospital rated pump even. But it did take a bit for me to adjust to it. At first, I felt like I wanted to love this product but found that I really didn’t like it much. I hadn’t used a hands-free pump before and wasn’t sure really what to expect from it, but had high expectations. After a little bit more time using it, I came to really LOVE it for many reasons. I found myself pumping while cooking dinner, doing dishes, doing work, playing with my baby, taking care of my older 2 kids. I was no longer stuck holding the flanges to make sure I expressed as much milk as possible but now I could put the flanges on and use both hands to do something else. This has been new and exciting for me. I am incredibly thrilled with the milk expression I get from using this pump. It’s similar to my other hospital grade pump BUT I don’t have to hold the flanges in order to express the same amount of milk! My favorite feature about it is how fast you can start pumping. It’s super easy to assemble and all you have to do is pop it in your bra, attach the tubes, and hit start. BOOM. That’s all. No more switching to a pumping bra, then carefully placing the flanges, then attaching the tubes, then starting the pump all while holding the flanges to keep the milk expression efficient. Your bra does that for you. Not having to change your bra is super impactful. And having your hands be free is obviously a huge bonus. I do have some suggestions for new users- don’t be discouraged if you hate it at first. It’s an adjustment. When it comes to transferring your milk to a bottle or bag, you will get the hang of it quickly. It’s easy to simply use the holes at the top and pour the milk from there, this scared me the first few times but it worked perfectly. I do wish that the pump itself were smaller so you could just attach it to your clothes or put it in your pocket but I understand that this is the most popular pump and this pump isn’t small. I wish it came with like a fanny pack or something. Other than that, I love it! It’s now a must have of mine. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for choosing me for this pump! It’s been life changing, I am blessed.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kmills from Pump in style and in love [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pump as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am historically an “almost-enough-er” and was hoping that this pump would be at least equivalent in milk removal efficiency to others I tried. To my pleasant surprise, it was very effective at removing milk, with the added bonus of being hands free! Pumping can be so difficult for me with both a 3 month old and a 2 year old at home. This is my honest review as a mom of two who has used a variety of pumps from hand pumps to tubeless wearable pumps. I was excited when I first opened this product. Pumps that go in your bra are so convenient, especially when a toddler is around! You can easily stick it in your regular bra and the tubes can be hidden and out of the way under your shirt. The bottles are quite large so it is definitely noticeable that you are pumping. It is as loud as other hospital grade pumps I’ve used so you can hear it too. Although more convenient than having bottles hanging from a pumping bra, it is definitely not discrete. As an experienced pumper, the first time I used this pump I was surprised to have milk leaking on me. The way that the bottles close horizontally makes this very easy to happen. They have to be clicked together perfectly to not leak from the bottom. I was disappointed in the battery system of this pump. It has to be plugged in to either the wall or the battery pack. The pump itself is not chargeable. With all of the chargeable and wearable pumps on the market, this is a huge downfall to me. So this is a fine wearable pump but it is not the most convenient on-the-go pump.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 4 out of 5 by MedelaHandsFreePump from Nice Hands Free Pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump. The best feature about this pump is that it is hands-free! I was able to pump and carry my child around, meal prep, and even pump in the car on a road trip with the battery pack. This pump was easy to assemble and easy to clean with only three pieces. The pump has a strong enough suction that I was able to use it on a daily bases without affecting my milk supply. The major issue I found with the pump is that it does not have an indicator of how long you have been pumping. The pump does automatically switch to the Expression phase after one minute. It is easy to loose track of time when multitasking and I would often forget how long I was pumping for. The motor is loud and this can be a distraction for those women wanting to pump at their desk at work or in the middle of the night. The motor has a nice carry-loop feature but can be heavy to carry/hold after awhile. Overall, this is a nice hands-free pump with a strong suction.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 4 out of 5 by Suzanne from Easy Setup and Use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great pump option for anyone who likes to pump while sitting at a desk or on the couch. Although small, the pump body is quite heavy, so this would not be an ideal pump for moving around with. It does come with a separate battery pack, so if you wanted to use it while driving or traveling that would be an option. Setup for the pump and cups was extremely quick and simple, since there are very few parts. The cups have pros and cons. I loved that each cup only consisted of 3 parts, so it is very easy to clean and dry. I didn’t love how large the cups were. I tend to only produce about 3oz per side when I pump, so a very large cup is just uncomfortable and not discrete for me personally. I would love if there was a thinner cup option for those who would prefer it. They do provide two different flange sizes with the pump, so there was no need to buy extra parts like with some other brands. The only other thing I would change about this pump, is that there is no screen to show the time or levels at which you are pumping. I have become very accustomed to having that, so it took a little getting used too and I felt like it was just a guessing game of picking a level each time. Overall, I think the compact size, suction, and minimal