My son was supported and comfortable in the seat, he loved it and I was comfortable with him in it. The seat felt secure without a doubt. As a parent, I enjoyed the security it gave me, knowing that he was supported and comfortable and I could still bathe him thoroughly and let him enjoy some splashing too. I'm not sure how my son would've done when he was 5-months, which is the minimum age recommended, but I think if your infant can sit comfortably in a bumbo (which I would compare this seat to size-wise), then he or she should be able to use this bath seat. This also eased my concerns with switching from the infant tub to a full-size tub. I really appreciate how easy it is to install and felt very secure using it for our baths. I also love that it fits differently shaped tubs easily and required no assembly. Size-wise I'd I wish there was a hook or a loop to hang it up to dry or put away between uses. When we had a newborn tub, I was keen on it having a hook to hang it up on our shower rod to dry out and be out of the way between uses. It would be great if this had one too! It is super easy to install and secures tightly to the sides of my tub. My baby loves being able to sit upright, kick his legs, splash and reach for toys floating around all while being safely contained. He's such a slippery little guy! He just outgrew his baby bathtub, so this bath seat came JUST in time and we couldn't be happier! In addition to being so easy to install and remove from the tub, it is also very secure. He loves sitting up and splashing with his hands and feet. At nine months old, he's not ready to sit solo in the tub so being in this seat provides him with just enough semi independence to play and splash around. It takes a bit of maneuvering to get his legs and bottom clean, but it's the same as it would be if he was just sitting in a tub. The bath seat is super easy to clean and sanitize, too. Although an awkward shape, it's smaller than the baby bathtub we had so storing it is no problem. It was a little tricky to initially install because of the preciseness required to get the suction cups in just the right placement, but once you have that measured out it's a breeze. The seat is super sturdy so I don't have any fears he'll slip or tumble out. First things first. Installation of this seat was extremely easy. The instructions were clear and simple and I had everything installed in about a minute. I loved that the instructions are right on the seat too. I didn't have to worry about bringing a piece of paper in a wet bathroom and trying to keep it dry so I could read it. I just needed the seat itself! Removing the seat was also very easy so A+ for that! The seat felt very safe and my baby seemed comfortable in it. It was a good support for her and let her enjoy the "big" tub. That being said, I did find it hard to wash around where her legs were in the seat. It was great to have two hands to wash her down, but my husband especially had a hard time navigating around the seat. I think this would be a fantastic product for someone with two children, a big and a little. He loves the bath but after a while tries to stand up. I was worried he would be upset about being confined to the bath seat, but turns out he LOVES this seat! I can tell from looking at him that he feels safe and secure in the seat. What is helpful is that he can concentrate on playing with his toys instead of worrying about moving around in the tub when playing. He leans back in the tall seat, is all smiles, and doesn't try to get out of it or protest that he is stuck. I was a bit worried that it would be hard to set up since there was a link for viewing the setup instructions on my phone. But I found that installing the seat was a breeze! I put the seat into the tub, extended the rear arm (the only thing that was a bit harder for me - I had to push hard), and extended the suction cups on the sides. Removing it after I was done with the bath was just as easy. The rear arm was pretty stiff. I had to really shove it to get it to move to the proper position so that it didn't stick out into my son's back. I would suggest just a bit more room in the depth of the seat. That was really only the complaint I have - it is a bit tough for me to clean his privates - I have to do it quick out of the seat when the rest of the bath is done. I love this seat. I'm glad that I was given a chance to review it! I will use it as long as I can with my son and will recommend it to friends. When he is done with it, I will have to find a place to store it to hopefully use with another child if I am so blessed. It's a bit bulky but I really like it so it's something worth keeping around. We were attempting to transition my baby from the sink to the tub for baths, but every time we sat him in the tub, he would cry. The first time we used the bath seat, he smiled and splashed happily while I bathed him! It