First of all, I love that it doesn't take up a lot of space, it is lightweight, easy to store (folds up flat) and store or relocate. A swing like this is essential during those first few months with your newborn baby. You can keep baby close to you while freeing your hands for a bit, and it helps them to rest so peacefully. The swing has 5 levels of swinging speed to choose from. It also comes with built in white noise and other soothing sounds, but you can also play your own music of choice via the Bluetooth. This style swing is comparable to some of the more expensive brands, but with a price tag that is a fraction of the cost. I agree with many that this is great quality and very affordable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">First impression before using this item or learning what it doesn’t I wouldn’t have purchased this item. However after using it, it has some really nice features, and my baby really likes it.
Pros: it’s very easy to assemble, just two pieces that click together. It’s very light weight and easy to move around if you want to transport it. My baby looks very comfortable in it I’m almost jealous lol. The first time I used it my baby had a diaper blow out and it was very easy to take the cushion off, threw it in the wash and it cleaned right up. Has a remote which is super convenient. But the best part is it has Bluetooth so you can connect it to your phone and play any music in your phone from the swing.
Cons: the only thing I struggled with was adjusting the seat straps. They are very different to tighten and loosen.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We love this swing! It is beautiful, lightweight, and takes less than a minute to put together. It disassembles to be a few inches tall for storage so it’s easy to tuck away when you’re not using it, although we don’t really do that because this is definitely an everyday item at our house. At first I didn’t think we’d really even need a swing but I am so grateful to have this comfy, soothing spot for my baby to relax. There are 5 gentle side to side swaying settings and it is silent when it’s moving. The speaker plays several different sounds and has Bluetooth so you can play whatever music or sound you want. It sits pretty low to the ground and the controls are at the bottom, but it comes with a remote so you don’t have to sit on the ground to control it. The fabric is soft and washable. I would highly recommend this swing for your new baby.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This swing offers is easy to use, easy to store and has a great design. I have five different swings/gliders, this one is the household favorite.
I love that it is so lightweight and easy to take apart when I need to take it with me. I don't have to worry about keeping track of a ton of pieces and it is just as easy to reassemble when I get to my destination.
The sounds that it comes with are great quality and easy to switch between, I love that it offers a few classical music options. On top of that, if none of the sounds are working to help settle my little one, I can easily use the Bluetooth function to play other sounds/music from my phone.
After reading the other reviews, I was concerned that the motion/speed may not be the right fit for my little one, but I was wrong. The swaying motion seems to be the most similar to the motion I make and the speeds available are the perfect assortment.</span>

My colleague received a completely random high chair instead, but it had the label and order number indicating this swing. Being 8 months into pregnancy, she had to send her husband and pick up the correct item from the store. My colleague is happy to receive the correct item, but this is not at all how a gift should be received!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have used a few different swings and rockers and this one definitely has it all! My baby sits in it contently while awake, falls asleep on his own and will lounge in it for long periods of time. So nice being able to put him in a safe place and be hands free. It also folds up so easily making it great for travel. Love the design and look!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have different swings and chairs, but our newborn baby LOVES the Munchkin swing. It's got a gentle sway and she spends her awake time after nursing/changing hanging out in here. It gives us some hands free time and usually rocks her to sleep (she starts yawning within minutes) and it makes transitioning into her bassinet while sleepy so easy!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We've been using this swing now for just over a month and our 3 month old loves it! Its super easy to set up and take down which we appreciated and the overall aesthetic is nice and sleek. What my husband and I loved most was we could play our daughters lullabies using the bluetooth. The swing soothes are little one so well!
Overall we are super thrilled with this product and would highly recommend it!</span>

Good afternoon Zara, the Munchkin Bluetooth Enabled Baby Swing is not battery operated. The unit does include an AC Adapter and USB power source in order for the baby Swing to function properly.