parts make this a great pump for someone who needs to be hands free while sitting and pumping. First off, there’s no screen or anything to show you how long you’ve been pumping or what speed or suction you’re pumping at. I thought maybe I could use the Medela app to track these things but this pump doesn’t seem to have bluetooth so things could only be entered manually into the app, which is a pain. Second, the instructions for assembling the cups were too basic & too tiny, I had trouble understanding exactly how to get the o ring removed/reattached or how exactly to put the cups together at all, to be honest. There were QR codes that had videos to show you but even in the videos there’s were skipped or glossed over. This is my 4th breast pump so I troubleshooted until I finally got suction. Third, yes this technically comes with the ability to pump remotely via a battery pack but kee in mind that battery pack is just something that requires 8 AA batteries to function. I didn’t actually try the pump using this method, but I am sure this would end up taking a lot of batteries over time if this were to be your sole pump while out of the house. This is definitely not ideal the ideal pump for a mom who works away from a wall outlet. The only thing I did like was how the cups are see through all the way around so you can see your output well without having to stop pumping & remove the cup. Yes it is a hands free pump so that is a plus, but still being plugged into a wall made doing some chores too difficult. And it didn’t seem to help my output simply because it was a plug-in pump versus a cordless pump. I plan on switching back to my previous pump & I probably wouldn’t recommend this pump to someone unless it was their only hands free option Fully covered by insurance.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChaiL from Great hands free pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a different hands-free pump when I received this one as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall I am very impressed with this pump! I have used it for close to two weeks now and much prefer it to my old one. I have a busy schedule and find a pump that I have to sit down to use quite constraining. This pump is hands-free, but also lightweight, so it isn't uncomfortable to leave on while walking around, sitting at a desk, or doing household chores. It is also very easy to clean and doesn't have many parts. It can fit comfortably into my bra, and the cups are shaped in a way that they don't dig in or cause discomfort while the vacuum pressure is on. It is also much quieter than other similar breast pumps that I have come across. I think it's important to mention, however, that the hands-free pumps are not quite as good at removing all your milk as the ones that require a plugged-in sit-down. While this may may be a deal-breaker for some, I think it's a reasonable trade-off for the freedom of being able to walk around and go about my day while pumping at the same time.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 4 out of 5 by decentmelody from Overall Great Pump But Not Quite Hands Free [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was excited to try a hands-free pump from Medela! My first pump was a Pump In Style back in 2013, and these pumps have definitely gotten even better since then. It's not without its flaws, but it's a great pump. We'll start with the positives! I love that the battery pack is AA batteries because if your pump runs out of batteries, you don't have to wait for it to recharge, you can just swap the batteries out and get to pumping. For the most part, this pump is hands free, but it would be amazing with a belt bag to carry around the motor and the battery pack. There is an option for plugging into the wall if you're completely out of batteries or don't need to be mobile while pumping. The suction was good, and the cups fit into my bra really well. I actually pumped discretely while hosting my son's birthday party with a loose-fitting shirt on. I had a little trouble assembling the cups, but I did like that there weren't too many different parts for assembly and cleaning. I do wish there was an indicator on the pump to see how high/low the suction was; however, I LOVED that there is a let-down mode that automatically switches into the regular pump mode because I often forget with my other pump to switch from let down to regular mode. Overall, this pump is a great option. The downsides to this pump are it's not quite hands free and there are a lot of parts to keep connected while pumping. However, I did get two ounces on each side in about 15 minutes of pumping, and it was comfortable to use.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 4 out of 5 by WDMB921 from Great product [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this hands free breast pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have had 5 different breast pumps, 3 being hands free. This BP is by far the lightest and most efficient in my milk supply output! I’m not sure what makes it increase my milk supply, but it did! Also, I wore this BP with friends in my home and they didn’t even know I was wearing it. The cups are not bulky and the machine is not noisy/loud. I'll start by saying I love it. The pump I used before required a pumping bra in order to make it hands-free, and the Medela Pump In Style does not. The cups just sit right inside your regular bra! You can use the pump either corded (plugged into a wall) or cordless with the included battery pack, which requires four AA batteries. The pumps are very comfortable, so I was actually able to work some on my PC while pumping. There are only three parts per pump, so cleaning afterwards is a breeze! My favorite part of the whole thing is that the pump is totally portable. You can stash it into a diaper bag or large purse for trips and the battery pack even allows you to comfortably and discreetly pump in your car if needed. One last thing that I'd like to mention is that using this pump did in fact increase my milk production - not significantly so, but around an ounce per pump. I'm sure this is something that will vary by user but I wanted to point that out because the pump is advertised as being able to increase production. Overall, this is a very comfortable, practical, amazing little pump that I would recommend to any and every breastfeeding/exclusively pumping mother.