is very easy to install. We generally leave it in place, but it is no problem to take it in and out of the tub if a guest will be using that bathroom. My baby really seems to like it. He is well supported and I feel he is quite secure it in. I am no longer afraid he may slip and knock his head while I'm washing him. I especially like that I can lean him back while rinsing shampoo out of his hair and he has some support behind his back. My one complaint about this seat is the stationary bar that is across the legs. It makes it a bit challenging to get baby in and out of the seat. It also makes it impossible to clean the diaper area, so I still have to stand him up at the end to get the area from his lower abdomen to his thighs. I do not think they can do much about this, as it's part of what keeps babe safe. However, if they are looking for improvements, this would be my suggestion! It is not enough to keep me from using it. I feel way safer and my baby prefers to be bathed in his seat. It is very sturdy and easy to install (it fits to the size of your tub). Bath time was starting to become a challenge with my youngest. He is reaching milestones faster than his older brother. One of these milestones was pulling himself up and trying to reach over the side of the bathtub basin that I was using. His actions in the bath tub basin make me worry that he was going to fall out and hurt himself. Luckily, the Summer Infant My Bath Seat is most helpful at safely containing my little escapee. It also allows me to safely bathe both of my children at the same time. I could never do this with the basin, it was always two baths to accommodate each child. The installation process was very simple. The pamphlet enclosed with the seat was very clear and easy to understand. I also used the video prompt by texting the special code on the box. The visual demonstration was a great aid. I love how the steps are clearly written on each part of the seat as well. This was a third method I used to install the seat. After using all of these tools, I felt confident the seat was secure. I wish other products like car seats were this thorough! My son was well supported and comfortable. He enjoys bath time and is able to splash and play without missing a beat. I once borrowed a different brand bath seat for my son to use from a relative and he did not like that seat. He cried whenever I tried to put him in said borrowed seat. I think the My Bath Seat is very safe and secure. All of the suction and pressure arms keep the seat very secure in the tub. I do not have to worry about the seat detaching from the tub. This was an issue I encountered with the borrowed bath seat that prompted me to discontinue use of that seat. Overall, I feel that the pros of the My Bath Seat outweigh the cons. I love the 4-point secure suction; the rounded back of the seat and molded bottom for comfort; the neutral color scheme; the ease of installation with multiple resources; and how simple it is to lift baby in and out of the seat. The only cons of the seat that I found were that the back support arm can be a little difficult to collapse when removing. You need to apply a decent amount of pressure to collapse it. I pinched my finger the first time I took the seat out to clean my tub. However, you want a sturdy arm so it is not a con in the safety aspect. Also, it can be a lot of work taking the seat out and reinstalling when it comes time to clean your tub. These aren't deal breakers, just things that I noticed when using the seat. I have not bothered to shop for bath seats in the past, because I was never impressed with the safety of the ones I have seen. I prefer to bathe my babies in baby tubs and then move them to a clothes basket inside the big tub when I just could not use the baby tub anymore. I was given the Summer Infant My Bath Seat to try from the Wee Spring Parent Panel; many thanks to Wee Spring and Summer Infant. I opened the box, and I looked for directions. I didn't end up needing them, because directions are printed on the seat itself in very simple 1,2,3,4 steps. It was a little awkward the first time I set it up, but I never fully took it down after the first time, & it's super simple to reset that way. 1 extended arm to the back, some positioning in your tub, & some tightening, and you're done. If you tighten the sides well, they are very sturdy. The back arm made me nervous. There is a warning on the seat not to use if you do not have a standard shaped bathtub, & I think my back wall is tilted a bit too far. I couldn't get the back arm to feel consistently secure, but I stayed with my baby. The selling point for me- my baby loved it. She loved being able to sit up more freely and splash. I am only sad that we could not use it longer, but at 8 months, my baby tries to wiggle out- an indicator to discontinue use. All in all, great experience.
Date published: 2018-06-07

