I have tried using washable bamboo nursing pads (which were highly recommended by a friend), as well as disposable nursing pads from a popular brand friends had used previously. I decided I wasn&rsquo;t a fan of the washable pads because they felt uncomfortable and dried to my skin once they got wet unlike the disposables. I didn&rsquo;t bother trying more than one brand onf disposable pads, assuming there wasn&rsquo;t any real difference. However, I was recently given the opportunity to try Medela&rsquo;s safe and dry ultra thin disposable nursing pads for free through the weespring parent panel. I have since switched over to exclusively using the Medela brand because I really appreciated the differences between these and the other brand I had used previously. Firstly, I never have needed anything more than light absorbtion, so I like that these are very thin as well as smaller in overall size. They are more discreet under clothing, (especially if you are wearing thin nursing tanks rather than nursing bras). These also seem to stay flat rather than getting bumpy and wadded up in the places they&rsquo;ve absorbed milk. The other convenient difference I noticed is that there is only one long sticky strip rather than two. It&rsquo;s a small change but makes a big difference when you are trying to unwrap and place nursing pads with one hand while holding a baby. As a mother of two girls, I breastfeed my 2.5 year old for almost a year and am hoping to breastfeed my 6 month old for another 6 months, I have gone through a lot of breastpads! I have always trusted the Medela brand products and have recently discovered thier breastpads. I really like them! They&rsquo;re super discreet, you couldn&rsquo;t tell I was wearing them even with a tighter shirt on. They&rsquo;re very sticky on the back so they don&rsquo;t slide around in my bra which is nice. I really love these pads. I will definitely be buying a big box of them! I did receive these nursing pads from the weeSpring Parent Panel, but that had no effect on my review. I liked these pads better than some others, but not as much as my normal brand. These pads were thinner than other pads and don't feel irritating or scratchy the way some others tend to. I don't particularly like the shape, I prefer a round pad, which I find helps more at night with more coverage. I can&rsquo;t believe I am currently breastfeeding my third child and never used these Medela nursing pads before. Boy have I missed out! I love how absorbent these were while still being thin, comfortable, and discreet under my clothes. I have a heavy flow and these pads were definitely up to the task and prevented embarrassing leaks! I wore these throughout the day and at night and they were able to hold up during both times. The tape kept them secure to my bra and didn&rsquo;t come lose or pop out so no one knew I was wearing them. Would definitely recommend these for all the breastfeeding mamas! My daughter is four months old so my supply is regulated but I still leak when she nurses so I keep a nursing pad on at all times and with this pad I never had issues with it moving out of place unlike some others I have tried. They also have a natural curve in them so you don&rsquo;t notice them through your bra or shirt. They are extremely soft on my sensitive skin so I never had an issue wearing them throughout the day. I don&rsquo;t find myself thinking about them through the day and they were not noticeable through my nursing bra and shirt. Even when they became slightly damp, I didn&rsquo;t notice because the milk was absorbed quickly. I like the fact that there is only one adhesive strip instead of two because it seemed quicker in the morning when I am getting ready and less wasteful. My only complaint is that some of the adhesive stays in my bra when I remove the nursing pads, but it is gone after washing the bra. I was impressed by how much milk they held for being so thin. I didn&rsquo;t have a single leak and I have a heavy letdown. I use these both during the day and at night. They are completely invisible in bras with molded cups. In wireless bras you can&rsquo;t see the outline but you can see a crease from the way they are folded in the package. I just smooth this out before inserting, problem solved. One thing I appreciated about these compared to other brands is that the adhesive backing is in 1 piece as opposed to 2. Less trash on my bathroom floor! The adhesive is actually very strong and keeps the pads held in place well, even when folding down bra cups for nursing. My only qualm is that the adhesive left some sticky residue in my bra. Not an issue for me since I use these in nursing bras that I will always wear pads in.