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 3 out of 5 by Erica from Overall good pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Medela Pump In Style Hands-free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Automatically, when I saw “hands-free”, I thought that I would be able to roam the house and get things done while pumping. I was disappointed to see that, though a battery pack is an option, I still had to carry the decent sized pump around with me. So, for me, multitasking was not a thing. The only advantage of this pump was that I didn’t have to use a pumping bra, and could just slide the collection cup into whatever bra I happened to be wearing. I did feel like the pump had good suction, and I liked that it was see through and I could determine when I was done based on my flow. My supply neither increased or decreased while using this pump, which was perfectly fine with me. It was also fairly easy to clean and assemble. Overall, I feel like this is a good pump and I will continue to use it. It just does not fit my description of hands free.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 3 out of 5 by ElvenBEE from I really wanted to love this [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited by the concept, but this was a miss for me. I loved the shaping and simplicity of the pumping "cups"; they were so easy to use and clean. It was also helpful to pump one side while breastfeeding on the other (without needing a hand to hold it in place). However, for whatever reason, it simply failed to get more than about a teaspoon of milk each time I used it. I'm not sure if this has to do with the size or not; the pump comes with 21mm and 24mm, while I usually use a 28mm flange. I also found the pump suction feeling to be rather odd. I never felt like it was actually suctioning the nipple, though I made sure that it was fully sealed/suctioned in place. So, ultimately, I wanted this pump to work but found it didn't perform for me. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review, as a member of the Stellar product testing panel.
Date published: 2023-08-27

Rated 3 out of 5 by Aubrey from Gets the job done [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I received this pump as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. However after using the product I was a little disappointed. I will say the pump is very easy to set up for use and clean which I really like. There are only a few pieces to the pump so very easy to take apart and clean. I also really like the battery pack it comes with so I don’t have to be plugged into the wall the whole time. But what I didn’t like about it was that there was no display to be able to tell the vacuum/suction settings I was on and how long I was pumping for. They claim it is hands free but it really isn’t because you have to hold the actual pump, just not the flanges while pumping. I guess you could put it in a pocket or something if it was big enough. Also the cups didn’t really work for my nipples. I felt like my nipples weren’t getting sucked into the cups enough to fully get the milk out. I don’t think it had to do with flange size, more of the shape of the cup. When dumping out the milk into a bag or cup, you have to be careful because it might come out of the center too if there’s still milk sitting in there. I will use this pump as my on the go pump since it is more compact and it gets the job done, just not going to use it as an every day pump. Overall though decent pump, just not my favorite.
Date published: 2023-08-26

Rated 5 out of 5 by TADH from Busy Mom Approved [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the mother of an infant and an extremely busy toddler, the Hands Free Medela Pump made my days easier and that freezer stash so much larger. They are also very lightweight and easy to wear as well as clean. I like that they are only 3 parts! I love that I can put these in my bra and hook up the pump pretty easily. I like that this pump has the option to be plugged in and can also be run on batteries. I am not a fan of 1 tube coming from the pump and separating into 2 tubes and connecting to the cups. I feel like the suction/vacuum power was not as powerful as it would have been if there were 2 separate tubes coming from the pump. I wish the cups were a little easier to see into so I could know when I was done pumping. The fog up very easily and have a most frosted appearance. I did notice a difference in pumping and the amount that I get while using this pump. Please change the design to be 2 separate tubes. Overall, I do like this pump and use it a couple times per week. It’s a bit bulky, so not as “portable” as I’d hope it to be. Instead of a rechargeable battery, it has a plug in battery pack that takes AA batteries. You can also use it plugged into an outlet. My favorite part of this pump was that the collection cups stand up on their own and they stay put! I worried a lot less about spilling than with other collection cups/bottles. I also really like that it came with 2 size options for flanges so I could make sure I got a comfortable and functional fit. I didn’t love how loud this pump is. It makes a ton of noise. I tried putting it on top of a cushy jacket to dull it, but it was still pretty loud even then. At work, my pump space is private, but has thin walls. So I felt a bit self conscious of the noise. I definitely could not have gotten away with using it during a remote meeting due to the sound. I did get the same amount of milk that I do with a regular (not handsfree/portable) pump so that was a plus! I know milk removal can be a concern with hands free pumps. I do think I could maintain my supply well using this pump alone. The hands free aspect is really helpful. I was able to use it driving to work to cut down on my pump time at work. While it was a bit bulky in the car, it stayed put and didn’t spill on my commute! I also like that I can use it without lifting up my shirt and changing bras or wearing a pumping bra. I felt more comfortable being less exposed because of the cups fitting in my bra. All in all, this pump remains in my rotation! I don’t use it every time due to the noise, but I do like the convenience of the hands free style as well as the stability of the collection cups (no spilled milk!)