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kristen P from Nice, Safe Bath Seat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the idea of using a bath seat as a transition to moving my daughter into "the big tub." This little seat was a perfect solution. The seat definitely helps sitters to be contained in a large bath tub and would help babies who almost can sit on their own too to sit upright and supported in the tub. I liked the easy install - there are 3 large suction cups attached to "arms" which twist out from each side and the back of the seat. It seems like this seat would fit in any tub because you can basically customize the fit of each arm by screwing the arm out as much or as little as needed to that the suction cup is securely against the side of the tub. There are also indicators when the suction cup is secure and locked in place. The installation was super easy and straightforward. The only difficulty I had was with washing her bum and undersides since there is a bar (which needs to be there for safely keeping them in the sea) between the legs, so that part of bath time was a little tricky. This seat also stores well - it stands on its own and definitely takes up less space than an infant tub! I have already told my friends with almost sitters about this tub and wish I had it when my daughter has just started sitting. Would have made baths a little bit easier. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bath seat.
Date published: 2018-06-07

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ramika from Good Transition for Bath Time I was really very excited to see the Summer Infant My Bath Seat in action! Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bath seat to try and review! I have medical issues that makes giving my 9 month old daughter her baths a little difficult. I was hoping that this bath seat might help alleviate some of those problems for me and allow me to fully enjoy "bath time". We don't have an actual bath tub in our home (we have a standup shower) so I took the Summer Infant My Bath Seat over to my in-laws to test it and leave it to be used when my daughter is visiting her grandparents. The first thing I noticed was how super easy it is to put together and install. The provided instructions were clear and easy to understand and I loved that they were included on the seat itself! So many baby products are difficult to figure out and I sure don't want extra frustration at bath time. I would caution you to make sure you check the measurements of your tub because the Bath Seat fit perfectly in my in-laws guest tub but would not properly secure in their larger master tub. Perhaps my favorite thing about the Summer Infant My Bath Seat is that it has no small nooks & crannies for water to hide out and grow mold. That is so important to me, as my daughter's health is my #1 priority! The seat felt very secure and held my daughter in a safe and comfortable position. I was grateful to have two hands free to wash her, knowing that she was secure and wouldn't slip out from under me. Unfortunately, I did find it a tad bit difficult to maneuver around the seat to wash her appropriately. I do think this would be a fantastic seat for transitioning a baby from the traditional baby bath tub to a full-size tub before they are able to fully sit up on their own. My daughter sits independently now and she seemed to find the Summer Infant My Bath Seat a bit constricting (she is very independent and loves her freedom!) I would definitely recommend the Summer Infant My Bath Seat to my friends/family and wouldn't hesitate to give one as a baby shower gift!
Date published: 2018-06-07