Date published: 2023-08-26

Rated 4 out of 5 by BlakelysMom from Great Pump on the Go [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela Pump In Style Hands Free pump is a fantastic addition for this exclusive pumper! I love how comfortable the cups fit and how easy it is to just stick them in my bra and continue on with what I was doing. The pump has multiple settings and strengths, which is great as well! I particularly like that it gives me the option to pump while multitasking or stay hooked up to the wall and pump sitting down as well. I cannot emphasize enough how comfortable this pump is. Additionally, it has minimal parts to clean!! I didn’t see any positive or negative impact in my supply as I pumped the same as I usually do. The only reason I gave this pump 4 stars instead of 5 is because there isn’t a screen on the pump to show what setting you are on or how long you have been pumping. Otherwise, I highly recommend using this pump! Unfortunately this was not the case for me. To start the cups are not bad, but they’re also not great. I like that none of the pieces are small and easy to misplace or forget to put on. The spout was easy to empty almost all the expressed milk, but this was also a major con for me as I went to pick up my crying baby from the pack and play while pumping with less than 2 ounce of milk on each side thinking it shouldn't be a problem, but milk spilled everywhere. To be fair I may have been expecting too much as a similar cup I own only spills if you forget to close the lid or you don't realize you overfilled it (which came out to 7 ounces). The shape is also not very discreet unless you’re wearing a baggy shirt. Although with this pump you’re not exactly going to be discreet anyways as it's loud and just a lot to carry around. I’m honestly a little confused about how the pump in style design is so popular as it has so many inconvenient features. This pump is rather large for carrying around the house while taking care of a baby and toddler. It has an odd ribbon loop attached for carrying only. Then if you want to not be attached to the wall you need to use 8AA batteries and then plug that battery pack into the side of the pump to carry around too. If it had come with a special bag for holding all of this it may not have bothered me as much. I tried some bags I had around the house and they were uncomfortable to wear across the body between the overly protruding cups so the only suitable option was wearing it over one shoulder where it would then swing all over if you needed to pick something up which is highly likely to happen with 1 baby let alone more kids and any tasks you're trying to do around the house which is likely why you would want wearable cups instead of just a hands free bra. Maybe a large fanny pack would work ok? As a part time working mom who drives all over the state to see clients I love the idea of a pump that can be portable and also plug into the wall, I just think it could be done much better. The first time I used the battery pack I completely forgot to keep track of how many sessions I was able to use one set of batteries for (I think it was 4, but can’t really remember) so after swapping in some new batteries I started to count except somehow after only one session it wouldn’t turn on again with the brand new batteries which just added to my disappointment. If I had been using this while working I may not have had time or an option to get batteries during my work day. Other disappointments include no timer or visible suction level either on the device or through an app, painful vacuum that expressed less than my other hands free pump despite being the same flange size and needing to use this one until it timed out. Personally I think every pump has its own pros and cons and there is not a perfect one out there so you have to weigh out what you personally need and what you’re willing to deal with. For me this has way too many cons, I do plan to use as a back up if I don’t have time to wash or charge other parts and need to be away from the wall, but would not particularly recommend especially as a primary pump as I think it would cause my supply to dip.
Date published: 2023-08-26

Rated 5 out of 5 by TexasMomof3 from Gentle Compact and Overall Lovely Pump [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Medela Pump in Style Hands-free is a cut above its predecessor and my new favorite pump. I had the regular Medela which resembles a large black purse and was slightly annoyed with how much space it took up and how even the bigger cups hurt my nipples. This Hands-free pump is so lightweight and gentle that I keep checking to see if it's doing anything and then I'm amazed to see I've already collected a full container of milk! I absolutely LOVE the battery pack because it means I can sit in whatever chair I want and not worry about how close I am to an outlet or whether the cord is going to trip one of my older children. The hands-free feature is great because I can eat, drink, read an e-book, and do stuff with my older kids while pumping. It also doesn't take very long at all, so I think these collection cups are much more efficient somehow. I really wish I had had this pump with my previous babies. Definitely the nicest pump I've ever used. The only thing I can consider a negative is that it is hard to get the bottom tab to align properly with the hole when pushing the two cup parts together. It still clicks into place and does not leak, so I've given up on perfect alignment and accepted that it works fine if I just blindly snap it together. But my inner persnickety old lady wants them to line up properly. Oh well. I didn't think the 24mm cups would fit my 40DD breasts, but they are so comfortable and gentle that they seem to fit just fine, probably because the machine isn't sucking a significant portion of the nipple down a long plastic tube. This suction is much more like what you experience with an actual baby.