Rated 5 out of 5 by Barogers221 from Bath time can be fun for all One of the scariest things for me as a new mom was tackling bath time for an infant. We used a baby bath tub with a newborn sling until baby girl could sit with some assistance. We then switched to using the baby bath tub without the sling. And with each transition the fear of baby girl slipping out of my grasp, because she's soapy and slippery or pushing off the tub or twisting or rolling, grew exponentially. The more mobile baby girl became the harder it was for me to safely maintain my one-handed hold on her while washing her with my free hand. Life changed when weeSpring Parent Panel gave me the opportunity to try the Summer Infant Bath Seat. My days of wrangling the ever moving squirrel that is my daughter were finally over. Very easy to install, the Summer Infant Bath Seat is designed to adhere to three walls (back of tub and two side walls of tub) of your tub like a T via suction cup technology. The arms of the suction cups are adjustable to meet the width needs of many tubs and have a locking mechanism to ensure safety. There are also two standard suction cups that adhere to the floor of the tub with pressure. The Summer Infant Bath Seat has a backrest, a bar in front that baby girl can hold, and a partition for her legs. Finally both of my hands are free to wash and play with baby girl during bath time! She is a mover and shaker so safety is of the utmost importance. The Summer Infant Bath Seat gives her enough space to splash and play but not enough to let her slide around in a way that feels hazardous. And although it takes up a corner of space in the bathroom when not in use, we love the Summer Infant Bath Seat and use it every night as part of our bedtime routine. It has proved to be the perfect transition tool from the infant bath tub as baby girl grows into using the adult tub. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us the Summer Infant Bath Seat to try and review. If your baby is just starting to sit up independently but isn't quite there yet you may want to consider this product. The installation is straight foward- you suction cup the seat into your tub. Make sure to measure your tub, because this isn't a one size fits all product. The suction cups are a nice feature, but if you have multiple children or use the same tub as your baby you might get tired of reinstalling the product every single time. It's a great product, but the time period babies spend in the "wobbly" stage is so short it makes it hard to justify buying this product, especially if you're short on space. There was only one problem using it, and it was a kid might get their leg caught between the seat and the side of the tub if they try to twist to one side or the other. Otherwise it’s a great product and I wish we had it sooner, maybe then the kid wouldn’t have hated baths so much. Seat is roomy enough to be able to wash your baby without making him uncomfortable. Seat was easy to secure to bottom and sides of tub (TIP: The Side arms rotate in opposite directions pay attention to the lock icon or you'll end up retracting the arm) However, neither myself nor my husband could not get back suction cup to "stick." Even reviewing the online tutorial didn't help. Tried using this bath seat in both a porcelain and fiberglass bathtub. Back suction cup did adhere in fiberglass tub, but popped loose when I put my baby in the seat. Only used this bath seat once as suction cup issue made me worry about my baby's safety -- disappointing as it is a nice bath seat. I appreciate that the company wants my child to be very safe in the bathtub but they still haven’t worked out all the kinks. The bath seat was physically difficult to install even though the instructions were easy enough to follow. It was hard to put the arms in place and ultimately, the baby was sitting sideways which I felt was awkward. Once the seat was finally secure, it felt very safe which I really liked. However, once removed from the bathtub, it takes a really long time to get it back into a collapsed down form to store.
Date published: 2018-06-06

Rated 5 out of 5 by NCMAMA from Must Have, Especially for First Time Parents! Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bath seat! As a new parent, bath time with an infant can be a bit nerve wracking. We dreaded the day our little one outgrew the sink because we knew the bathtub was a whole new ball game with a whole new set of rules. We were using a fold up reclining bath seat that was okay, but we had to keep one hand on our little one at all times or she would slide off or sit forward and subsequently go face first into the water. The Summer Infant bath seat completely changed bath time for us. It requires an actual installation that can easily be removed between baths. There are three arms that twist out with suction cups on each to secure the seat securely to your tub. I was a bit confused on how to install the seat at first, but once I accessed the YouTube video advertised on the box, I quickly understood how to properly install the seat. It felt very secure and didn't budge an inch. I check it before each bath and it has always stayed in place and fully secure. While you still must always be beside your baby in the tub, this seat will permit you to bathe your baby without having to constantly keep one hand on them to hold them in place. Bath time is now more efficient and enjoyable! My daughter loves to sit up in the bath seat which allows her to play with her bath toys while I give her the scrub down. She's very secure but can still move around comfortably while in the seated position. I'm a huge fan of this seat and only wish we had received it sooner as our baby was 8 months old when it arrived and it's only recommended for use up to 10 months. The only con I've found to this product is that it is a bit large and could be challenging to store between uses. Regardless, this item will definitely be my new baby shower gift for all our new parent friends! I would say that I was a little bit skeptical at the beginning and worried about my baby's safety on the first day of use because I have a very active baby. But, I took the time to securely reinstall the bath seat on the weekend. I can assure you that my baby and I were more relaxed. He was excited to be seated on his own instead of me holding him as usual. This seat makes it easier to wash your little one. The back was at mid level because he is tall, but it would be a little higher if you have a small baby. Other than that, it's a great item for teaching and giving your baby some independence while bathing them. I highly recommend this item to parents.
Date published: 2018-06-06

My Bath Seat Pink Reviews - page 4

y_2025, m_5, d_12, h_8

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.42

cp_3, bvpage2n

co_hasreviews, tv_9, tr_72

loc_en_CA, sid_649C0970, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_toysrus-ca

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 5ms

reviews, product
